I even added it up on a damn calculator for them showing them at the higher price the subtotal before tax etc matched so I was actually charged the higher price. Then when asking for the actual store manager they claim they are the store manager which I doubt.

For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.
