I found this Super Walmart very clean and very organized. I went in to get a few gift cards and they had a large selection of them....if you have someone who loves a particular restaurant chain, you can get them a gift card here...no problem... Panda Express Olive Garden Golden Corral Starbucks Burger King McDonald's Red Lobster Domino's pizza Taco Bell, etc... You get the point...you can also get a Walmart gift card as well... Never did I think I would be reviewing a Walmart, but I have to say I think this is the most pleasant location I've ever shopped at. It's not too busy and everything seems to be in stock. It's also a supercenter so everything you could need is there. Checking out is easy and there doesn't seem to be any crazy lines. Again it was an actual pleasure to be here. read more

Wow! After having a doozy in Pompano Beach's Walmart, I decided to come back to the original store on my free time. Needless to say, a complete 180 degree difference. Not only were there more people to assist me (worst case scenario) but without even needing me to go on, they basically said, "I can take care of that." And that's all, no excuses didn't even have to explain. They looked at the receipt, made no excuse as to why they could not help me, checked the problem, refunded my money because there was definitely a problem they were able to resolve no issues. I would definitely recommend coming and talking to customer service for any reason, wether it's just simple help or need for any resolution, they are here, more than happy to help. This Walmart is located in Parkland, right by the Sawgrass exit/entrance off of Coral Ridge and Holmberg. Nice plaza, Bank of America next door for convenience, and a subway located within them. Little bit of everything in case you need to make a stop. Let me just throw this out there and point out that not every department may be helpful but when it comes to issues, try up front because they just may be able to solve them. It's a Walmart so what can I say except that I stopped in here out of pure convenience. Nothing more, nothing less. I bought a boatload of cleaning supplies and a few candles and called it a day. I do most of my shopping online and I really don't enjoy shopping anywhere during the pandemic so my visits are kept to a minimum. The cashier was nice enough and the stock person helped me find my favorite vitamins. This location isn't bad and I have been in worse Walmart locations. I didn't purchase any food but I quickly went down a few isles to see what they have. I use Instacart for my grocery shopping but I did notice this store carried several items that are much less expensive than Publix. Example: frozen vegetables, pasta sauce and the spices. I found the spices to be significantly lower than Publix. Don't come here expecting a Nordstrom's shopping experience and you'll be fine. My advice is to get in and out as quickly as possible. I'm still wearing a mask even though I am fully vaccinated, the thing is you don't know about the other customers or the employees. The world is very divided now and not everyone shares my views and that's fine. This isn't the platform to get into a debate over masks and vaccines. I am ultra cautious due to health issues so I do what I am comfortable with. In my opinion, I would have liked to see more people wearing masks. Just my opinion. Even though this is Parkland, please be aware of your surroundings especially in the parking lot. I'll be back because this is a decent Walmart and I will eventually run out of cleaning supplies and random household items. read more

There is NOTHING worse then ordering a cake for a kid's party that is very specific and for a party that day only to show up and they can't find the cake. My friend asked me to pick up a cake for her at this Walmart. Walmart is definitely not my choice for bakery. I am pretty much a Publix girl, but Walmart had the availability of an Emoji cake mixed with cupcakes. My friend requested the cake be ready at 9. I arrived at 10:30a and the man behind the counter went to look. He could not find it. He searched high and low. Nope. No cake. Yes, I was in the correct store. He immediately got a manager. The manager also went to look. Nope. Still couldn't find it. Out came the gentleman to see what he could do. They had the "cake" style but definitely different colors. I sent a photo to my friend, who at this point was frantic. She said the colors would work but if it didn't have the emojis her 7 going on 8 daughter would be very upset. The manager asked the gentleman, "can you do it?" He said yes, he would. He got the emoji rings and placed them and wrote happy birthday. The manager kept apologizing and then told me the cake was on them. I never asked or expected. One the gentleman was done, he walked me to the door so I wouldn't be arrested for shoplifting. I am pretty confident they were happy that I wasn't able explosive towards them as this really could have made a little girl very sad. Birthday cakes for kids are the highlight. Thankfully my friend's daughter loved her cake. Everyone was happy. I gave the 3 stars because they made it right. They were super quick to figure it out, but I just can't give any higher because someone dropped the ball and they obviously need to revamp their process of preordering cakes. read more

