I don't know very many stores that have all their employees take all the best parking spots. Every time I go to the store even at 6 AM. The employees are all parked in all the front parking spots. Other than their employees parking in all the front parking spots, they keep the store clean and well organized. This walmart is okay. They do a decent job keeping the place clean for the town we all live in, but the staff is rude and has little to no human decency when asked a question. Ever since COVID hit, the staff has gotten even more rude especially when it comes to their mask policy. Visited store in 3/17/2024 at 6pm. All I needed was a bottle of liquor for a party I was attending. All the liquor is locked up in cabinets requiring a store associate to unlock, however none were around or answered liquor department call button. I went searching at 2 different times for employees to unlock cabinets and obtain needed product, however they apparently could not unlock cabinets as they went in search of the 'chosen associate' with key privileges... they never were seen from again. I tried yelling for help into the back storeroom... nothing. I walked to the front and a Customer Service Manager explained that not everyone had keys and i would have to wait for someone to come back to that department with said keys. I asked if this special employee could be called or paged, as I was on my way to an event and was running short on time. She seriously stared at me like I was asking her to donate a kidney. I left. So frustrated that now I'm 'mad' at wal-mart & refuse to give them my money for scarily substandard service and scarce item availability. Byeeeeee read more

This Clinton Iowa Walmart is extremely mismanaged. First they DO NOT answer their Customer Service phone. I had to call Pharmacy for a store question and she told me it happens ALL THE TIME! Next after pharmacy gave me another number to call about my delivery order the person that answered hung up on me! When I called immediately back I got a recording. So I left a detailed message stating I did NOT want the substitution they'd chosen. It was included in my order when delivered anyway. Plus grocery orderers BEWARE! They tack on a $15 tip to your order IF you don't catch it and delete before online payment! read more

Would rate a zero, made an order online for next day pick up. Money was withdrawn from checking account but only half of my order was there. If only half my order was there then only a portion of money should have been taken out not full amount. Fraudulent claim for next day delivery. This Walmart is a disaster. It is mostly self check out. They have cash registers but they rarely have more than one or two of them open at once. The store is filthy. The store is poorly stocked at all times anymore. They usually have several people standing near the doors to watch to make sure that no one is stealing anything. They check your register receipt even after they watched you come right through the registers. I was there today and they had two actual cash registers open. People were stretched out all the way to the rear of the store. Even the self check out was stretched out halfway through the store. I took my cart full of groceries and parked it in one of the empty cashier isles (it wasn't hard to find one). And then went up to the service desk and asked to speak to the manager. Apparently the manager was too busy to come up front. So I told the girl at the counter to tell the manager when she finally got ahold of him/her, that they could have the manager come up and empty out my cart and put that stuff back on the shelf. I try to avoid shopping here whenever possible because it is always a terrible experience. read more

They're open 24/7. This Wal-Mart isn't too busy (At all), while I was there. It's right by the casino, and hotels. Overall, it's clean and they have everything. read more

Clearly this Walmart DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN about the customer. 2-3 wait for grocery pick-up??!! Who's gonna wait days to pick up groceries, NOT I!! Been this way for about a month! If they go out of stock on an item, figure about a month for re-stock. There's a problem here that's not getting attention. You are NOT the only store in town!! I don't patronize a business that treats the customer this way. The other retailers will be getting my business and money from now on. Bye Walmart. read more

My only problem with the Clinton Walmart is you can only schedule a pick up one day ahead. During these times they should at least set it up for 2 or 3 days ahead. I will say the people that bring out the items are really nice and smiling. Very pleasant surprise! read more

I've never felt more unwelcome at any Walmart location. Some of the employees I've dealt with act like doing their job is a real inconvenience. That being said, I understand that Walmart is more about value than customer service, so it could be worse. read more
