Came in for a few items after work and was surprised it wasn't as busy as I thought. I left with more than a few things and NOT THE THING I NEEDED! I was sucked in by the low prices on certain things I wanted( notice I didn't say needed). Time to check out and there were only a few lines open and the rest were self check out. The young lady moves her line quickly and all we're happy :) This is my go to Walmart IF AND WHEN I need to go. The only down side is everytime i go I have to manuever around boxes in the aisle that I guess " the ghost of Walmart" stock because I never see anyone stocking unless it's real late at night or early morning, but it never fails, there is usually a pallet somewhere near. The store is clean, which is a plus and employees are pretty helpful when needed, and the check out process isn't unbearable unless it's when they have two lanes open and one employee checking out. read more

This WalMarts Auto Service is the worst in the world. It took them 5 hrs to put 4 new tires on even though I was told I only had one car in front of me. They have a very effective check in lady Theresa but she's rude and barks at you if she has to explain anything. The guys in the shop stand and complain about how much work they have to do especially Dakota he stops working every 10 minutes to complain. The mgr Mario? After comparing side by side TVs for about an hour I finally chose to go with the tv for 50 dollars cheaper not because of price but the quality of the stand was a lot more durable so I asked for that tv and was taken to the aisle and was given a box with the same price and information as the sale price on the tv however the tv pictured on the box didn't look like the same tv so I went back and compared the shelf tag to the box and it was dead on. I still wasn't convinced so I broke the rules a bit and opened the box and I'm very glad I did come to find out the tv in the box was a cheaper built tv. An associate caught me and said in a very "you're busted" tone can I help you sir! I said as a matter of fact you can I said this isn't the tv your advertising. He said what do you mean I opened the box and showed him the tv he said I see what your saying but you shouldn't open the box I said if I didn't I would have gotten scammed he said sir we aren't in the business to scam anyone I said well that's what your doing. So I took him to the display and showed him and he said sir your right do you want me to get a manager I said I sure do. After about 10 minutes Jon the box nazi Shannon the manager and another lady came out of the back and the manager says sir what's the problem I explained the whole thing to her and told her that's false advertising she stopped me and said no it's not. I said then how come that tv with that price isn't the one in the box that has that price and name on it. She said lets see. Long story not so long they don't sell the tv that they have on display and can't even order it although the associates assured me it was the one in the box She said well I'm sorry they told you that but what do you want I said I wanted that tv for that price and she said we don't have that tv I said then take these tags down and I pulled the tags off and handed them to her and take this tv down she said I'm not taking anything down... Avoid this auto center at all costs. Came I. For a screw in my tire at 9:30 am and was told that there were 4 people ahead of us. After and hour and 45 min we asked how much longer and were told there were 3 cars still ahead of us. We asked for our keys back, then noticed there was not one person working on cars. The location is by far the best location to shop in the surrounding city of Memphis. They are always stocked with items. The have U-scan and always prepared with cashiers available. I literally drive 20 + minutes out of my way just to come to this location because I never have an issue.. read more

I went through the online pickup area and got all the groceries I needed and the young lady named Tiffany that helped me out was extremely nice, and even complimented my anime shirt and made me feel very welcomed. Went in to get my friend's car oil changed and they took four hours.They didn't tell us how many people were infront of us and when we did ask they said one when there was really more.She wanted her tire changed and they ended up tearing it up.Wouldn't put a new one on only the donut because we didn't have the money for a new one.Will not be coming back. read more

Photoshop is terrible. Don't go there for passport photo. A lady took the photo without stand or flash. After going there two more times to pick up the photos, I was told the photos are not good enough and I have to retake the photos. A total waste of my time and effort. The restroom was the most disgusting bathroom i have ever been in. All of the toilets were clogged and overflowing. There was no soap or warm water to wash your hands. This store never has had clean restrooms since I have shopped here and the toilets are always clogged but this time it was really bad!!! Complaining to the store manager has made no changes. I asked the GM how the employees wash their hands with no soap or warm water. She didn't have an answer nor did she seem to care. Think about this next time you buy food here. read more

