They park dead center in an aisle and give attitude when you ask to get by. Like "excuse me" triggered them. Then there is a random spot check of your receipt on your way out. We queued up to have the gal look at our receipt but the guy behind us was too impatient and just rode on by her. I asked her "doesn't everyone get checked? Or is it optional?" She said it really shouldn't be optional but that's how some folks are.

The store is divided into a few different regions of the world, including Asian, Indian, African, Latin, and Middle Eastern, and there's good variety in each section. They even have some pretty good frozen options, for when I don't feel like cooking from scratch. If you haven't been to World Food Market, you should definitely go. They have tons of hard-to-find items, and even if you don't THINK you need to buy anything, you'll probably end up taking home something new and interesting.

This is about the floral dept. The first of May was my birthday. My daughter in CA sent me a…read morebeautiful bouquet of spring flowers. When I called her to thank her , She asked me to put her on face time so she could see the flowers. She was very pleased as was I. Everyday I poured out the water and filled the vase with fresh water. These were delivered on May 1. During the past 17 days I had to remove just 2 flowers. They had enough. Today after 17 days I finally had to break the bouquet down. I still have some greenery and 3 clusters of daises. I kept showing my daughter pictures of the flowers so she could see how long they stayed fresh. We have both ordered flowers from the big FTD florists on the internet and have not been happy for a long time . You never know what you are going to get. She said she just called the store and asked the florist in the store to make up a big bouquet of spring flowers. She was told the price would be $65.00 plus $15.00 for delivery. She asked if they could make it bigger than their biggest . They did. She was not charged a whole lot more but she and I are both very happy with Hy Vee flowers. For flower delivery here in Illinois or across the river I will definitely recommend HyVee flower delivery. I don't think I have ever been delivered flowers that lasted and still looked like a beautiful bouquet for 17 days. Very Impressed. Thank You Hy Vee florists.
