This was the BEST decision that we could have made. We were aware of his professionalism and quality of work, but were surprised at how personable he was and how he tried to customize each experience for his clients. Raghu Uncle immersed himself in our event. Leading up to the engagement party he was thorough; he tried to understand the type of shots we like to see, i.e. candid vs. portrait or colored vs. black / white, so he could deliver on the day of the event. He made himself available by phone, text and email to alleviate any concerns that we may have had leading up to the event, when stress levels were greatest. When asked, he was willing to go outside of the purview of his role as a photographer / videographer to ensure that our event was perfect by lending advice based on his experiences. After our engagement party, despite having other events to work, he was still accessible. Equally important, he delivered our engagement photos in a timely manner. This is an important consideration for all those looking to hire a photographer / videographer - how quickly can they edit, finalize and deliver the photos from your event to you. Raghu Uncle was able to give us ours in less than one month, despite being fully booked for other events. This left a lasting impression with us. Naturally, given our amazing experience during our engagement party, we hired him and his team for our wedding - despite it being in another city. Raghu Uncle quickly went from just another vendor to a friend. We had our pre-wedding shoot in another city, again, no issues from Uncle. We spent roughly 10 hours this day (including a break for lunch) taking photos. Throughout it all, Raghu Uncle was encouraging and enthusiastic. We were able to do three wardrobe changes and took shots from three different locations. Raghu Uncle saw that we were having fun and in turn, he was having fun. As I mentioned before, he tries to customize each experience so that it's perfect for the couple. In the end, we had a ton of photos in our arsenal! Finally, it was time for the wedding week. Raghu Uncle photographed and recorded four events for us. Throughout each of the four events, Raghu Uncle and team were where they needed to be. I'm certain that no stone was left unturned and no key moment went unphotographed. This speaks to the quality of their experience and moreover their attention to detail. To touch on one more aspect of our experience with Raghu Uncle, before moving on to costs, it has been a little over one month since our wedding has passed. At our one month mark, Raghu Uncle posted a few pictures on Facebook from our events. This showed me that we weren't just another number or event to him; it was a nice personal touch. We truly believe that Raghu Uncle and team are the best available and the easiest to work with. He was referred to us and it's only right that we pay this great experience forward to the next couple. Of course, like with all vendors, money is a relevant issue. In our experience, Raghu Uncle was the type of vendor to work with you. His primary goal was for us to have the best experience possible and not be overwhelmed with costs. My sense is that he is looking to make a fair and equitable accord, as opposed to becoming an overnight millionaire. He was genuinely the complete package - professional, personable and affordable - while delivering high quality shots and videos in a timely manner.
