MOST OF EVERYTHING in this store in dynamic pricing how gross on the flip side, the clothes DON'T HAVE PRICES AT ALL. The pro for me is at least the workers will stay gainfully employed because after I get home & see my receipt for the miscellaneous prices items I'm just bringing hella stuff back TOMORROW I recommend leaving half your cart at the register for being too expensive since they won't even tell you how much it cost until you checkout‍ I won't be back. We shop at this location all the time and we are there twice a week. The staff is friendly, the produce is fresh and so are the meats and seafood. We use deli services and the deli employee cuts the lunch meat to our liking. For the things we buy, the prices are better here than some of the Walmarts we go to. Both restrooms are always clean and the pharmacy was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

Two things I needed today and was passing by this Walmart. They had one (windshield washer fluid) and not the other (cat litter). Otherwise, the store seemed to be in good condition. I didn't spot trash on the floor and while they've converted most of the registers to self-checkout, there was not a queue on an early Sunday afternoon. I've been to worse Walmarts and good ones. I honestly have never had a bad experience with this location. I've been going the last 3+ years. I also drive 7 miles (each way) past my closest Walmart for this location 93% of the time. I will say the bakery section is small compared to other locations but I take that into consideration when shopping here. Another suggestion- use the Walmart app to save time and money. read more

This walmart is the one I usually go to since it's so close to my house. I came at 10 am and was pleasantly surprised at how empty it was, and parking was easy since there were not that many people. This location has been going through some renovations so I did spend a lot more time in the store than I thought, just simply due to the fact that things have been changed around and not in their normal spot. The remodeling Is making the store look nicer, and the women's fitting rooms look much better than they previously did. There is a lot more space and more options in the clothing department. The front restrooms are unavailable, so you do have to use the restrooms in the back of the store. I'm not sure if it was because I went to the store early, but the vitamin section was completely empty, unfortunately. I did see a lot of workers stacking shelves, so maybe they just hadn't gotten to that section yet. I feel like overall, this location is getting a great makeover, and everything, including signs, is much easier to read and locate. They still have a lot of the same thing except everything is moved around. I will definitely continue coming to this walmart and especially now that their selection is starting to grow. read more

I have been shopping at this store for years and I'm very disappointed. I placed an order for pick up today and had two items that I'm shocked they even gave me. 1. Babybel cheese 18 count package has a big hole in it and only had 9 count in it. 2 Palmetto Cheese Whipped Garlic & Herb Cheese Spread 9oz the package top broken open. Tried calling the store got no answer the called CS and all the kept saying is the could do a refund and I could reorder it. Meaning i would have to go pick it up again. I did this order because I just got out of the hospital having surgery and could not walk the store. read more

Walmart Plus customer service is pathetic. My package never arrived in the mailroom and it was supposed to be delivered to my front door. I ordered tires at the end of December. A month later they were still "delayed," according to the Walmart app. I called customer service and after speaking with a nice lady, I made the decision to cancel the order and purchase tires elsewhere. My truck needed tires badly and I couldn't wait any longer. Yesterday, I noticed the money never got credited back to my credit card. I review my purchase history on the app and it tells me they were picked up on January 22nd! I called customer service again and was told to go down to the Walmart Auto Care Center. This morning I headed over there and from the start everyone was rude. The first man I spoke with (a tall older African American male) started interrupting me from the beginning. Eventually, he called a manager over. Her name was Vonya, a shorter African American female. She was not necessarily rude, but she was very dismissive. Finally, I am told they can not help me and gave me a number to another customer service. While I am at the store I call the number, only to be told the store has to refund me my money. I inform them that I am at the store, and the store claims walmart.com customer service has to do it. So I give Ms. Vonya my phone to talk to customer service. Ms. Vonya gave my phone back after a few minutes of speaking with customer service. Customer Service the proceeds to tell me I have to contact my bank and dispute the charge. I got pretty upset and used some choice words, while asking to speak to her manager. Her manager then refunds my money, or at least claims I will see it on my credit card statement within 10 business days. We will see. I give the store 1 star because of their attitudes. They acted like they were doing me some sort of favor. I am pretty sure someone at that store stole those tires. Why wouldn't they require an ID for someone to pick up items, especially ones that cost hundreds of dollars? I give their customer service zero stars, except for the manager. He was the ONLY person who was any help at all. read more

