I made a photo pickup order around 9am. Pickup time around 10am (like it's always been hence "Walmarts 1-hr photo" like it's been since forever). I paid ahead etc. Got a notification that it's delayed ... no prob. Went to the counter to ask an approximate updated time cuz - life. They said, "oh uh none of us know how to do it and the only person who does didn't show up today sorry." Cool. That seems made up. Customer service I go! I explain to the young woman at customer service the situation. I asked if there's anyone else scheduled for today so I can maybe come back and get my order. She's apologetic, understanding, & very sweet about it & asks me to wait for her manager of the store to do it so that I wouldn't have to come back. The "manager" of this place was awful. Lazy might be a better word. She treated the customer service woman like crap (snide comments/attitude toward her) and then proceeded to shoo me off. I asked if anyone else is coming in - she didn't know even though i was told she made the schedule. I asked for a refund - she's like "ya, we can't do that." HA bull. Yes you can. It's Walmart. I asked if she could just push the print button for the photos and she said no. Again. Bull. You're a manager. SO my point is - just avoid this place like the plague if you want a few photos printed - or a refund - or help with something. Hoping she finds a different career path soon. read more

This was the worst Walmart I have ever been to, extremely disorganized, empty shelves everywhere, lack of essential popular products I am familiar with in other stores, and an awkward layout that left us going in circles just looking for basics like chips and breads. Also the price gouging is insanity, over six dollars for a large basic chips is proof this country will soon have that economic reality check! A small redeeming quality is the exceptional Walmart apps that integrates payments and tracking purchases very well. read more

Alpine Walmart pick up is terrible!!! Received a text at 1:45pm that my order was ready. Came to pick up my order about 2:15. My pick up window was 2 to 3. Waited 50 mins for them to bring out my order. At 40 mins. I went in and asked to talk to a store director or the person in charge. They had some coach Darius come up to talk to me. He was a JOKE!! Did nothing to help out. Probably didn't even bring his dumb ass out there to even help his people. The hole time he was talking to me he looked like he didn't give a shit.. I give alot of leway to retail because I've been there. Never agian!! I would rather pay little more than have to deal with incompetence. And to top it off. Walmart asked for a review. ZERO STARS!!! I will honestly NEVER shop at a Walmart unless it's a FEMA situation. I ordered for curbside pickup at 1:30pm for an 8-9pm pickup window. At 8pm sharp I receive a notification it's delayed. Ok, not a huge deal, but I tried to call to get an estimated time. I get connected with someone with an Eastern European accent who sounded HIGH AF! Worst customer service I've ever had that I was almost impressed by how terrible and incompetent he was. Needless to say he was useless. I decided to wait and see if a completion notification comes through. At 9:48pm I'm notified it's ready. We arrive a few mins after 10pm and the shift lead said that the dept is now closed and they won't be fulfilling our order, which was ready to be put into my car, right that minute. They said their dept was way behind. You're the shift lead man. This was on you. Needless to say, we "requested" our order be cancelled. We won't be returning to this or any other Walmart unless it's a natural disaster. read more

Two stars because of the low prices, but you fail for grocery curbside pickup. It should never take over an hour for customers to get their groceries. Your system is seriously flawed. Had a return to make that was approved over the phone by management and 1800 Walmart customer service person. I had to go into the store because I had used the pandemic ebt card for payment and manager could not put money back without the actual card. So in I go. 3 lady's are working customer service and I'm the only customer. Stephanie was rude right from the get go. It's a $12 refund! Why should she be so snippy? She actually argued with me and talked over me! This is not the first time I have been treated rudely at this store. I went to the service desk to exchange a car battery that went bad under it's warranty period. I was told that Customer Service was closed. This was in the middle of the day. I wish I could give them a half star review but the one star will have to do. Honestly will never be going back ever again! The store was absolutely filthy, my shoes stuck to the floor throughout 70% of the store if not more and there was dirt and gunk all over the shelves! There were little bugs everywhere! Nothing was in the right spots on the shelves, I don't have the Walmart app so I didn't actually know how much I was really spending until I got to the checkout to pay. Basically every employee I saw was on their phone and had earbuds in not paying attention to anything. If I asked for help I was blown off or rudely scuffed at like I was stupid after they helped me. This specific Walmart is truly the worst I've ever had the non pleasure of being in. I refuse to go to this store. My complaint is in regards to online ordering. Received the tracking number and had that info confirmed. Got home from work... no delivery. Thing is I have to have someone to sign for it. Staff here has been very courteous and helpful to us. On Sunday we noticed there were a few kayaks--something we had been looking for. However, the ones they had were a bit expensive. An employee in Sporting Goods, Robert, saw us standing there and mentioned that they had a few more in the Garden Center. We went to look and found one we liked--but it wasn't showing up on the Walmart App or website as available--and it was scanning on the app at a different price as online. Robert was kind enough to help us when we went back to ask him about it. He helped take the kayak to Sporting Goods where we paid for it an it was held until the next day for us to pick up. I was looking for something in the electronics department. I found a worker to ask about it and his response to me was a quick, mean response questioning why I didnt ask the other workers in the department. The workers response was horrible. I tried to talk a manager but could not get one to talk to in person or on the phone. I haven't and will not be back to this store. read more