I was going around Walmart stores looking for exercise foam mats. I had seen them on line but I thought I could find them in stores. I also wanted to check out fabric. This particular store is far from me, but I found it to be really neat. Everything seemed in order, and was well stocked. They had an extensive wine and beer area, larger than other stores. Must be the area. Unfortunately I did not find either the mats or fabric, but I did take advantage and bought some groceries and cute fashion jewelry that was on sale. I even found associates to answer a couple of questions I had. I would definitely come back if I am in the area. As far as Walmart goes, this one is very good. read more

Although in north Coral Springs, this has always been the Parkland Walmart to me. I have shopped here many many times through the years and have had good experiences. Some of the best shopping experiences have been during Christmas when we perused through the great selection of trees and other decorations. In fact, my children's first ornaments were bought here! I recently went to find something in particular, and although they were out, I found other products that I really liked at a lower price than at other department stores or outlets. One of them was a tray for our living room table. I also found great deals in the produce, pharmacy, and beauty sections. It may be a little out of my way, but it's one of my favorite "super" centers! read more

I ordered items on Walmart.com because I got their gift cards. I was gonna have it delivered like Amazon but they charged for it so I ordered for pickup. I got there and sat in their pickup area for 30 minutes and got an email that I received my stuff in 9 minutes. Went inside to tell them I never got my items and they told me to "get back in my car". I talked to 2 other delivery people in the lot and they took my name and never returned. I am out over $50 and I will never to to any Walmart again. Oh and I called the store for on line orders and it just rang and rang. Awful. read more

Not sure what COVID has to do with closing the garden section entrance and only having one entrance at the furthest point to go in and out of. Makes it inconvenient to wheel heavy bags of dirt through the store in effort to check out. If I were to have a guess the outdoor garden area sales must be down. The lines were limited and long for checkout, so I went to the self checkout area and the first register after scanning the first item said that the register won't take cash. Then wheeled over to another self check, No Cash accepted. Then wheeled over to a third register, No Cash accepted. I looked at the employee as she watched me wheel to each register and now headed to the fourth and I said the registers I tried do not take cash? Which one does? She replied "none of them. You have to go wait in line for a cashier". So off I rolled over to stand in a long line to pay while the self check out was available. I didn't bring a card with me. Now I know. Just used their online grocery order, pickup at store process. Super impressed. I got an email and text when the order was ready, and told them when I was on the way. The app started tracking my location, and when I parked in the pickup area of the parking lot (clearly marked by signs) the app asked which numbered spot I parked in, and the color of my car. Within 3-4 minutes an associate came out with my grocery order, and I popped the trunk. All hands off! And since everything was paid when ordered, I was on my way. The app also allows additions and modifications to your order (up to a certain time), and that worked perfectly for two add-ons. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I subscribed to the Walmart Plus service. For $99 a year, they deliver your orders to your house. In theory, it's a great service. Unfortunately, it's not the case since May each one of my orders has had issues with missing items, including receiving someone elses order . The driver says they delivered everything, but that's not the case. They take a picture of the bag (see pic) in front of your home and call that proof of delivery. How does 33oz of nutella, 128oz of vinegar, 24 oz bag of chocolate chips, a 17 oz bag of granola, a box of hair dye, Mini Muffins, 12 Count, 2 packages of frozen peas, 2- 6oz acai bowls, 28oz dawn liquid soap, 8oz greek seasoning fit into 2 bags!? It doesn't, and they will make you pay for it after spending hours on the phone trying to get someone to help you. This store is rude and will charge you for items you did not receive! We came here to pick up a birthday cake that was ordered earlier in the week. My wife ran in to pick up the cake on the day of the party, only to find out they never made it! It was not fault of the guy working there. We had to wait about an hour for them to make it. Even though they were refunding us the money, and giving us the cake for free, next time it will be ordered Publix! read more

On Monday, I placed an order for pickup on Wednesday between 6 and 7 pm. At 6:05, I received a text saying that the order would be delayed. After 8:30, I found out that the entire order was canceled. I tried to reorder but the next available date was Sunday. I called Walmart Grocery and the man said he would talk to the manager of the store. The manager said he couldn't do anything. Very frustrating. We are seniors and pickup helps keep us safe. At 9:30, I placed an order with Target and it was delivered at 10:30 this morning!!!!! Target it is for the win! read more

