So annoying! Why do I need to swipe in and check receipts going out? The membership is already a hassle, shouldn't subscripton models REDUCE the hassle? Not here, parking is a headache at every Costco, a parking lot purposely setup opposed to easy access. I'm always boggled in the brain, prices are quite fantastic here and there, a couple items in this massive warehouse like alcohol and organic two ingredient peanut butter well above expectations, others like meats strangely not the value compared to frequent Kroger red tags or local butchers. Of course the employee treatment and corporate standard are a powerful example for what American dreams are built on unlike Walmart, Target, and other trash.

Updating my review to commemorate my 1000th check in at this specific warehouse! This is my favorite Costco - oh wait ALL Costco's are my favorite. However, this location has some great people working here. Everyone is extremely friendly and fortunately or unfortunately they know me and my family - because Costco gets ALL my money. The executive membership pays for itself if you spend enough; up to $1250/year. We enjoy getting our 2% reward, which usually arrives about two months before membership renewal. I'm expecting my biggest payout yet this fall (maxing out the $1250) and already planning to spend it right back at Costco. In addition to the rewards, Costco is extremely customer focused and will allow you to return items you are unsatisfied with. Items do rotate, sometimes seasonally or just because - so if you see an asterisk on the price label, you'd better stock up if it's a fave. Then, head right on over to the customer feedback box and drop a note. This note should be a whiny one, imploring them to bring back your favorite item; if they have enough people complain, they might just bring it back for you; Because Costco has the best selection among clubs, IMO and the best customer service.

I love this Costco in NWI. I visit it whenever I'm back home visiting and they have so many great things available for purchase. Visited again last night and wow do they have so many samples available on a Thursday night. It's always very clean, and the bathroom is super clean as well. Their wine section has really expanded over the years, and it's even more impressive, I have to say. They have a pretty steady rotation of different products available, which is super nice. Holiday time it gets hectic and backed up now because of the number of self checkouts. It used to be much quicker with not having those.

It was clean and staff was nice. They were like every other Costco, nothing to complain about. They didn't have any cell reception though, and bc I was traveling, my cc's were locked and I had to go outside to unlock them. Luckily, I wasn't there alone, so my daughter watched my cart for me while I went outside to unlock my payment method. No Costco has great reception, but I have a new iPhone w Verizon, so I usually am fine unlocking my apps in the check out lines, but if you're in my situation, unlock them before you go inside lol.

Not sure why this place is soooo busy anytime I go here? Displays in the aisles always seem to impede cart traffic. Employees are not super friendly but, I don't blame them since the customers with the exception of myself are rude. Parking here is always a nightmare and some people have a difficult time putting the shopping carts in the cart corral. Great selection of items but, they are not consistent with what they stock.

This Costco is a well laid out friendly environment. The food court has enough seating. We've always found room for my family if 5. And by the way, where else can you feed 5 people for just $10 and everyone eats until they're satisfied? I digress...They're all set up for Christmas. wreaths, Christmas trees, all the way down to the enormous pumpkin pie which is only $5.99. Honestly you can't make a homemade one that size for that price!!! Do yourself a favor and pick up the new Sriracha spice. Costco's selection is always rotating, so don't miss out!

