A notable feature of this store is its cafe and dining area, which boasts ample natural light from the outside windows. However, I was informed by a manager that this amenity may be removed during the store's future renovation. We hope this is not the case. We are aware that Monticello/St.Michael residents regularly shop at this store and appreciate its optical department. It is reassuring to know that another outstanding Target store exists in our region. We intend to visit this location more frequently when shopping in Monticello. We do love that they sell our favorite Krispy Kreme donuts and Pizza Hut.

Have an associate walk you up front and pay there. Whoever hacked our cards purchased a small $1.00 item on each card, then hit it with $180.00 on my son's card and more on mine. It is reported and handled on our banks end, but what a hassle.

I even added it up on a damn calculator for them showing them at the higher price the subtotal before tax etc matched so I was actually charged the higher price. Then when asking for the actual store manager they claim they are the store manager which I doubt.

Gopher Bargain Center is part flea market, part unclaimed freight, part antique shop, part furniture store, and part complete randomness. Lawn mowers, fishing gear, bedroom sets, hot tub, flour, drain cleaner, cards, cookware, toaster ovens, Eggo waffles in strangely damaged boxes, a wrench big enough to undo the nut on the bolt that holds planet Earth together. These are merely the beginning of the delights found within this building. A trip inside will make you smile at the complete randomness of it all. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including the kitchen sink. You might, with enough imagination, be able to build and fully equip and furnish an entire house with the items in this store. That statement, though true at the writing of this review, may well change drastically as early as tomorrow. The Carnivore understands that there is an activity known as "scrapbooking," which he does not understand, but acknowledges the existence of. He is still stunned at the magnitude of items available at this establishment for this purpose. He figures that putting snips of things in a book pales in comparison to putting a steak in his belly, but to each, his own. There are curious smells in various parts of the store, too. some food-like, some solvent-like, some of completely unknown origins. All kidding aside, I promise you there is something here you want, or maybe even need. The entertainment value of wandering around and occasionally saying "What the hell?!?!" is worth a couple hours of your time. You just need to come here and walk around until you find it. As a side note, I believe in my heart that there are no more 75 watt incandescent light bulbs left in the store. I could, however, be wrong. Give it a try, but I would definitely be cautious about food items that are not obviously sealed, and even those, I would definitely wash the exterior of before opening. Books, toys, activities.... etc A kid can enjoy themselves throughly. Checking out can be a great ordeal. Not sure on the staffing ratio but the registers all had lines and no matter where you walked, you had to wait to checkout. That gives you a picture of what it can be on your visit. I came here more than once and it always seem to be busy so this my be a stop you want to make an hour before close. Let me know if you had a different experience.

I really like this target. The people are really nice and it's the biggest chain store in…read morenorthfield, then Walgreens and dollar tree, but still. It's convenient for us college students at St. Olaf and Carleton. But it's extremely limited. They have a tiny section for Afro hair and two aisles for euro hair. Please take us into consideration a little more and don't limit us to a corner.
