This is probably one of the worst walmarts ive ever been to. The service is terrible and the bathroom is always broken in some way and always has a unbearable odor. I've found some terrible Walmarts and some pretty good Walmarts in my travels, over 150 stores in 30+ states and Canada. This is my third in Texas. This Supercenter is better than most but not as good as some. Today's visit found everything I was looking for in stock though I saw some areas in the grocery low on merchandise. I found a pillow (needed for when I try to nap in my car on the long drives), a thank you card (only $0.98!) and a case of fizzy water in the flavor that I like. There were of course not enough registers open but the self-checkout went smoothly and the attendant was not needed to approve any issues for me. Overall, it was an OK experience mostly because I did not need to interact with any associates, I knew what I wanted, and those items were in stock. Single mom of special needs son. Today while shopping at Walmart on Crowley Rd, my son decided to take his glassess off, instead of giving them to mommy he placed or threw them somewhere in the store. My son is non-verbal autistic so I can't ask him what he did with his glasses or show me where he placed them. One worker went out of there way to help me look as I was on the floor looking for these glasses and suggested they review the camera to try to trace his our steps. This happened around noon on 3/19/23. These glasses are expensive they are specially made for my son's sensory processing issues. If anyone seen these glasses or can help me please respond. After the loss of these glasses I had a breakdown at the checkout counter. I would like to thank the employee for helping me pull it together. I can hardly believe that I'm actually writing a Yelp review for Walmart. I actively dislike shopping at Walmart and intentionally and deliberately avoid it 99% of the time. This particular location is very close to where I live and I needed pizza crust and wasn't about to drive to the much preferred Sprouts, Trader Joe's or Market Street. This Walmart must think their customer base is comprised of robbers, pickpockets, scam artists and all types of sticky fingered criminals. They put bouncers at both entrances and exits to investigate shoppers at the exits. Worst customer service ever!!! Tried making a return for a seasonal item and they said they could not do it even though it was never opened in original packaging with original receipt. I called and two different managers told me no and simply stated it was in the policy but never pointed out where! I called customer service and explained my situation and they were trying their hardest to help. When manager found out I called he stated that if it was never opened there should be no problem. SO WHY WAS I DENIED THE RETURN 5 DIFFERENT TIMES?! Customer service desk has lazy working rude employees! Managers are the worst and only seem to be helpful when corporate is involved! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE yesterday I've ever encountered! Was having a problem ringing up at the register and the very nice young lady working the register had to call her front end help to answer her question. The back up manager (surely she wasn't a manager- I hope) wasn't clear on the exact answer, so instead of just saying that, she got sassy with The the employee working the register and myself and stormed off right when I pointed out something she knew was absolutely accurate... without responding. I'll be darned! Let's just say I was as shocked as the two people behind me that heard the entire conversation transpire! That poor young lady running the register was mortified and apologetic but it didn't change the fact that it happened. You know what Walmart? This lady needs a swift kick straight out the door! No kidding! I would not want her poisoning my business. In addition, why did WM go so far out of their way during the holidays with their massive marketing campaign to show they were cleaning up their act by finally improving customer relations and service only to go immediately back to their old ways after the first of the year?! This exact same location did a COMPLETE 360 during the holidays! I could barely pass an employee during that 2 month period that didn't ask me how I was doing OR how could they help me. I was literally flabbergasted! I felt like I was being "punked".... uhhhh hello where's the cameras, y'all quit messing with me already! This girl had the nerve to say next time park closer so we can get your order out faster. I'm sorry! Live less than a quarter mile from this store. I prefer to drive to HEB in Burleson. This store has gone to the dogs over the years and I've said so to store management and Bentonville on a number of occasions. None seem to care. Store is continually poorly stocked. There is obvious shop lifting going on continually. I have often found food that should be refrigerated or frozen dropped on dry goods shelves outside of the grocery area (I expect that all gets returned to refrigeration when finally found). Service is non-existent. Checkout is an absolute joke with those manning that area being half asleep. I asked one employee to check me out through the "self check out" (which I have no idea how to use) as the only two manned check outs were backed up and not moving. Her area was empty and she was only stocking plastic bags. She began to argue with me and only did it when I asked her if she wanted to sell my half dozen items or not. She did it but chose to drop/throw my cookies in a plastic bag. I have said it to many employees in this store and will say it here; Sam would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what his store had turned in to. Mighty sad! read more

