Here's my complaint and how it has played out thus far with Walmart and Walmart.com Customer email (09/10/2015 07:20 AM) I placed this order online at Walmart.com as a last minute gift that turned horrible. I placed my order online and was to pick it up at this local Walmart. Two hours later while picking up my daughter from school I still haven't received an email to pick up my item, but I was near the Walmart so I decided to go into the store's customer service desk. They did not have my order ready and paged the person who handles online orders twice, but he/she never responded to the pages. I shopped to "waste" time for about 45 minutes, then went back to the customer service desk and still nothing. So I decided to leave the store and again wait for the email and return later. Two hours later at 5:25 I finally received an email that my order was ready for pick up. I return to the store to find that my item was at the customer service desk, but my order was canceled and my money was returned to my debit card and will take 2-3 days to appear back on the card. I do not have another $90.95 available to repurchase this item this "was" needed by Friday 9/11/15. Response email (09/10/2015 07:48 AM) Hi Leonard, Good morning, thank you for contacting us. We apologize for the problems with your order 5231572-169472. We have checked our records and the store issued a refund of $83.46 for you. We kindly advise to visit your local store to check if the item is available for store purchase, so you can get the item before 09/11/2015. If I could give a negative grade, I would. This is the single worst managed Walmart in America! Don't even waste your time!! For the third time, I walked out and left a basket FULL of stuff at the checkout. They NEVER have enough checkers, and the ones they have simply do not care! When they see a long line, they literally slow down! I will avoid this location from now on. It's the closest Walmart Super Store around. But I'll find another one. This might be the worst place I have ever stepped foot in. The manager should be fired and their boss should be fired too! How can you walk in there and be proud of that disaster? The grocery department can't keep up with the demands. The aisles are a mess, and the checkout lines...WOW! One register open with a line of ten to fifteen, all with full carts? There's over ten registers there, and the one that's open, the person moves like a sloth. How does this make any sense? A 15-20min shopping errand, turns into 1-1 1/2 hrs. I've people in line ask the person at the register to please move faster. No one helps them out or makes an effort to work when they are busy. I understand it's Walmart, but show some pride in yourself and the company you work for, even if corporate doesn't. Here's one star, but it doesn't even deserve that! I am very disappointed at this Walmart. Seems like some employees are poorly trained in customer service. I saw one of the managers who go by the name of Derick yelling at a customer just because she was questioning him why the store was closing its door before the time that their website clearly states. I myself got yelled at by one of their employees just because in the eyes of that employee I was in the wrong line. If an item is locked because of security you'll need to wait for a long time to get an employee to unlock it for you (if you'd find one) lines are long and with only a few cashiers. Prices are often messed up, the sign says one thing but when you are paying it is another price ahh! and then some employees get upset because they have to go an verify the price. Also I'm not sure if it is the system they use but I often got charged twice for the same item and then you have to end up making the long line in customer service to get your money back. Oh boy I have so many bad stories in this Walmart. All I know is that I just got tired of it and decided to never come back to this store and won't recommend it to anyone. stopped in to get the movie John Wick 3. no one back in the movie section to ring me out so I go to the front. I go to the self check out because the few cashiers they have are all backed up. When I ring it in it asked for an approval code (I Think it's age restricted). The cashier who was in charge of all the self- check out stands was helping another customer along with the CSM, as the CSM (Jane Bonham) got done with them I asked her to put in her code so I could finish checking out. Her reply was "I have other customer I have to see to". Can't describe how wonderful it was that Jane couldn't stop for 30 seconds and put her code in to allow me to finish the sale. now I know why I stopped shopping here except for movies and snacks. CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW MUCH THIS SUCKED!!!!! maybe you should read your reviews because obviously I am not the only person who had a bad experience with your cashiers!!!!! read more

Purchased a clearance item it was $9.00 but rang up $14.97 I had already left but came back to the same cashier. The cashier advised that the on duty CSM Darlene would need to override the transaction with her keys but stated Darlene just walked away to the back but when she returns she can do it. It took 20 minutes and It was after 11:00 pm slow so I walked back there myself asked Darlene if she could assist me, but I was advised yes after she finishes conducting an audit in 5 minutes. Slowly, she strolled back up to the front stopped and spoke to a few employees, I'm still waiting,.,, service is horrible after 11 pm - the employees act like they don't want to be bothered and its on their time - no service just impolite , rude after hours. The lights in the store are dim the floors dirt all under the display stands the are fifty spots all over the floors If you need a cart half of the time are not in the store you go to the parking lot to get a cart. They are usually out of the desirable items, or just don't carry it any more. You're better off driving the extra 20 minutes a another town to go to a clean superstore The Corporate Leaders need to come here and clean this store inside and out because you are getting enough money from this area to keep it clean and well stock read more

