This place has toys at a good value for everyone. I'm a big fan of the board games because that's where you get the best value. I'd like to grab all of the stocking stuffers and all of the toys for Christmas from here for the little kids. This is a beautiful store with plenty of items to purchase. I really like this store. It's very cool. This is my second one I have visited for the first one was in Pompano. The staff year is wonderful. They have handicap entrance and the mall itself has handicap ramps. read more

Who was the Marketing person that named this chain? When it opened the concept was that everything was $5 or below... guess they never thought of inflation. It should be called ten below. This store is one of the nicer ones and they have a decent selection. I do ususlly stop in th check out the work out weights. They usually have heavier weights for under $1 a pound, which is a good deal. Even though the price points have increased, its still a fun store to shop and the quality is better than the Dollar Store. You can always find something here. read more

They hire people who just don't want to work. They have 6 registers and never open more than one. Once on line there was no employee to be found so I had to call the main number and told them I was on line but no cashier. Today, long line and when I got to the register I suggested that they might open another register when there's a long line. She hysterically laughed. When I handed her cash she just looked at it and said, "I'm not sure what you're doing." To management, why not hire based on merit. Horrible read more

Walking around Deerfield Plaza, I decided to go into Five Below, I know they are a specialty discount chain with a lot more fun things for kids and youths than for example a Dollar Store. I checked out some really fun stickers for one of my nieces, who loves stickers...their selection is great and the prices are right on... As background regarding the company, I can say that Five Below is an American chain of specialty discount stores that sells products that are less than $5, plus a small assortment of products from $6 to $25. This was a pretty good 5 Below. As it's name states (if you're not familiar with them), most items are $5 and some are below that price. In general, if something isn't marked, it's cost is $5. The items that are less than that have stickered prices on them. Mainly they have toys, crafts, some beauty items, some electronics, and candy. They are a great place to find Christmas stocking stuffers for the kids or an extra little something gift for any occasion. Or even a gag/joke gift. My husband also likes their t-shirts. They have a display on the wall with them. These shirts they have in adult sizes as well as for kids. I've also found a couple items that I've used for part of a Halloween costume in the past. They've just started getting in some of their Christmas stock but it didn't look like much yet. The aisles are wider and clearer than we have seen in most stores at this same time last year. So either, they aren't getting as many things they've had in previous seasons -- due to supplier problems -- or they just have not put everything on display yet. If you're looking for an inexpensive present or just a new toy to reward that good child, this may be the place. read more

Five Below is one of my favorite places to go for budget-friendly items which are decent quality and pretty useful too. The store goes above what I feel a Dollar Store or even a Dollar General because pretty much everything here is useful and better quality. Everything from clothing; athletic wear, shirts and more, toys, board games, cell phone accessories, snacks, home décor. I'm telling you, they have it all. The t-shirts are $5, well most everything is $5, if it's less then it's probably something like a candy bar or a greeting card, but most everything you're going to want to buy is $5 which overall is a good deal, but if you're like me- that adds up quickly! Before you know it you've got $40 worth of items in your hand. This location I liked because it was neatly organized and cleaned. I don't like that, "I have to rummage around" feel that these stores sometimes get. No real mess and the employees kept up with the large amount of customers coming in and messing things up. This is a great place to come if you need to decorate a child's room, a dorm room even, need a work gift exchange item, a toys for tots gift, some board games for game night, or even something for your iPhone. You'd be surprised at the useful things you can find here. I always find away to walk out of here with something, I'm sure you will too. read more

Came here a few days ago to get my cousin a small cute gift and check out the Hello Kitty plushies; which of course are out of sell, literal shelves just completely empty. Employee missing from the counter for over 15+ minutes, only to racially profile me at the register, seriously? This store is awesome. It's like a dollar store except all of the items are capped at $5.00! Each time I come here, I see new items. If you see something you might want, pick it up because next time it may not be there. Trust me, I am speaking from my own experience. Seasonal items are popular. This time of year expect to see a lot of pool floats, beach towels, plastic tumblers, squirt guns, beach umbrellas and a whole lot more. Christmas was insane! Games, toys, arts & craft products, greeting cards, school supplies, books, coloring books, headphones, ear buds; you name it, they have it. They carry phone chargers and cases too; for both android and iphones. Granted, they are not the best quality, but the chargers work well & some of the android cases were really nice. The downside, and you know there is always a downside, the lines are long. I mean very long, especially around the holidays. A few times I lost my patience and walked out after waiting, but I don't have a lot of patience especially when they only have two cashiers a few weeks before Christmas-on a Saturday afternoon! This is a great store to pick up stocking stuffers, last minute gifts or something as simple as a candle or beach towel. The store is organized & fun to walk through. Everything here is $5 or less. Its always fun to shop here! I bought my daughter wireless headphones here (that fold) for her backpack since she constantly breaks things; loses items etc. This was something easy to invest in for her train ride to middle school. I only suspect they will last a few weeks but that's ok with me. There's always candy, pillows and other trendy items that I end up buying my kids but I know that and its fun to look! 5 below is just that, anything you could possibly want to buy under $5 bucks. I have been to two of their locations, the one in Ft Lauderdale off of Commercial, and this location. Both times I was there on a weekend and both times the lines were really long. So if you are planning on going here on a weekend, have patience, or do what we did and leave someone in the line so that when you are ready to check out, hopefully they will be near the front. read more

I have been to Five Below many times and I never fail to find something. It is geared to teen girls so most of my purchases are for my daughter. They carry small electronics, clothing ,accessories, snacks and candy, greeting cards, novelties, books, games, exercise equipment, makeup, craft supplies and seasonal decorations. They have quite a large selection of items and best of all everything is $5 or less. At Easter I came in to grab some affordable items to pad my daughters Easter basket with. One fun find was unicorn farts. I am also fond of their Japanese snack section and especially the Ramune, a Japanese soda I have grown a liking for from my many visits to the Morikami. During the summer I come in for their fun and inexpensive pool floats and other beach items they offer. If you have to attend a kids birthday party this is the best place to shop. This is a fun place to browse and shop. I am glad they opened up in our area. read more

Never again. So many unpriced items, I was rang up by a petite young lady with glasses, who I assumed was some sort of manager, and something I found that was in the $3 section rang up $5 dollars. I told her why there's a bunch of $5 items in a $3 section since that's where I found it and she needed to honor the price that was marked down. She refused and was very rude. I tried to use the restroom twice, both times in separate occasions 4 weeks apart, and both times the public restrooms were "out of order." I find that hard to believe...this store has some great stuff but I would not recommend a friend going to this location. There's only one person working the register, long lines of waiting, customer service is not exactly the best and more importantly INCORRECT PRICING. read more

They have school supplies, sunglasses, food and drinks, sports equipment (small weights, medicine balls, back massager) clothing and so much more. There's a sweet young girl who works the evening shift and she's very very sweet and helpful! She even remembered me when I returned to the store! She's so accommodating. I wish I knew here name to give kuddos!! There's a huge selection and the store is always neat and organized. On our last trip they were prepping for a holiday commercial that would be happening in a few days so they even gave us a $5 off $20 spent coupon for the clutter!!
