You don't find very many men's pattern comforters so I grabbed this one and promptly ran up to the checkout. So there are two people ahead of me in the checkout line. The first person had a cart load of groceries and of course there was something that wasn't scanning so we all waited for five minutes and nothing apparently got fixed. I finally asked the checkout person if she could call somebody else to open up another line. Another five minutes later, so this is a total of 10 minute standing in line with three people ahead of me by now there's five people behind me. Nobody else has coming up to open up any checkout lanes. Again, I asked the cashier is somebody coming only to get snapped at finally I asked for a manager and they said something about they only have so much staff and this is they're doing the best that they can why find this to be BS target can do better target has good products. Nice clean store but their customer service is very disappointing The sad thing is it doesn't ever seem to improve no matter what time of the day you're going to the store that's always gonna be a line and not enough cash register is open. I'm pretty much done with target

So much time in lines!!! Out of all product I went to get again. Was listed in stock online but any employee was too busy to stop and help. 3 employees was all I saw, and 2 were chatting at register. Once again, management outside smoking because they were unavailable. Zero value. Store has nothing to offer you cant get 50 percent cheaper at Meijer. Unless you support the bare minimum a store could do, shop anywhere else.

I can usually find everything I need and get in and out of the store super quickly, which is a definite plus for me. I haven't noticed the "zombie apocalypse" vibe in the store recently with boxes and items everywhere. It's usually pretty organized and shelves are usually stocked, even with shortages of products being the norm lately. If you've never been to an Aldi, bring your own bags or be ready to pay a small fee for paper bags or nicer reusable plastic bags. Then you'll need a quarter for a cart - you insert the quarter into the slot on the right side of the cart, which releases it from the line of carts. Then when you're done, return the cart and insert the little chain into the back end of the slot, and it will push your quarter back out for you! I'm never without my "Aldi quarter" in case I ever need to make a quick stop. Once inside you'll find a wide variety of pantry staples, seasonal items, "Aldi finds (limited time products)," deli items, frozen food, and a decent amount of produce. Pricing is typically lower than most grocery stores and you'll see a lot of Aldi branded things in addition to some name brand items. I personally have come to prefer many of the Aldi brand items over some name brands. The Aldi finds aisle is always fun to check out as you can sometimes find hidden gems there. I got a Calico Critters set for my niece once - those aren't always easy for me to come across. I love their seasonal decor items, too - including the cute wreath with fake pumpkins on it that I got last fall. Check for quality on these items, since it can be a little hit or miss, but for a seasonal item that I use once a year it's usually fine. Some things I stock up on at Aldi: canned beans, eggs, cheese, frozen food including shrimp, salty snacks like chips and popcorn, produce, and chocolate - they are known for having a great selection of imported chocolate. Aldi is also my go-to spot if I'm making a cheese and charcuterie board, as they have a lot of great options including lots of great dried fruits and nuts, meats, and cheeses. One thing that I always notice is that there are usually only ever one or two employees at the checkout lanes, but they are super speedy and it never really takes too long to get in and out of the store. The parking lot is pretty large for this Aldi and there is plenty of other parking nearby.

There is no customer service area to take returns; instead, you will be in line with people with carts full of groceries. The clerk will give you the stink eye and ask you if you've counted your bag full of Aldi brand cans/bottles rejected by its pathetic machine. Seems odd that a retailer would sell products with deposits and then make returns of deposit items so difficult and unpleasant. Why sell these beverages at all if you are going to make it so difficult for customers to recoup their deposits? (Hint: it's for the money.)

The Kalamazoo store always puts customer service first at least when I have shopped there. But in Grand Rapids, it seems instead of waiting on customers they would rather a woman just stand there and mark things down then serve customers. And management seems to care less that people are frustrated and angry . Is this how a customer service base should be in this day and age? It is no wonder brick and mortar stores will eventually be nonexistent. I would much rather order from a store online then experience this. If I could read it a zero I would and that all falls on management it's not that employees working aren't working their tails off.

There is a Meijer right across the street, Family Fare on the other side, and other restaurants or take out places where you can get food. Such an efficient placed location! This ALDI is pretty new - I believe around 5 years. It's pretty clean. People who work there are super nice. It can get pretty crowded during rush hour, but to be expected! ALDI is awesome!!