My husband placed an on-line order last week and received an e-mail that his order arrived at this store yesterday. We went there to pick it up, but decided to look for 2 other items in the store first against my better judgement. Having once worked for Wal-Mart, I now refer to it as "the devil's store". Once we found our items, we went to the self-check since we had only 2 things, plus it was close to the on-line pick-up area. All stations were full when we arrived, but there was an employee at the register in front of the self-check stations who had a sneer on her face and turned her back to us when I commented that maybe we could check out with her since a couple of customers seemed to be having trouble and one lady had a whole basket of groceries to scan. We finally got a station only to find that a $50 card was already scanned on the register and we could not remove it. Looking around for the employee we'd noticed earlier, we could not find her. Finally she arrived and cancelled our entire transaction, forcing us to redo the whole transaction. How about getting some employees who are ready to work?! At Target, an employee would have likely stepped up and offered to help instead of turning away as Wal-Mart's did! I knew better. You should, too. Wal-Mart does NOT love America nor their employees.They love the almighty dollar and themselves! That's all. read more

This Walmart has the rudest staff in the photo dept. ever. I know Walmart isn't know for service but this place is the worst. I ordered some prinst to pick up in store and was that ever a mistake. One photo employee blew me off and dashed through a door saying she was "going on break" and left me standing there. Another employee came out and when I asked her for help told me, 'I'm going on lunch" and went through the same door. By the way it was after 2:00 PM. When an employee finally did give me my order it was wrong-the photos were all too dark and I was told, "That;s how you sent them on the computer." In other words "too bad-so sad". I did complain and the manager gave me a refund but really do people need to go through this. I had to redo the order the next day and sent it for pick up to another Walmart in AR where the staff are nice and friendly. I will NOT be going to HYW 64 Walmart ever again for anything now. read more

2 days before Christmas, at the Bartlett Walmart Wolfchase Area in Memphis, TN. I was waiting for help with electronics and the only person to acknowledge me was someone from the Tire/Lube center. I had to wait over 20 mins. for someone to find keys for electronics,they really had no clue as to where they were. Then when the zone mgr found them, in the department, she gave them to someone to help me, but it was the wrong set of keys, he got on his radio to tell her and she said, "oh, I don't know, maybe they are in the back. She came over like she did not believe him, she HAD the keys. I bought over a $300 camcorder. Then when I am checking out in the 20 items or less line, a lady got out of line to go the the other one and was told, "I'm closed", the cashier walked away to talk to someone, then came back and turned her light on to start checking. Instead of telling the lady that she turned away to come back over, she just let her stand in line again. I called to talk to a manager and the first time, could not understand the person answering the phone, the second time they answered saying" Walmart" and transfered me to electronics, the third time I finally got the assistant manager, which remembered me, because she was back there watching them try to get the case open. I find it hard to believe that there is only one set of keys for electronics. POOR Management. The employee must hate working for Walmart, because it shows on their face, no smiling and they move SOOOOOO SLOW. read more

Do not buy a firearm from WalMart. I was sold a Mossberg Pump 20 gage shotgun - total including back ground check was 263.00. Less than twenty four hours later I took it to my uncle who is a gun expert asking him to teach me to load it etc. He immediately said something was wrong with the metal clip in the ammunition chamber. The clerk who sold it to me had mentioned THE SAME THING as I had asked him to show me how to load it properly and with the permission of his store manager he did. It was during this demonstration he mentioned the clip but then dismissed it saying it was okay he just wasn't used to this model. He also sold me the display model when they had a boxed one in the back. Thier sign re: no returns was not in sight and they never advised me all sales are final. They refused to let me exchange the gun, would not give a refund only advised me to go thru the warranty process. I went thru HOURS or speaking with different managers, the corporate ofc etc. I was told by one manager he would do it as Wal Mart policy does allow it to be left to managers discretion but there a state law prevents the return of firearms. I called the TBI-ATF agent for this district and he advised there is no Federal law, no state law he knows of and called the store manager Karen Walker personally. She still refused to help me, besides advising me to go thru the warranty process she advised to to just " Trust in God". I assured her many crime victims have trusted & believe . We bought this gun with great urgency as our neighbor had a serious home invasion attempt and later our ADT alarm activated in the middle of the night and indicated the back door had sent a signal. Thanks to WalMart, we have spent the money and still do not have a firearm, the warranty process takes appx 2 weeks so we will be out more money going to a local gunsmith. I will no longer give this WalMart the 300.00 to 500.00 per month I have spent there for the last several yrs. read more