Every now and again a customer will experience the Costco pissed off employee "Cattle Treatment" ..The day I'm giving feedback, was a recent Sunday and busy (to be fair) and Lady at the long self checkout were treating customers like it's the Illinois DMV. Apparently there is a New Policy at the self checkout checking ID's. Witnessed this lady at Self check out yelling with a loud disrespectful volume to all the customers at the "self checkout" in the way she was bossing/directing/yelling at customers to get their Costco ID's out. I had mine out next to my wallet and she came back around to me personally acting like a busy body and stood in front of me demanding I get my id out. Long line that was 15' front the first self checkout and I have mine out and so I checked her on her bossy attitude saying " we are not at the DMV" and that "I won't be yelled at" in line at Costco. She ended her grumpy rant with me with rolling her eyes and very clearly laughing at me (as her attempt to try to embarrass me) playing to everyone in the line. Once I checked out I was in the middle self check out area and pissed at being disrespected and I spoke with two other Costco employees that were nice and I explained her rude behavior and they did not look surprised that I was complaining about her and they said for me to communicate that to upper management. They were busy I get that yet I won't be directed and yelled at like I'm Cattle. Eventually spoke with Store manager Tom today and maybe he was having a bad day too, and he tried to mischaracterize the occurrence and I said check the video for her disrespectful laughter and he refused to acknowledge that occurred. He then attempted to spice up my feedback by acting indifferent, acting like I was wasting his time, and giving comments such as "we watched the video" there are "there are 3 sides to every story" and then I asked him what the 3rd side was? He said "the truth." Told him that I find it funny that he felt that my side was anything but the truth. He continued with the more-or-less defensive petty conversation style. I used some sarcasm (similar to "what the 3rd side is!!??") to Lighten to feedback mood and he stated my sarcasm was "inappropriate" . It really wasn't it was mild, witty, and lighthearted. Honestly, Maybe he took too much feedback that day, yet I do have to question how smart he is to add insult to injury from the feedback I gave to him. Could tell he didn't like the fact that I told him that I've been to the store several times after, and that's it's obvious that since that bossy lady incident that the times I have been to the self checkout register NOBODY was checking ID's since then. He acted like that was improbable if not impossible, and I told him no that is a fact. He definitely did not like that. Was on the phone with the assistant and put on hold while I waited. So the total call was approx 40 minutes and he had to take a jab at me saying that "we have been on the phone for almost 40 minutes" not true IF you consider me waiting for him to come on the line. At that point, everything was fine as I had a perfectly positive, respectable, and respectful convo with Christina, and one of the assistant store managers about the incident so I'm thinking what the heck is the matter with Manager Tom on the day I spoke to him?? Bottom line, stop treating loyal customers like they are cattle Costco.. worse yet and then defending poor behavior from the bossy lady at self-checkout. P.s what happened?? Self checkout was pitched to be this great "fast and friendly" new thing for the consumer for past 20 years!

Sorry sometimes we have to be 'those people' who shop outside the city/state to save money. Yes, renting the car is extra, but we'd have to rent it anyway for any Costco we go to. It could be the principle of the thing too. The store is nicely organized, and usually I get a 60 cent soda but this time I didn't. I love the granola they sell, but didn't see it this time. I think it may be a spring/summer only item. This was a very busy time (12:30 on Saturday!) but despite the crowd people were so polite. They had samples galore, and good portions too. Yes, we saw CHRISTMAS stuff in early October, but we are technically in the holiday season.

Costco sells thousands of these same identical wreath. Do you really want the same wreath hanging on your front door as your neighbor?

Now I know why my husband told me that we shouldn't go in here...its like being in a candy store…read morebut with so much cool stuff for your house and home. We went in to look for some planters my mom had recently picked up here for a nice price and I wanted to go back to see if they had any more available. To my sadness, I was unable to locate any additional planter sets like the ones my mom had picked up, but not to worry, there is so much more here to find! First off, allow yourself at least 30-45 minutes to get through this store if it's your first visit. There is so much to see and great items throughout the entire store. You can pick up anything from outdoor furniture to bakeware, from pergolas to mirrors. Second, be cautious about what you put in the basket. There were several items which were very difficult to decipher the pricing. They have a bunch of tiki torches and I wanted to pick some up for around our patio but there was no pricing. By the time my husband was able to find someone to help him get a price, I had moved on to another part of the store and we forgot to go back to get the very well priced torches for $2.99 a piece. He's going back tomorrow to grab them for us before they're gone! Last, it's very easy to get caught up in how pretty some of the items are but frankly some items we're severely overpriced. I used my self control (which was not easy!) however we got out of here for less than $60 and picked up some beautiful plant stands, some absolutely adorable indoor/outdoor pillows for our patio furniture for $7 a piece and a few solar lanterns for a decent price if you ask me. It's nice that solar items are starting to come down in pricing!! My favorite part of our trip was at the checkout. We walked up to get in line behind a lady and her two boys in the cart. The younger kiddo was kinda whining but not annoying...just being a kid. Turns out he wanted candy!!! I told him I wanted some candy too, I totally understood his pain. By the time we were about done checking out ourselves, we had a woman behind us with her little lady beginning to beg for candy too. We just laughed because evidently, product placement is everything!

I purchased four large clay flower pots two years in a row from Old Time Pottery and, two years in…read morea row, they cracked and crumbled. I can't afford to pay $200 a year on pottery and have to replace it every year. I just tried calling the store twice to talk to a Manager about this and twice I let the phone ring several minutes, but no answer. I'm done with this store!
