they have employees that do not know what they are doing and have no customer service skills at…read moreall- customer definitely does not come first here and they do not take care of their mistakes- then after refusing to take care of the mistake on the receipt act condescending and tell you even though their receipt rang up an item that was 3/$18 at $7.24 each that they will only refund you $6.00 a piece and will not do the price adjustment even though the receipt states a different amount. I even added it up on a damn calculator for them showing them at the higher price the subtotal before tax etc matched so I was actually charged the higher price. Then when asking for the actual store manager they claim they are the store manager which I doubt.

Again, no customers involved here either. Why wouldn't people trying to purchase items be a priority??? No worries, I won't be back.

I would warn that you need to pay attention to prices. I bought an item that had two different prices on the shelf for the same item and then it rang up as a third more expensive price. They were all within 0.50 of each other, so not a huge deal, but still annoying.

It was the only place we both used our debit cards in weeks. We used a Discover card everywhere else. Do not pay for your purchases in the back in electronics. Have an associate walk you up front and pay there. Whoever hacked our cards purchased a small $1.00 item on each card, then hit it with $180.00 on my son's card and more on mine. It is reported and handled on our banks end, but what a hassle.

When Herbergers left and Von Maur…read morestores started popping up I kind of refused to shop here because I felt like it would give me the same vibes as Herbergers... and it does minus the sales that Herbergers had. For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.