When I arrived at this store the customer service department told me they don't price match for stores but they price match online via Walmart.com and the Walmart app. Well, turns out they only price match via the Walmart app that's set to their store location. Usually all Walmart Supercenters are pretty much the same and they are not easy to distinguish. This particular one is located on Coral Ridge and Sawgrass expressway aka 869 for people who are familiar with the area. They have ample parking and 4 different entrances including 2 main ones along with one from the side door and one from the gardening section. They have lots of check out counters so usually you don't find long lines but in the last couple of visits I have noticed that they only open a few counters which can create a little bit of a wait. But you do have self check out counters if you don't like to wait which I don't use specially if I have vegetables which are not easy to weigh and scan. The Supercenter has everything that you are looking for. They have a big entertainment and electronics section even though I would recommend best buy as a better alternative. But if you are just looking to go to one place this is the place where you can find everything for your home. Staff is pretty helpful if you can find one around. The store is usually pretty clean except for when they are putting things on the shelves which is pretty standard for most box stores. I like this location because for some reason they have excellent quality of fruits and vegetables which is not the case for every location. 4 stars with reasonable prices compared to the competition. read more

We went for runner rugs. The sizes were all mixed up as compaired to what the prices that were posted. Because we couldn't figure out the price on the 3 that we chose we asked an associate for assistance. She scanned them all and gave us the price. Of course when we got to the checkout they scanned them and they were 10 dollars more each. I was livid. The associate at checkout saidthat the price is what they scanned and wouldn't talk about it anymore. We called for a manager who also stated that they are what they scanned. I called to ask some questions about Covid shots for my Mother and I since online it gives you conflicting information. I am also on some medications and I want to know if there was any problems with what I'm taking and the shot. At first I was talking to a nice young lady who put me on hold and then a guy picks up who basically told me he had no answers for me and that he and his wife have gotten the shot and it says lives. He told me about how busy they are. Not very good at talking with a consumer who has questions. We said good bye and he didn't hang up and I hear him tell a co worker that I was a fucking idiot and some other choice things none of which were accurate and is insulting to me as a person. I'm not some hyper sensitive person but I Don't appreciate anyone referring to me as a Fucking Idiot. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and guess who comes on the line. Yup the same guy it turns out Saul is the manager. In my 45 years of dealing with customers and being a person with over 35 years experience in management with retail and wholesale. I believe whoever made him a manager should be fired along with him. It was disgraceful to say the least he actually tried to tell me that what I heard him say about me was incorrect oh now I have a hearing problem I better get that checked out. It's insulting and beyond anything I've Ever experienced with someone who is supposed to be a Manager He is a coward for not taking responsibility for his words and He is the Idiot if he believes That I did not hear what he said about me. I feel as thou I owe him no respect or courtesy and I will be submitting more complaints up the corporate channel until this person is dealt with. read more

I like this Walmart more then most in the area, but they need to do something about the middle school kids being picked up here. If I need to come between 3:30-4:30 to get anything the parking lot is a mess and takes forever to get out of. Not really good for business. Not sure why management would allow this. All these kids should be getting picked up at the school. A long line there is understandable. It's not understandable or excusable at Walmart because parents don't want to get in car line like they are supposed to, and this is coming from a parent that does car line everyday and my children's elementary school. This store is located in a safe area and is easily accessible from the Sawgrass Expressway, via Coral Ridge Drive. However, it is in fact true that the parking lot can become a mine field at night, due to all the unreturned shopping carts laying about the place. I usually know beforehand the reason for my visit and exactly where to find the item(s) I've come to purchase, so staff interaction is very limited, especially when using the self-checkout kiosk. While Walmart's prices are generally unbeatable, I would advise against purchasing expensive electronics, or anything that had to be grown and/or butchered. We shop here at least three times a week. Prices are usually cheaper than other grocery stores. Remember the shelf prices because they are often higher when you get to the register. They will give you the shelf price if you call attention to it. Some times Items are placed by the wrong shelf marker as well. It's a good idea to check while you shop. You will save quite a bit by shopping here as opposed to Publix. Fruit and vegetables are generally fresher at Publix. read more

When it's 3 am on a Monday morning, the safest place to go is a Walmart! I am a fan of this one. They are 24 hours and have everything you need at one stop. I have a step counting app in my phone and according to it, one walk around the perimeter is approximately 1000 steps. Therefore, you only need to do 2 rounds to get a mile in. Push a cart for additional weight bearing exercise. I personally like this Wal-Mart. read more

