Something about the system couldn't show it and then they made it seem it only had a 30 warranty?????? I had the on line order receipt and their order number. Bottle return has been down for at least 10 days. As a frequent shopper I just asked Customer Service when the bottle return would be open? They weren't sure - someone lost the keys. Six days later, I asked the same question at Customer Service. They just had no idea and just shrugged their shoulders. I asked to speak to a manager or the head of Customer Service - no one was able to help. While on the self check out line, the security guard alerted an employee to "watch me" as I tried to move things from my cart to the very SMALL staging area you put things after they are scanned. After I asked him why he would do this he denied it Totally lying. I clearly heard him as did the employee who had to come over to me. Totally disrespectful and concerning. Not to mention I was at the last self check out counter closest to him. Really- like I would steal? Why don't you get employees to man the check outs and get rid of this self check out area. MG....the stuff works in walmart names something like Mathra a black lady who works on the electronc cellphone area was so rude to me . I was there this morning around 9:44am tried to purchase an straight talk iphone se 3 ,was going to buy 2 iphone se3 .She told me i only allowed to buy 1 .than i said oh ok. that is fine. so we went to the cash register .i was paying cash , so i put cash on the of the register table told her its $160 .after she gave me the change back .she told me :you need to hand your money to me .not just put it on the talbe ,I was like what the fuck is going on .who said ppl can not put money on the table ? who are you ? anyway ,within the whole process she likes doesnt want to sell anything to me . very bad shopping experence at this walmart. read more

Horrible parking unless you are handicapped or picking up an online order, as ALL the spaces anywhere near the store are reserved for those. So be prepared to drive around to find a spot, then walk several blocks UPHILL. You can skip your workout that day! Now for the store. It gives off a grungy feel with it's chipped painted flooring that looks untouched since 1955. Good luck finding anything without a may with hardly an overhead sign and price stickers were missing on several items on my list. Some items weren't even stocked at this store, but were in the other Norwalk location that's now closed. I've been here 3x in the past 4 months & each time the shelves lacking product, with empty spaces. The (mostly non-friendly) staff were working to stock the old, worn shelving with what stock they were given. I spoke with one worker who said half the staff sent over from the closed store had already quit due to poor treatment by a female Hispanic manager whom he said was nasty to the transferred workers. The ones who remain put up with her abuse. The Norwak store near I95 closed this month for good so all of those customers are driving to this store which might explain the lack of parking spots & stock. But, why on earth didn't the mucky-mucks wait until they got this store up to snuff to handle the influx before shutting the other store down? (another worker told me the back storage area is tiny so that must be why there's such a lack of stock?) I'm going to shop Target while waiting for all the promised improvement to take place to this store. Supposedly they bought out the surrounding properties to enlarge the store and parking lot. Horrible horrible horrible the one on Main Street has horrible customer service I placed an order online with the Walmart name all over it the product was not satisfactory they said I could take it to the store the girl could only return 2 of the 6 items and could not credit my debit card properly she told me I had to take the other 4 and call the 800 number she said it was my fault for not reading the fine line and because it was a 3rd party and not really Walmart I told her her company gave the impression it was their product she would not take responsibility for the return And now I have 4 items I've still yet to return I call the 800 number I got the reward center he said the 800 number was busy he told me I won a $100 reward I told him I didn't want a $100 reward I wanted a return of this item and stop wasting my time we ran around in circles and I still have the 4 products that I have not returned yet and this has been a nightmare read more

This Walmart is great. There is always tons of parking, tons of registers open, and it is always clean. This is located on the Norwalk/Wilton border which is a nice location. I would definitely come here before I went to the other Walmart on CT ave. They have everything you could want there and it is also very organized. When you walk in the clothes are to your left and unlike a lot of other walmarts they do have regular sizes in stock like small medium and large. They is also a Subway located inside of here which is great. I love Subway and this is a full service one with any sandwich you could want. read more