I went in here for a socks and got sidetracked in the womens department. I quickly found two items and I thought better try them on first. Went to the dressing room at 10:05am and could not find an employee. I looked around, them waited for about two minutes then proceeeded to another department to find an associate. When I was able to snag one she told me there should be someone in the daepartment. When I told her there wasnt, she accompanied me back and low and behold there was no one. She then called over the intercom for _____ to come to dressing room. I thanked her then waited 5 minutes. By this time it was 10:30am. No one arrived however the phone in the dressing room rang and rang. At 10: 35 I found two ladies in the department and asked them if they could let me in the dressing room. Since they had no keys, they went back to dressing room and again no employee. At this point, i was losing my patience and asked for a manager. I was told manager was in a meeting but I could talk to a team leader. As a former employee of another Walmart, I knew it was customary to tell this story of manager being in a meeting. Typically, team leaders are in charge of the area, but the information rarely goes to management. I agreed to see the team manager. Someone finally came in and let me into the dressing room. That took another five minutes. I took the items and went to the cash register and while i was at the register, still no team leader. As i was leaving (11:45am) out comes the team leader and I let her have it about the lack of response, lack of available staff and general disregard from the staff. Ive been warned about this Walmart before. Although the stock is good, better than the one up the road, staffing is limited and management is very poor. WALMART YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER! read more

I give this Walmart two stars solely based on its location and access from my house. It appears every time I shop at this Walmart the aisle of littered with filth. The employees that work there, it's generally the younger employees appear to hate their job and seem aggravated when you ask them for help to find something. The self checkout which I always use because I generally pick up too many items when I go there, always seems to have malfunctions. Furthermore, the people who work that area seem to be the grumpiest in the store. They are reluctant to assist when the machine fascinations and you need help. Be prepared to wait in line, any day of the week, any time of day. Wanted to run in real quick before work one day at 3 am. Needless to say, I'll never do that again. Seemed to be about 40 people working there, but only one check out lane. There were 8 people in line ahead of me. So, I waited, and waited, and waited. Of course, something didn't scan right so the cashier called for a manager. You would think the manager would see the amount of obviously frustrated customers waiting, and open another lane, but no, she continued to waste more of my time by talking with the one and only cashier about personal affairs. Unbelievable. I was just there again around 1 pm on a Friday. (December 8th, so holiday madness) this place legit had 5 registers open, all with lines stretching for miles. The self checkout line was so long, I couldn't see where it ended. Why does the place have 30 check out lanes and only 5 of them open on a busy pre Christmas Friday??? Someone explain that to me?? This place is the absolute WORST! I left my cart and walked out. Next, they are always out of EVERYTHING!!!! I can't seem to understand why anything I'm looking for is out of stock. 7Well I gave 3 stars only because they had the vacuum on sale that I wanted. BUT. I do my shopping at nights. On this particular day August 26,2018 around 2 am there was 2 Lines open. One at the self checkout and I other one. Lines were backed up bad. But moved fast. Well my car was packed and now there's 1 register. Not many people. 1 lady in front of me. But there was 5 people behind me. I felt so guilty because of all my items but they each had a decent size themselves.. The cashier apologized for there not being any other register open to break up the line.. So...being I'm so dam nice. I told her..im grabbing another cart..grabbing a shit load of bags..I told her just do like Aldis does. Ring the item up.. put into the cart. I will go to my car and bag my grocery. I didn't wanna hold the line up anymore then what I was. It's a little after 2:15 am ish. Employees walking by and Looking..But NOBODY offered to help out this poor cashier or open another register. I find it to be appalling that this walmart has no curtosy towards their customers.. Where's the dam manager to this store?? Like do your job.. Everybody should be working TOGETHER AS A TEAM. . You should be making sure customers are happy and get them out as quick as possible. Get it TOGETHER over in Burlington. I think this newly re-designed Walmart Supercenter is just fine. Sure, the typical complaint is not enough registers open. They claim they can't get people to work certain hours or they don't show up. Wellll... pay more and give benefits, Walmart. Otherwise, I think the store is excellent. I get MUCH lower prices on brand name groceries and dairy products. The big produce section is terrific. The staff is almost always courteous and helpful - REALLY helpful. I've written to corporate about a few individual store associates who really went out of their way to help me. I can get my groceries AND other regular stuff in the same place. I save on all those things, too. The rest rooms are (pretty) clean and well maintained. The pharmacy is EXCELLENT! Want reasonably priced prescriptions? Come here! I do wish more of their products were made in the USA - like the old days of Walmart. It's so typical to bash Walmart, but, other than how Walmart compensates the employees*, it's really a great store. * Many of the staff are retirees, and the system works just fine for them. read more