Super dissatisfied, bought two new tires from tire center was told they don't take appointments, went in today to get the two tires mounted"do you have an appointment"? Tracked down some store help besides the shop manager for correct price adjustment for mounting. Felt once they got me in they delayed the procedure unnecessarily because I sought and acquired help with pricing. I didn't want any "up sales" even though they seem to push as well as were reluctant to mount on the front with the new tires even those they were worn and needed replaced. Felt they were "trying to upsell"rotation which I didn't need as rear tires were relatively new. Who would have thought a 5 star review for Walmart.. 2020 really has been a doozy! Finally besides low prices Walmart you have finally stepped up in shopping experience! Albeit this is not in the actual store, which still pretty much sucks in comparison to the in store shopping experiences at places like Meijer and Family Fare. You have exceeded in the online grocery shopping experience. Your app is top notch, the ability for me to tell you I am on my way and you track me, to when I park and I simply enter the spot I am parked in. Every time they have had my order ready at the beginning or even before my time slot. The app notifies me of substitutes or items out of stock before I get there and I can say no to them. The wait to get my groceries once arriving is minimal despite multiple other cars being there. I have avoided Walmart in the past due to customer service and likely won't make it a habit to go in the store but WOW they blow it away with the free curbside pickup. I have used this service more than 5x time and every time they have executed flawlessly (what happened to you Walmart? This is weird!). Can you just fix the in store experience now? I travel 20 minutes more than it would take me to get to a Meijer and I hands down will keep doing it for curbside pickup. read more

I shop at this store a lot because of its location. Recently I had to return an item because it had been taped shut, I was worried that it had been opened and tampered with. Customer service is very slow. Everyone working there moves slowly and don't seem to know their business, always calling in a supervisor. Please train your employees! read more

There's often a very long wait as few cash registers are open with even fewer that service people with more than twenty items. It almost negates the cheap prices. They have pretty good fresh baked goods, more and cheaper than meijers usually. I've also gotten regularly friendly cashiers here too, which is nice. read more

Walmart in general is a NO-GO for me. I recently filled out a 5 minute survey online regarding my last photo purchase where my experience was beyond ridiculous. I informed them I'll never be shopping there ever again, nor will my family. The stores are overall dirty with uniformed staff that seemed bothered when you ask a question, no self-check out lanes (at this store) which makes it even worse b/c then you can't avoid their rude staff, the produce has always had bugs flying around, and their "organic" produce was molding and squishy the last time I was in. I'd rather spend a dollar more on EVERYTHING I purchase somewhere else than give money to the Walmart Chain. Awful. Awful. Awful. read more

This Walmart is terrible. Me and my Dad went there to find food items that we couldn't find anywhere else and no one helped us when we couldn't find the items! We passed many employees and asked for help but we were ignored. Also, the floors were super sticky and gross and had a lot of stuff on the floors that I don't want to know what it was. On top of that, we found some expired food on shelves by a few weeks! After that, when we were checking out on a self checkout, the machine broke down and we had to wait 10 minutes before help came! We were almost late to the event that we were picking up the food for because of this! And once we had gotten outside, there were quite a few people smoking right next to the doors and the smell was so strong that I couldn't breathe for a few seconds! I do not recommend this location especially if you are in a rush. read more

Is there no option for ZERO stars? I needed a new car battery so my husband called the Walmart Auto Center (Alpine). They told him they were not doing any more battery changes that day because they had a lot of tire appointments. So my husband asked if he could make an appointment to get a new battery installed. They said they don't schedule batteries, just tires. So my husband asked if he could just walk in. They said "sure" but they can't guarantee that it will be done because they are usually booked with tire appointments. So my husband asked how he could get a battery replaced then? In a nutshell, the only option is to walk in and hope that they can get it done between tire appointments. Okayyy.... so I call the next day at around 3pm to check if, by some miracle they have no tire appointments; they tell me the same thing. I call the next day, they tell me the same thing. So I figured maybe the best way to get it done is to show up as soon as they open the next day (as in 8AM'ish). I do that - there is one guy at the counter who is helping another customer who made it there before I did. I wait for at least 5 minutes for that to end. As soon as they're done talking, he says "I'll be right back" then disappears for at least another 5 minutes. Finally, he comes back. I tell him what I need and he says "I can't guarantee that it can be done because we have tire appointments." I say "Um, okay... you can't guarantee that you can change a battery? You can't squeeze that in between tire appointments?" He says "We can get it done, i just can't guarantee when." I say "So you mean I could be waiting here all day for you to figure out when you can change my car battery?" He said "yes". So I say "Never mind then." I drive 3 minutes to Autozone where a very friendly and efficient lady named Sara changed my battery in 10 minutes (possibly less). WHAT KIND OF SYSTEM DO YOU HAVE GOING, WALMART AUTO CENTER???!!! It shouldn't be so hard to get a car battery changed. Do you not like selling car batteries, just tires? Oh, and like somebody else mentioned, the parking lot was littered with TRASH!
