I would give negative stars if I could. Very very bad customer service. It is like ridiculously hard to get someone to help you at this store. I asked someone to get something out of the locked closet and the lady's key phone to unlock the closet didn't even work. She told me her associate would be helping and coming over. She radioed him to come over. However, he just started helping other people with fishing licenses and ignored her call. She came back about 15 minutes later, after I yelled at the fishing license man to help me and unlocked the cabinet. Never coming to this Walmart again and I will be telling everyone about my experience here. read more

First off, it seems most other businesses have changed their toilet paper dispensers to make it easier to get it out.\n This Walmart has not It's still have to almost go to the ground in order to get to the t p. The north end doors do not both open to get in or out.The south indoors do, but the north does not.I almost pump my nose twice , just going into the store. As Walmarts go, Mom says this one is the best one in town. I'm in town visiting and, as Walmart's go, this one was pretty nice. The shelves were stocked, the employees were helpful, and we found most of what we needed. They were out of Ms Jessie's Multi-Cultural Curls hair gel. So sad. But it's hard to find everywhere, so I thought I'd look while I was here. What always trips me out about the grocery stores in Albuquerque is the fact that you can buy liquor here. I'm from Maryland, and we can only buy beer & liquor in the liquor stores. It's sectioned off, and you must purchase prior to leaving that area, but it does save you a stop. Also, note that the self-check out lanes at this store have been taken away. Partly due to theft and partly due to problems checking out. Mom was sad to hear that. Stopped in for a USB "C to C" cable for the rental car as it had no other USB ports. Store was clean and was able to get in and out quickly. Was surprised to see so many security staff on site, which made me think they must have alot of theft but also felt safe shopping there. read more

We spend $200 or more at this store a week. I also have things delivered to the house and belong to Walmart Plus. Today there was an item missing from my order. I tried calling the delivery department five times. It rang for almost four minutes and then went silent. The last time it connected but hung up on me. I tried to call the operator but your automated system wouldn't recognize it. I pay for Walmart Plus to have deliveries to my house. It has to be over $35 or I'm charged a fee. I would appreciate getting all of my order. I would appreciate being able to get in touch with someone when there is an error with my order. Walmart what can I say. It is what it is. Personally I'm not a fan. Given the choice I'll always choose an alternative. Unfortunately they are the only ones with a water machine to fill up jugs with clean filtered water. The day I got my oil change at the Walmart on Carlisle I had brought my jug with me knowing I could fill it up and load it in the car after it was done. To my surprise the machine was out of order. Because of this I was forced to search for another one. Granted there are a lot of store like Albertsons and smiths with water machines outside. Unfortunately they require cold hard cash and change which I rarely seem to have on hand. Some even had a car reader but sadly I've had bad luck finding one with a working card reader. Most of the time I get an error and it tells me "transaction canceled". So that's why I prefer to use Walmart's Primo machine inside the store. Plus it's only 30 cents a gallon there! Anyways, I don't like to leave a bad review but this location maybe because the area is just awful. Their machine is janky, the staff aren't very responsive, and there are a few interesting shady characters outside hanging around there that security if they even have any does nothing about. Better training for all employees. Management does care. I was double charged for a small space heater, cashier didn't do her job and verify the number of items as she double charged me for one item. Then it took me 30 minutes for the service desk to review the security cameras to get a refund. Then it take 5-7 day to get a credit back on my card :( This was THEFT! Come on Management do your job! THIS REVIEW SPECIFICALLY IS REGARDING OUTSIDE CURBSIDE PICKUP AND RETURNS... PROBLEM 1 - newest associates in lot and don't know how to do a return PROBLEM 2 - the associate who comes to help out says returns are not done outside PROBLEN 3 - wait time is unacceptable. So in a nutshell, I bought items online and needed to return them. I took the returns at the store designated by the return instructions on the app over 2 days time and 2 attempts. Finally I had to go to a different store, park, walk across the store, wait in line for 15 minutes and then start the return all over again before getting it approved. I got the links and instructions to take the items to the location to be returned. It's supposed to be really easy. I took the first item to Walmart and there was a young kid in the parking lot that was delivering packages to people. I asked him if I was in the right place to do a return he said he didn't know he was new. This is the first issue Walmart has people working in the lot bringing stuff to people in their cars but they don't know what they're doing. Second issue, I wanted to obviously do the return of the Walmart item and since this new employee didn't know what he was doing he called somebody else out who told me that there was no way of doing a return and getting credited for it outside. I left frustrated and figured I'd go back the next day and try it again hoping I'd find somebody else that could assist me. I did that. Unfortunately I sat in my car for 15 minutes after I checked in on their app which I had to download. I had entered my parking space and the color of my car and proceeded to wait for 15 minutes and nobody came out at all. Again frustrated I left went home and decided I would go to a different Walmart with the second item. I went to the second Walmart store parked walked inside walked across the store stood in line for 15 minutes and explained my dilemma to the person that was assisting people and she looked entirely clueless. I was shopping at this store for the first time and walked to an associate to politely ask if she could point me in the direction of a product. She slammed her hands down on the table, yelled at me that "This is the third time I've been interrupted!" She had been talking to another employee. I said I was sorry, but she stormed off 3 aisles and aggressively pointed with her arms down the aisle. I said thank you and as she walked by me, she on purpose bumped into my shoulder. I was a member of their grocery delivery service till today. Never will I ever shop with them again. Nobody there will even answer a phone to help you. I must have called 20 times with no answer. I ordered groceries online with them at the Eubank store to be delivered between 3PM and 5PM today. The guy who was the delivery driver dumped my groceries off at a neighbor's house and then texted me that my groceries were on my porch. Well they were not. I walked to my driveway and watched him speed off from my neighbors house. I had my handicap roommate go over and bring them to my house. Well not only did he not deliver the groceries to the right house but half the order was missing. I tried calling and calling and calling them at the Eubank store, and no answer. The delivery driver's name was Julio. You sent him once before and he delivered someone else's groceries to my house. He can't speak or read english. Now why would you do something like that to him or to your paying customers? You don't deserve to run a store if you're that careless or inconsiderate. What kind of place are you running? So now I'm out of money for the groceries I'm missing and I don't have the groceries I needed. Shop at that Walmart at your own risk and be sure not to order with them online. I go to Walmart to grocery shop mainly because of the convenience of the store having cheap products and everything I need for my everyday lifestyle. That aside, the customer service isn't really there. It's not exactly that the workers are rude, but they definitely don't seem present. Almost as if they're all just on some sort of robotic autopilot. It kind of brings down my energy every time I go in. By the time I leave I usually feel pretty drained. The worst walmart that I have ever shopped at. This is the worst walmart that I have ever shopped at. This store was out of stock on many food items. Several specific types clothing and personal care items were locked up with no staff to unlock them. There was only one cashier in the store. The cashier seemed to be demoralized and disinterested in waiting on customers. I understand that there is a labor shortage for numerous reasons, but if your store cannot attract skilled qualified personnel, customers will shop elsewhere including me. I now go to Target on Lomas or Walmart on Carlisle. read more

