    a parking lot at night

Hands down - one of the dirtiest Walmart's I've been to in a while! So to be clear, I did not intend on writing any reviews tonight. The goal was to literally come and pick up a few things and leave. I figured since it was later in the day, there wouldn't be any crowds and I could just run in and run right back out. Tonight was NOT the case. First, I only came here for maybe 5 things; 3 of them they didn't have! Most (emphasis on MOST) of the shelves looked empty! There were all types of nats flying around the fruit- the cans of dog food (which was one of the items I came for) was banged up. There was only 2 boxes of feminine products that I needed - one box was smashed in so you had no choice but to buy the other. Some of the items in the isles were completely destroyed/messy yet it was still on the shelves. Even during checkout, there were two young ladies at the desk but the self service checkout department was a complete mess! Unfortunately, I did not take any pics because I didn't plan on writing a review BUT... if you can - avoid this store. You will walk out feeling like you need to jump in the shower. Even the parking lot was dirty and very unkempt. Walmart Management- if your reading this, you gotta do better!

I've been to better and I've been to worse. This Walmart is quite average. There are lots of things I would never buy at a Walmart. Anything fresh, like produce or meats and especially not dairy. But there's plenty I will buy here that is way cheaper than anyone else. Canned goods. Dry goods. Just about anything in the personal care and cosmetics aisles. All of that is just fine. Most of the shelving was well stocked. A few holes in some grocery areas, but they did have a few of each item remaining. Floors were clean, lights were lit, there were no long lines at the registers. My main complaint was that there were no shopping carts on one side of the store. I pointed that out to the lady working the service counter and by the time I left the store, it was stocked. [Review 11328 overall, 1105 of 2019.]

Y'all have to do something about these sweet potatoes, especially with Thanksgiving around the corner. This isn't the first time that I've come to this location and the sweet potatoes have looked like this. The sweet potatoes have even looked like this in the summer! These literally look diseased. I'll even leave and come back later on in the week hoping for better ones, but nope. This is disappointing and I'm annoyed. Do better!

If it hadn't been for Yelp, we likely wouldn't have found it and I'm so glad we did. Stash Pad is a little off the beaten path but not by much. Once you walk through the doors it's like a blast from the past. While we were looking for a few specific items, we were also just browsing around looking for cool finds. Every few seconds you could hear a "whoaaaa" or a "wow" or a "hey, come look at this!" from a member in our group. They had a good assortment of vintage clothing, everything from dresses to hats and menswear. They also had a good amount of costume attire, including wigs. We were specifically looking for wigs to wear to a murder mystery party later that night and we all found exactly what we were looking for. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. If you live in the area and you're looking for unique items, a piece to complete your epic costume or simply perusing around for fun, definitely add Stash Pad to your list of shops to check out. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and they even had a little pop-up shop out front. So much character, we loved it!

I got a great 80s mullet style wig there to finish of this year's Halloween costume because they posted it. The wigs are new but everything else is pretty much vintage. I was working on putting various patches on a jean jacket and found a great Cleopatra one that now lives on that very jacket. I also saw that they will begin doing a 'free sunday' where all goods they put outside are free for the taking, so if you need something or want something, go check them out. There is lots of other shopping near by like CLTCH (jewelry and accessories) and Borris and Natasha (new clothes and accessories).

As for the staff, I wouldn't say they were friendly tbh; wasn't greeted or spoken to when I first came in. Just looks and stares lol. Only one person said hello to me and that was while I was walking past them on an aisle as they were putting clothes on one of the racks. They have a decent selection of unique items. A couple racks are dedicated to popular expensive streetwear brands. Their bags display cabinet didn't have much in it really. Also nothing was organized by sizes, so it got annoying trying to find pieces. Found a couple items I liked though, but after finding those same items for sale online...I put them all back. The in store labeled prices either didn't match the quality or was just a little much compared to what I saw online. That didn't make any sense to me so when asked for further clarification she said to me, " oh just look around you can see that we already have enough of these kind of clothes". She treated my back. I was a complete moron and was very rude and nasty. I will never go back to that place to try to sell my used clothing or to do business. VERY RUDE staff. Especially the tall girl with the glasses that I dealt with I don't know her name. Did not like this place one bit!

I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately it wasn't quite the welcoming experience I was hoping for. The bookstore itself is adorable. It's on the smaller, cozy side, but it's thoughtfully laid out and surprisingly well-stocked. They have comfortable spots where you can sit and read or take your time deciding which books to bring home, which I appreciated. Browsing was easy, and I liked that they carried several books by one of my favorite authors. Their bookmark selection was also adorable, I couldn't leave without buying one. My experience with the staff, however, was a bit disappointing. When I walked in, there were only a couple of people in the store, but I wasn't greeted or acknowledged. The cashier seemed occupied on her phone, and I felt more like I was interrupting than walking into a local bookstore. I walked up to ask if they carried a specific book genre I was looking for, and the response was simply a blunt, "No." Since they didn't have it, I asked if she had any recommendations based on what I normally enjoy reading, and other genres I wanted to explore. After I explained my preferences, she suggested a few different genres and eventually walked around the store gathering several books for me to look through. Ironically, just as she was helping me, the store suddenly became much busier. I appreciated the effort she made putting together a stack of recommendations, and after narrowing them down, I actually ended up purchasing one of the books she suggested. A few of the recommendations were part of ongoing series, which can be a little hit-or-miss for me since I prefer knowing I'll enjoy the first book before committing to the rest. Overall, the bookstore has a great selection, a cozy atmosphere, and plenty to browse despite its size. I genuinely enjoyed exploring the shelves and could easily spend time here. I really wanted this to be a 4-star review because the store itself has so much charm. Unfortunately, the initial interaction with the staff left me feeling like I was bothering her rather than being welcomed into a local bookstore. Customer service can really shape a first impression, especially for first-time visitors. That said, I still left with a new book and a cute bookmark, so I don't regret stopping in. I just hope future visits feel a little warmer because the bookstore itself definitely has the potential to be a favorite.

It's absolutely beautiful! I could linger there for hours admiring everything. Every detail from the felt drapes in the dressing room to the artfully displayed merchandise was spot on. We peeked at a few of the price tags and can report that all of this handsome atmosphere certainly comes at a high price! So, if visiting Tabor to shop, make sure you bring some serious spending money. We'd been eyeing their Dinner Series for a while and finally pulled the trigger on the October one when we saw Bruce Moffett was the featured chef. We are huge Moffett groupies. They set tables up outside on the porch -- decorated with gorgeous embroidered table cloths, fresh flowers, beautiful place settings. So, while you dine in absolute style, the poor chefs have to prepare a meal with no refrigeration, no ovens or stoves, etc. It was like a real life version of Top Chef! I'm happy to report, the meal did not disappoint! It was open bar all night and they were incredibly liberal with the alcohol. The cocktail that night was a gin fizzy. Delicious. There was also copious amounts of both red and white wine. No ones glass was ever empty. The food was Mediterranean and also plentiful. We feasted on stuffed grape leaves, pita bread and some of the best hummus I've ever tasted, grilled fish and steak, lentils and more! It was all topped off with homemade baklava, flaky and dripping honey. Yum. The crowd skewed a little older (and richer) than us so there were a few awkward "socializing" moments. But, other than that, we had a blast and will definitely consider future dinners at Tabor!