Agree with the other posts on the service. I decided to swing by this Walmart because it was conveniently located off 295 & I thought I would avoid the crowds at 11pm on a Sunday night. While the store was not crowded, it took me 20 minutes to check out (longer than the actual shopping) because there was only 1 line open and the cashier was moving as slow as molasses! Very irritating especially when 10 employees are up front milling around (not sure what they were doing) & could see that the line was growing by the minute. Walmart, you need to shape up! Sunday 1/5/20. 2 pm. Empty shelves everywhere. Boxes of goods were blocking most of the aisles. People were looking through the boxes to find items. We waited in line over 1 hour, and they didn't have plastic grocery bags. This store was a disaster. At least the customers in line around me were not grumpy. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. First off when I went to the deli area the woman helping me couldn't remember what I ordered and was distracted by another customer that she gave me more than what I wanted so I had to pay more then when I went to go check out I waited in line longer than I was shopping, the cashier was ringing the items up and kept stretching, and looking around. The line was so long because he was taking his sweet time on everything, he kept getting distracted by everything.. Well, I got a call back from them while I was teaching class. They were supposed to get back to me and never did. Yes, I got ripped off for the items not in my order. I don't think I'll even go back to the store to shop there again. There is one in PA on my way home from work that I can give my business to. In the meantime, I tried ShopRite from Home pickup service this week and they were pretty good. They CALLED me when they needed to substitute items, were ready with everything on time, and there was no problem with pick up. What a relief. Yes they are more expensive but my time is worth something too. read more

Classic example of putting lipstick on a pig. This has been upgraded to a Walmart Supercenter but it still has the same clutter, long lines, and rude associates - just bigger. The saving grace is you can still get Walmart pricing without having to shop in this place. For me, location is great! It is conveniently close to my residence and I loved that it is now a Super store. However, with that said... I visit this store on a weekly basis, about 3 times per week.. And the service is consistently awful! Everyone is clearly unhappy, appearing to dread being there, hardly ever greeting or smiling at a customer.. If you catch them smiling, they are conversing amongst each other (co-workers) ...as many employees as they have working daily, when you need one, they're nowhere to be found or don't have answers which leaves you searching for another employee who lacks knowledge. The lack of stock at times is unreal.. So many times there are things missing on a weekly basis. With all the people working, everything should be CLEAN AND STOCKED CONSISTENTLY. The fruit/veggie section leaves a lot to be desired since they don't keep up with this section as well as other Super-Walmarts I have visited, before this one. Rotting fruits and veggies and fruit flies are not inviting anywhere, let alone in this section. There needs to be new management in place and a clean up of most current employees because the current situation is ruining the reputation of Walmart in this area. Shop rite is soon to open across the street and I personally would rather shop around for prices or pay more than to do with this. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a walmart store in my life! I placed an order at Walmart.com to be delivered to the store. I can't get help at the store. I called to check the status of my order and finally someone answered and told me they would have someone get with me. After 26 minutes of waiting, I finally hung up and called back. No answer. I have attempted to get someone to answer the phone on at least 4 occasions now and no answer. I let it ring about 50 times each call and no one will pick up the blessed phone! I really hope management will look at this and make some adjustments in personnel because this is absolutely ridiculous! read more

Tonight was my last time ever shopping here. I was completely humiliated by a security guard that has probably been working there longer than I've been going there, all because he does not know his job! How can he not know his job? That's like , what he is supposed to do ! I've been shopping frequently here for about 15 years. Monthly, I spends hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars. I buy everything here. This security guard must have seen me hundreds of times ! Tonight he stops us because he can't read the receipt, his only job pretty much is to check receipts. He thinks we haven't paid for a bike. It's clearly on the receipt, charged for and paid. He is a giant like 8 feet tall and had completely inflated his ego and was obviously holding me there to humiliate me or make him self feel overly important or something. My child has a cast on her leg, it's almost 11pm she is tired and he is holding me there because he thinks I have not paid for the bike. There are 9 items on my receipt. Besides the bike that cost over a hundred dollars I had a few inexpensive items like toothpaste and bandaids. I mean hello, when was the last time someone paid $200 for 8 toiletries ? Seriously! This is the walmart closest to my house so I seem to always go there by default however, I might be finding a new one. The past few times I've been the meat selection hasn't been that great and last night the deli counter! whew! it took us 25 minutes to finish our order. The deli person was super slow had to ask her co worker a question about every single thing we asked for and oh before she even took our order we stood and watched her put away the meats from the other customer verrryyy slowly. What upsets me the most about this specific walmart is prior to the store expanding, this walmart had the nicest most helpful employees of any walmart I've ever been in. If I shopped at Walmart (which was not very often since most Walmarts do not provide a positive experience) I would always come here cause the employees were so nice and friendly. Now that it's expanded I hate this walmart. Employees are unhelpful and grumpy (most not all). I was just shopping there for school supplies and I asked an employee for help getting a pencil case down from the highest shelf. His answer to me after looking for one lower "it's really high." And walked away. I assumed to get a ladder. After several minutes I found him standing at the front door. Walmart managers:. You need to inspire these employees to wanna do a good job.
