I talked to Josh on the phone to request generic and he said if I'd come in they'd fill his prescription right away as I needed to bring my insurance card. When we discovered my card was still at home, Josh went out of his way to get insurance info including calling multiple people and even our hometown pharmacy to get son's insurance worked out. Great people service, probably the best service we've received in Missouri. Bill and front service manager were great too. Son was the hero when he got to bring lollipops home for his siblings too. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the pharmacist. (Nov. 15th, in the afternoon) He came out into the store and helped me find everything I was looking for (all sugar free things) and then recommended some essential oil. I've been skeptical of the essential oil mumbo jumbo for a while. Not anymore. What he gave me helped me breathe, and reduced my cough - a lot. He was one of the nicest pharmacists I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend this pharmacy to everyone - especially travelers!

However, though it's not mentioned on the exterior, this druggist carries Walgreens branded merchandise. The corporate website also lists it as one of their stores. Staff were friendly and considerate: I stopped in to buy a required face mask I'd forgotten for a client visit and I was offered a simple mask for free. A food counter, once popular for quick meals, no longer operates and I was told it probably wouldn't reopen due to government regulations.

Sandwiches are $2.85 to $4.00 and served with chips. The drug store has a Dollar section and I found cleaning supplies cheaper than any other store. 46 oz of pine cleaner for $1.00. They also have other items found in drug stores, as well as pharmacists on duty. They give away free calendars with their business name on them. The restroom is very small, not handicap accessible. Contains one toilet and trash can. No sink to wash hands. Very small, but very clean. The ice cream was served in glass dishes. I had Rocky Road and strawberry and my husband had chocolate and vanilla. It is Hiland ice cream and while it was nice to have that experience, I felt Bramn's ice cream is better. If I lived in the area, I would utilize the pharmacy and shop there on a regular basis.

However, I recently utilized their photo department to order photo enlargements and was disappointed with my experience. I ordered a handful of 4x6 and 8x10 photos to this specific Walgreens via online. When I arrived to pick them up, I was greeted by two employees before heading to the photo desk. Upon looking over my prints, 2 of my 4 8x10 prints were missing and many of my 4x6 prints had streaking in the middle of the images, which I know was not on the original photos themselves (see photos). When I asked about my missing prints, the associate found they had printed, just not been placed with my order. As for the 4x6 prints, she took my prints and appeared to reprint them but the streaks were still noticeable. She did not offer to clean the machine then reprint my images or offer a discount/refund for my streaky images. It appeared she was not familiar with the photo department's equipment. I will not be sending my photos enlargements to this Walgreens in the future.

The online appt service said this store had vaccine in stock - it is a little over an hour away in West Plains, Mo. I drove over and was on time, in short sleeves with documents in hand. Upon arrival, I was told that they had no vaccine onhand bc they had given all the shots to walk-ins this morning. Further, they said they had no idea when they would be restocked. They said they had no info in-store about appts. that were made online for their store. Incredible. I told them I had an appt., drove over an hour to be there, and that CVS was the only pharma where I could get the shot with my insurance. The pharmacy staffer said, "Sorry." So, I got back in the car, gassed up, and drove a little over an hour back to my home - fully dissappointed at having accomplished nothing. If you have a choice of where to do business, you would be wise to go elsewhere. It is difficult to imagine worse service than that which was provided at CVS today.
