live in the tradition area in Port st lucie and have used new life pharmacy a few times with no…read moreissues and I actually loved them although today I had a few prescriptions sent in from my doctor when I went to pick them up i got drilled by a woman who claimed she was a nurse so not the pharmacist I was being asked to pay without using my insurance when I asked she claimed they rejected the payment so I called my insurance which is cvs cvs while at the pharmacy and they told me and I put it on speaker that there was not any issue and my Co pay was 4.00 for one and 7.00 for the other while new life was asking for 47.00 when I asked the so called nurse who was at this point in a very bad mood she claimed it was saying there was a system error on her end while cvs cvs said no it was going through on their end but she persisted that I would have to pay out of pocket also saying that I was taking too much of the cough medicine insinuating that I was over dosing the cough medicine which I was not and it was really not up to her to make that assumption so I asked how we could resolve the issue and she kept repeating that it was a system error but if I paid cash it would be OK so I am so so disappointed in this pharmacy that I would rather use crappy cvs where I have to wait on line forever so I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NEW LIFE PHARMACY ON VILLAGE PARKWAY IN PORT ST LUCIE and this so called nurse should be fired!!!

I even did a little internet investigating to find the average price for this med falls between $18 and $30 per 10ML. Upon leaving Schaefer's, I called my vet on the ride home and spoke with them, they confirmed the $24 price-point. Bottom line, they knew I needed those drops (because I told them over the phone), they knew no one else in town had it (because I told them over the phone), they knew it was back-ordered and that no one else would be able to get it for me (because I told them... you seeing a pattern here???), so they charged me $75... avoid this place like the plague. I really appreciate the friendliness of the two pharmacists and the time they spend helping to make sure the medications are right for me. Other staff members are friendly and the pharmacy also provides delivery! The pharmacy has a small retail store and some products are pricey - you can probably get better prices elsewhere but in my experience you will not find the friendly competence of pharmacists elsewhere.

The rental was very reasonably priced and it cost $30 for a multi day rental of a transport wheelchair. The lady who helped us was super nice and provided excellent customer service.