Out of the 3 Walmarts nearest to me, this is the best - but it's certainly not saying much and more like picking the lesser out of 3 evils. I live in lower Westchester and the fact that I bypass the hideous White Plains location to come here should say a lot about that. I made the mistake of going to the garbage Connecticut Avenue location once and won't be doing that again. I only go to Walmart on occasion for the price, but maybe spending a little more at another company is the way to go. This location is clean and decently stocked. By that I mean you'll find most of what Walmart carries without too much of a mess. If you're looking for a DVD, book, cd(clean version), or game - it's Walmart standard and whomever chooses at the home office for stores to carry. You'll find most new releases however and some of their exclusives. As far as clothes, maybe you'll find your size, maybe not. The over the counters, lotions, shampoos, and all that stuff - you can't beat the prices when compared to everywhere else. The prices for TV's and such are pretty decent, but you won't always find the best brand name either, so do your homework before purchasing that laptop or electronic. There is no fresh produce here or meats, so if you're looking for that "Walmart Steak", it's not happening at this location. It's typical mini mart items with a larger selection and cheaper prices - aka canned, boxed, and bagged items. Really all typical Walmart selections of a little bit of almost everything. Most of the time, I find what I'm looking for. Most of the employees are terrible here. Sometimes I think it's like some sort of parody of a work tape - you know the ones they make you watch (or used to) to see what a "good employee" is in the most fake of situations - but sadly, it's real life and makes you wonder how the hell they got hired in the first place. I mean they want to raise minimum wage to $15, yet most aren't worth .50 cents an hour. If you can get them to work at all, it's lethargically slow. Most seem to like to socialize with each other or with their phones. Maybe it's just me and my high work ethic (both retail and not) - but then again, I worked for low wages when I was younger and didn't complain about wanting more while busting my ass, working fast and efficient, and providing customer service - no, here is the polar opposite - do very little to nothing and want more for it. The most recent time in here, there were some rude, nasty, and lazy employees. I wanted to apply for a management job just to fire 90% of the staff and then quit - that's how bad it is in here. No point getting to any examples, because there's only so much space in a Yelp review and there would be too many to list. Basically, if you're coming here expect terrible "customer service" and terrible work-rate. Yeah, they'll make excuses about low pay for not doing their job that they applied for - but when I was making $4.25/$4.75 per hour years earlier I still worked my ass off, so there's no excuse about the almost blatant lack of work ethic here. Good luck finding someone in a particular department as well - or finding someone who knows where the assigned department employee is ($15 an hour......LOL! what a joke). The registers aren't usually bad as far as lines and enough registers open - but I've always come at the 8-9pm time. The cashier I had most recently barely spoke English which is always nice in America these days. She was also very slow and bagged items like a pre school child would. Yep, give those hard working employees that $15! They share the parking lot with some other stores, most notably Staples. There are carts lingering in the lot at times. The lot isn't terrible, but the people who use it are pretty bad and lazy parkers, so use caution walking to and from you car as the next person will mow you down to get to that space that is just a few feet closer to the store. When it rains heavy, there is also a lake that forms in part of the lot. Other than the carts, none of this is Walmart's fault, but you have been warned. So it's a Walmart - expect cheaper prices and almost a little bit of everything. Really, you can't argue with the prices of most things and if you're looking to save, then this is a decent place to shop. Once again it's clean and that's very important. If you're coming here to ask an "employee" (*giggle*) for help or are expecting good work ethic here, you'll be searching for a long time and will likely be disappointed. Again, 90% of the employees in here are absolutely terrible - but that's still better than some of it's closer sister stores (White Plains, Connecticut Avenue). read more

3 stars is the most I think I could ever give a Walmart store. This one has an even amount of positive and negative attributes. The negative - it's smaller than most stores and doesn't have as large of a selection as the one in Stratford. The positive - I personally don't get a sense of dread walking into this store. I can always find everything easily. Its never been insanely packed when I've been there. They have self checkouts which is nice when you just need to grab something quickly. read more

Bait and switch. Multiple e-mails regarding an online order. Item not available. Yes, it is, but you have to cancel your online order for a store with excess inventory. Bored staff who could care less. Unanswered phones. You say an item can be picked up on the day of the online order. I place an order. Multiple e-mails later knowing I need the tent tomorrow, I am told by the store and the so-called service center that I can cancel my online order, come into the store, and pay $5 extra. What a maze. What obfuscation. I have been a WalMart advocate, but not a shopper. Guess it's time to find another shopping venue. This was as bad as it gets and then some. read more

This Walmart does have a huge variety of stuff you need but... The staff is nowhere near friendly; they treat you like a nuisance and don't even bother smiling or willing to help in any way. From my experience, customer service here is awful, makes me wonder how and why the people here are hired to do their job (they clearly can't). Of the two Walmart's in Norwalk, this is the better one. It's generally less crowded and check out is faster. The staff is also nicer. Parking can be tricky in this lot, but it's an old plaza and not really anything that Walmart can do about it. read more

The Walmart pharmacy here is very good. The pharmacist and all her assistants are very helpful and call us by name. However, I found out that ordering online for same-day pickup does not work. I ordered a product for my wife, after first checking carefully that it was available for same day pickup. After the Walmart.com web site had asked who was going to pick it up (photo ID required) and taken my credit card number, the confirmation page said that the order would be ready for pickup in two days time. What an aggravation! My housekeeper had already gone to the store, so she paid for the same product with her own credit card, and called me. Then I cancelled (I hope) the order, that was still in the processing phase. read more

As far as Walmarts go, this one is no better than the neighboring one across town on Connecticut Ave. The biggest difference is this one is usually less crowded because there are more retail shops across town so more people go there. Store manager Candy is really a stoic, brusque individual but the other manager Anna Lisa makes up for her lack of personality. read more

I hate this Walmart! Unfortunately there is not a Target nearby and this one is literally a block from my house. Alot of the time they are out of what I need, which are regular stock items! Then on top of that every time I go in there the employees are standing around chatting amongst themselves, even when they are "handling" customers. As we walked in heard an employee telling another staff member they cursed someone out at the service center, what a great beginning... staff literally do not care about your presence in the store and will let you know to move out of there way, if you can avoid the back end by the car parts because there's always staff plowing through with floor dollys and merchandise and like i said they will let you know to move..... went to check out and some chinese old man was very helpful to the man in front of me checking out but as as soon as I approached it was like he was trying to get me out of the door already lol I swiped my card and the machine didn't read it correctly immediately he turn the card machine as i was reading it and told me to do it again........DUH, so I swiped it again it went through then it prompts if I wanted cash back , this old man again turn the card machine and can barely see himself what it says finally i had enough and said Relax I know what I'm doing, rude staff and walmart needs to show these employees some edict I know publix in the south would fire you in a heart beat for being like that, oh and forget going to return something to customer service they will literally avoid helping you and when they do get to you they make it impossible to return something, watch out for SHANEKWA her name explains it all lol! read more
