I'd been in a Big Lots (once before) in Joliet and found the prices to be quite reasonable, but the store kind of dingy and picked over. However, the minute I'd walked into the new Lockport location, I could see that this store was much lighter and better laid out as well. It simply "felt good" to shop there. Plenty of merchandise to cruise through and if you're not careful, you just may find yourself filling up your cart with things you didn't plan on buying beforehand but discover you can't afford to pass up! The employees are a delight to deal with, too, and I've never had a sour experience with any of them, even during the busy holiday season. I can actually say that I enjoy coming here and from time to time, find myself wandering in just to see what's new. Right now, holiday decorations are dramatically discounted, so I know I'll be heading back again real soon. You should, too!

I was able to pick up a office chair and I was very excited about it. I have attached two photos, one of them is the store floor model as you can see. It has a gray seat. When I got home and my husband and put it together. It has a black seat. The fact that it has a black seat is fine with me, but I had no idea. The staff was super friendly and very helpful though.