Now the store was a nice size to be in the cut. Now the do have a good parking lot but it does get full. People come here instead of independence and I don't blame them. Cannot be more disappointed in a Walmart store. The produce is never stocked and if it is the quality is terrible, smashed or rotten. I've asked the staff and they've said either it's the fact their understaffed or there are lazy workers. And neither it surprising. What can I say it's Walmart! There is a large shared parking lot. There are police officers present and they have cameras in their towers. However it's still Walmart and a popular place for incidents happening despite police presence and there hired security ( or it could be staff in a uniform). It's near several stores within walking distance if you don't mind the walk across the lot. The store is spacious and semi clean. Staff are friendly. The restrooms need some tinder love and care. They have a variety of items you may need at a low price. It gets the job done. Enjoy! read more

Wow... thought I had already reviewed this Walmart... but it goes to show how forgettable this Walmart really is. I've only had one really okay experience here, the rest have been horrible. The worst one was when an ex veteran started yelling racial slurs at me and he was angry that I was "invading the country". First of all he got my ethnic background completely wrong... and second I almost got the manager, but realized it was not worth it. The guy was so belligerent anyway, there was no reasoning with him. What was even shocking is how many people just stared and watched him yell at me (including employees). Aside from rotten customers, the store is a Walmart so I just get in and out when I absolutely need to go (or if I can't get what I need from the super friendlier Target down the road). This Walmart has a grocery store in it, I would not really recommend the produce, but all the other grocery items seem okay. Good luck getting through the parking lot. I think the concept of one way lanes (especially when the parking spaces are angled in the direction of the lane) seems to escape people when they are going to Walmart. I would much rather park far-far away from the front and all the crazies, but then risk getting hit by a car on my walk to the door increases exponentially. read more

I went to Walmart to get a couple of things, one of those things was a pregnancy test which I couldn't get. The glass where the pregnancy test does not have a help bottom so there was no way to get someone, we looked around and found a worker we respectfully asked "hey ma'am can you please help us here" she was in the other end of the Aisle, she did not even bother to come close to us to see in what we needed help with. Instead, she yelled, "what you need," I told her I need a pregnancy test she didn't hear me and yelled again "A WHAT". I appreciate Walmart for being a one stop shop but the environment messes with my anxiety! It's a little overwhelming and it's always tons of people . The employees are friendly and helpful . I'm at this location at least 2x a week. People don't think of clothes when they think of Walmart but I been known to find great end of the season deals. Sometimes just browse a section you usually won't frequent . You just might find something you didn't know you were looking for ! Early morning or late evening are the best times to come here. read more

Years later and this is still my closest Walmart but I continue to go out of my way to avoid it. Employees always seem to have an attitude and most (not all) of the people that shop here always have a bad attitude. Might just be a bad vibe at that Walmart in general. Ok, it's Walmart, and I almost didn't leave a review because everyone knows Walmart employees are rude. The chic in electronics and the chic working the self check-out are prime examples of why Walmart has such a bad reputation for customer service. I can't remember the last time there has been someone working in Fabrics to cut fabric for me -- the last time I was almost ready to cut it myself and leave the store and call the manager and say I would come back & pay for it when there is someone to help me. And it doesn't just stop at low-level employees. A former Walmart manager was working at the World Market in Cotswold when my daughter got a job there. *Before* she was hired she made it *clear* to the manager that she already had a vacation planned for a certain week. When she was hired and the week approached she reminded him of what she said. He said something like "I hope asking off doesn't happen all the time." My daughter gave her 2 week notice immediately. My daughter got employee of the week at a previous job and now is working on her PhD. So by being a Walmart-quality manager, he lost a great employee. read more

Not very happy at all!!!!! My husband and I occasionally have to work closing shifts at our jobs. Tonight was one of those nights. So after work we went to Walmart to get bulk items we needed. Apparently we were scanning too fast at the self check out for the likes of Miss Wanda!!!!! She loudly yelled "slow down" quite a few times at us as if to insinuate we were trying to scan items fast in order to steal or something!!!! Seriously?!?!?! And then to add insult to injury she checked our bags to make sure everything was ok...which it was!!! We called her out on her accusations only to be told she would "pray for us"!!! Really really trying to understand Wal Mart's corporate way of thinking. It's literally never any cashier's working but a million employees wondering the store all times of the day. The first issue is at 8:00pm why is there only ONE entrance/exit open? It's literally only 8:00pm. The next thing is why do Wal Mart have soooooo many cash registers when there is only ONE actual human being working at any of them? 1 out of 2 Self Check out bays are open and the one that is backed up and open is only accepting debit/credit or gift cards. That's fine if there were other options being that some people in America still use CASH to shop with. In order to use cash you have to stand in the ONE cashier's lane that literally have 12 people in it. How is any of this possible? How does any of it make sense? I used to go to this Walmart all the time when I lived near it. After I moved it seems like it has changed a lot. I went in to get last minute things for my son's birthday party and browsing to see what else to get for it and I felt rushed. I want to say you guys need to do a better job with your "secret shoppers" make sure they're not literally on anyone's ass making them feel uncomfortable and rushed out of an aisle. This store is much nicer than the one on independence blvd. I came here after striking out trying to find a space heater at the Independence location. I asked a store employee who was gracious to lead me to the correct section. She told me i would be lucky if they had them because they have already started putting box fans out. (In the DEAD OF WINTER...FEB.) Needless to say Walmart struck out twice with me in one night. Get it together Wally World. Tried the curbside pickup for groceries. First time no problems, but the second time they missed 12 items. Tried calling the store but no one answered. After calling 3 times with no answer ( the phone automatically hangs up after 5 minutes) I had to contact corporate. They were able to issue a refund but I wasn't able to get the items I needed for that night. Very good idea...very poor execution and customer service read more

