He's always been into gold watches and shiny items. I will say that Macy's needs to hire more cashiers--the wait for customer service was about 15 minutes, as there weren't enough clerks available to help. On the positive side, they do size watches on-site and offer warranties that are worth purchasing. You also earn rewards for shopping at Macy's, and they always seem to have deals going on, which makes it worth stopping by. You definitely get your money worth!

The Holiday Light Parade in Uptown…read more This is the best light parade I have seen in NM. Every year I have managed to miss this Abq event, and always tell myself that "next year I will go for sure." Well I finally made it and it was worth going to. I was worried about the park and ride. I know sometimes park and rides are a pain, but this one was actually quick, easy, and FREE. Many of the stores were allowing restroom use. There were local shops selling hot coco, and some were open for holiday shopping. There were a lot floats and characters that the kids love seeing like Star Wars, Micky Mouse, The Grinch, and Santa of course. My pictures don't do it justice, but we will be adding this to our list of local events that we don't want to miss. Getting back was a breeze because they had all the buses lined up waiting for us to go back.

I normally use but mark down. They are currently loaded up with holiday stock, including lots of different gifts sets and such. Overall, it was just really chaotic and it seemed like the staff was very overwhelmed. The cashier that I had charged me for something I didn't want and luckily I noticed so we were able to take care of it right then and there but she seemed to be struggling.

Due to it's disorganized nature, shopping here is an all day experience in order to find those gems on the rack. They have GREAT discounts weekly and they hook you in for more shopping in the future by giving you Kohl's Cash which is also amazing. The quality of the clothing is good and they have sone well known celebrity designer brands--Vera Wang, Jennifer Lopez... The lines are usually long and there have only been 2 registers open at the area I was in at the times I have been here in the past. The cashiers are nice and always ask if I want to apply for a Kohl's credit card (which gives you an additional 30% off your purchase). I'm not in to department store credit cards, but if you do have you, there are events where you get additional savings on top of all the other discounts. My mother-in-law purchased a pair of capri pants and only ended up paying $4 for them. Seems like great savings to me.

I guess she was just covering her back because she was not there to help me. If they are going to keep items locked in displays then make sure people are there to help you. Otherwise I will just take my money elsewhere!