This location is currently being remodeled so many of the shelves are empty and every visit most items is in a different spot in the store. This location seems to always be crowded, it does not matter what time you visit. This location also has a big problem with panhandlers in the parking lot. They're always cutting costs with friendly service ... and they used to do it really well enough that I liked to shop here occasionally, despite the panhandlers, the half-dressed "just rolled out of bed" patrons and the all those shoplifters running from store security. Now, when we shop here we do it all: shop, scan, bag and load ... and watch our backs. I just feel that they could build in the cost of the checkout person and a car-loader. Honestly, I'd pay a little more to have that service. I don't really want to handle it twice at the store and then twice more at the car and then at home. Oh. Yes, thanks a bunch, Albuquerque City Council. Now, since you mandated that your voters shop and face checkout with no free bags, all this handling is just fine with you. Of course you don't shop here... you can afford to shop elsewhere or have someone shop for you. You just voted yourselves another raise after all. You're welcome? Back to the bags, ... From what the workers tell me, even the ones they sell may go away soon. (Do we need new legislators?) So, I have my own bags now... and just like everyone else, now I have to buy trash bags for those little trash cans at home. So much for convenience. Again, that was one of the two things I used to come here for: price and convenience. Now, I no longer have convenience, but I shouldn't complain because the price is still 3 cents less per item. Walmart used to be my favorite place to shop. Late night shopping for my teenage self. Now I dread entering the packing parked lot (that is always trashed). The quality of merchandise is hit or miss. I specifically went to purchase some fake food for my ever growing toddler. I found a pizza set in the toy section. It had 6 slices of pizza when assembles didn't even fit together. I went for three items & left the store without any of them. There wasn't a bell, customer service phone or a person near the paint counter, so I couldn't get the spray paint that I went for as it is locked in a case. Then, I went to the aisle with baggies, tinfoil, etc. I couldn't find the item I was looking for, so I found THREE employees stocking shelves in the next aisle over and asked where I could find the item. One of them told me it was on the bottom shelf in aisle 22. I asked, "what aisle am I in" (because I don't work in the store & have the aisle #'s memorized & have never been in this particular Walmart before and I will likely not go back). She pointed and said the next aisle. So, I went back, again & finally found the small tag for the item on the shelf only to find out it was out of stock. Would it have been too much work for one of them to walk with me & show me the items location? I could not find the last item I went for & I did not see an employee to ask anywhere on that side of the store. Overall, a frustrating & disappointing trip & a waste of time, but I will say the store was clean & bright. read more

I went on a tuesday around 7 and it was so empty! I chatted with one of the workers who was extremely friendly. All the isles were completely empty and it was pretty clean. The best Walmart in Albuquerque. Very clean, the employees don't all act like all the customers are there just to scam them. The Walmart on Carlisle is the worst. Everyone at that location needs to be fired and then all new employees need to be trained by this store cause the difference is night and day.