Wal-Marts can be depressing, and this one only hovers around the line of depressing and bearable. Because it's a Supercenter, it's open 24hrs, so just in case the fine people of this area need something at 3am, this is the place to be. Everytime I ask something from an associate, I get nothing. No one really knows where any thing is and the associates in the home furnishings and decor department get slightly defensive when I ask if they can check their system for something. I guess I shouldn't expect too much out of Wal-Mart. My bad. My favorite aspect of this Wal-Mart is the fact that they have 2 Redboxes, one at each entrance. Yay for easy access. That's pretty much the only reason why I keep coming back to this place, that and because it's about a 3 minute walk from me. read more

This walmart is ok. I have to go in here often to get things for my job. Mostly everyone is nice and helpful. It does get really busy during the day but that's to be expected. I went there one night and my card wasn't swiping and the lady at the cashier said she couldn't type my card in. I asked if there was someone there who could and she said no. I asked for the manager and she entered my card in manually. I guess maybe this lady was having a bad day or on a power trip. read more

Just enacted a new rule at this 24 hour store that they close their customer service counter at 10pm and their dressing rooms at the same time. We arrived before 10. The young lady at the counter politely told us the counter closed at 10... At 957 and refused to help us. Pointed to a new "rule" that just went into effect. Poor customer service. Said we would have to come back to return that the cash registers couldn't do it. I'm used to not having the best experience at Walmart but really? Pathetic. read more

As a supporter of small business a part of me wants to not like walmart but seriously once you are in there you just have to look. This walmart is in a decent shopping area really close to home which is a plus for me. They have a little bit of everything... Need art supplies? Check! Garden tools? Check! Grocery? Check! Haircut??? Check! You can seriously live here. I usually come in here for on item and end up leaving with 10 or 15. Good or bad? Who knows. Walmart; a true monument to consumerism. What can you possibly conjure in your feeble mind that Walmart already hasn't thought of and stuffed its shelves with several versions of it? Nothing, that's what! Not a damned thing! As far as Walmarts go, this is about average. I work right next to one and live right next to another. For me, there is no escaping its wrath. It's all good thought cause between Becky and I we have 6 kids. Yep, that's right, six of them. We're like the interracial, dysfunctional Brady Bunch. The lot includes two bottomless feeding pits disguised as teenage boys (no joke, we've had to lock our refrigerator). So having a WalMart nearby is very helpful cause, let's face it, although pathetic, it is cheap. I know all the bad shit that Walmart gets. They ruin small businesses, the regulars are disgusting and bottom feeders, that the employees care for customers are hyenas for their cubs, blah, blah blah. But for a family of 8 like hours, you tend to overlook it's lesser points. In other words, I don't mind Walmart. This one falls pretty smack in the middle of average (yes, that would be the middle of the middle). The cashiers and crew are pretty lifeless (reminds of those zombie movie scenes where the zombies don't have anybody to chase and they just roam around aimlessly doing whatever they were doing before their undeath) and, I do agree with another reviewer, the layout of this seems to be ass-backwards. Also, compared to the one near our house (in the Whitehall area) this one doesn't seem to be as well stocked. Also, I took away some brownie points because they have a McDonald's inside (as opposed to a Subway like the one in Whitehall). This is particularly ridiculous given that right outside, in the same shopping area, there is a stand alone McDonald's!!! There is, or was at least, a heavily tattooed young girl (looked like a Plaza Midwood native) working the deli counter who was very nice and attentive... I've not seen her in a couple of weeks (I go often to stock up on junk food and other goodies since I sit in front of a computer at work for 8 hours a day). Aside from that, no other employee stands out. What else can you say? It's a Walmart, it's massive, it's generic, it attracts the bottom of the bottom, it drives property down, it crushes souls and numbs spirits... but alas, it's darn cheap! read more