I shop here literally every other night late. Tonight, for the first time EVER in this store, a female employee I think Fabian, actually took the time to DO HER JOB when the employee I originally had asked for help, proceeded to walk away saying she wasn't going to listen to me as I literally begged "please" at her repeatedly. That is when the young lady Fabian proceeded to assist me with the best of her ability. I have asked many employees for their help on several occasions without any more than the effort of saying "I don't know" which is what they ALWAYS say EVERY-TIME I asked for help from this Walmart, in addition to every Walmart I've ever gone to. I hate this place. Flat out. I have lived in CS for 8 years...and this place is in a rapid spiral down to the level of the swap shop. Good idea. Lets close it and make it the swap shop north. It is filthy everywhere. Parking lot with litter. Clothes all over the womens department. Not stocked with the "schematic" stock drawings taped to the shelves. (UH...when empty stock shelves) i mean like NO shoes for kids...no sizes in cheap sneakers you need for your kids to knock around in. I used to go here weekly...probably have not been here in a year. I am never going back. Over it. People dont care who work here. Walmart is a cesspool of filth and cheap chinese garbage. So sad. So bad. The employees at this store look like the are prisoners...the seem so distant and demoralized. One ass clown customer who had about 5 items in his hand wad"too good" to stand in the 2 lines of 18 customers queued up and raised his voice to shout at the tip of his lungs that he was in a hurry and needed to check out now. The 36 of us in the two lines who have been waiting for 20 minutes to check out...it could have been ugly. I think he saw the nearly 80 eyes burning in to his skull and shut up. Run. This place is an abomination to all things good in a retail store. After careful review if this place I found it difficult to give the establishment 1 star. The store is smoke and mirrors. Why? The well merchandised, clean stir appearance masked a lot of terrible faults. Merchandise in the Deli counter is not clearly labeled to inform consumers what they are selling behind the Deli counter. A few associates behind the counter require major customer service training and are not helpful at all. A lot if products I found on the shelves were 1 week past the expired dates. There are however other areas of this store that are refreshingly essential to shop such as the pharmacy, the toiletry department. The staff there are always very friendly and helpful. There are only a small handful of cashiers that I would stand in line for that are simply wonderful. Other than that, the place requires serious re evaluation by the Wall-Mart Corporate HQ. read more

This is a review of the curbside grocery pickup service of this Walmart. Being a guy who has a hard time finding just about anything in grocery stores, this service is absolutely amazing. I shop online at Walmart.com/grocery, schedule a pickup time, and then wait outside no more than a couple minutes at my pickup time and I'm done. No more wandering lost through a grocery store for hours or more only to ultimately give up. There's nothing easier than shopping online and I can actually find everything I need unlike the insane organization of every grocery store I've been in. Hell, just last week I had an emergency and had to go to a Publix to pickup glycerin for my Son's science fair project. Naturally I couldn't find it so I found an employee to help and he couldn't find it either. Well, two additional employees later and 15 more minutes of searching and we finally located a bottle of glycerin. I suppose if you enjoy shopping and waiting in lines then that type of thing is great for you. I hate it personally. Why would anyone shop for groceries the old fashioned way? I've posted this same review for another Walmart also and since I've used both this store and the other Walmart and had the same experience with both stores I felt it was fair to repost the review. read more

Their principal selling point is their liquor, which is cheaper than Publix. Other than that, there is an endless assortment of tawdry clothes, cheap lawn furniture, and useless knick-knacks, all of it being processed and shelved by the most forlorn and depressed group of workers one has ever seen. .....Save Money, Live Better...... read more

I been shopping here for about three years now , Lately I noticed that the prices on the grocery shelves are not the price that rings up on the register. I have let it go on a couple of occasions because I don't want to wait around for a price check. It seems that this is a normal practice here. I pointed it out to a manager today , and her reaction showed no concern. Today the Arizona Ice Tea was .28 cents more and Wesson Canola oil was $1 more than price on shelve. Imagine how many people who do not pay attention at the register have been overpaying for their groceries. I was one of them, until I decided I am done. Heads up to all the consumers, pay attention to the prices and what actually rings up at the register. Walmart fools the consumers by letting us believe we are getting a good price, when that in reality, we are overpaying. I'm so disgusted ! read more