I really, really, really hate going to walmart especially the one nearest me on McCart. YUCK! This one is a little further away and so much nicer to go to. Its fairly new and looks like it and the cashiers actually speak to you when you go to their registers. Crazy, right?! The layout is fine and the aisles are large and short. Been shopping here for months and for some reason my pet snake who we often bring to many places is suddenly a problem. Assistant manager asks what if someone has a phobia of snakes? People have phobias of many things beyond snakes and I think that was a pretty petty excuse. Along with me riding in the basket? I remember Walmart being the only place comparable to Florida, people can walk around half naked no shoes no shirt but god forbid the girl riding in a basket. I've seen multiple kids riding in baskets that have been probably heavier than even me! This is the only Walmart that has complained about me sitting in a basket and seriously those motorized ones suck honestly just get in our way of shopping. Why not sit in the buggy? I thought it would be really good to have a Walmart closer for friends and family, but that has not been the case. Some of the employees are an embarrassment! They are LOUD with an apparent "no concept" they are in public, much less at work. Not sure why management allows this. And some are not friendly at all!!! Where is good customer service!?? Why do you have all those cash registers and only use 3 of them!?? There are at least 6 people in all 3 lines......OPEN more registers!!! This is not just on one occasion. Also, aggravating STOCK the shelves!!......and properly, we will find the wrong product stocked in the wrong place, and the product that should be there is all knocked over shoved in behind something else. Of course this could be customers....but good/working employees will catch and correct this. Plus, they tend to be out of product often, which we have to go to another store anyway. Its ok - your typical walmart. I HAVE NOT USED THE DELI, BAKERY, OR CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK. Positives: Generally well stocked and clean. Close to home. Usually plenty of good parking spots. Negatives: Employees are not friendly, definitely will not approach you if you look lost or need help. All those closed registers even with long, long wait lines. Well, I saw the rating of this store but thought I would call and see how helpful they were. To my surprise they were very helpful so I place an order for a bike online. She told me that when I received the email that it was ready to pick up, just call them back and tell them I want it assembled and they will do it and notify when it is ready. Well, I received the email and the rest of it did not work at all. I called and was transferred back and forth to different departments and finally had to hang up to go pick up a child from school. I called back a few minutes ago and was told that the assembler was not in today, and I would have to come in tomorrow and talk to him. I can't come in tomorrow and she told me she didn't know what to tell me. I asked to speak to Nicole in toys, the person I originally talked to and was told she was not in and she didn't know her schedule. Now I understand the opt rating if this store. Zero customer service. Called again 2/19 and was told Nicole was not in and the assembler was not in and to call back. My temper is boiling!!!! Called back 2/20. Operator remembered my many calls and said she was paging Nicole. Waited 40 minutes and finally hung up. Called back and demanded store manager. Talked to a manager Gwen. She said she would call me back by end of day with info on assembly. This is the first time someone even took my name and number. Well, here we are 2/26 at 6:15 am and no return phone call as promised from Walmart management. I will be calling them back again this morning...,ugh! read more

I went to Walmart today, just for cat food and to pick up Insulin for my daughter (Pharmacy seems to be doing a good job). Walk in the door and the first thing you see is an employee carrying on a lengthy conversation with a customer in Spanish. No it wasn't work related. Every where I went there were two or more employees standing around just talking. Not working while they talked, just talking. That store is a mess with boxes in the aisles. I know they have cameras to spy on customers and prevent shop lifting (big joke here) but can't they see the employees who are doing anything but working. The associate in the pharmacy told us which aisle to go to get alcohol wipes. I don't know if she understood what we wanted but there weren't any alcohol wipes and there wasn't even a space for them. Had to use self check because the lines were all too long and there weren't that many open to begin with. Shame on me, I'm over 65 and I bought a movie. Had to wait to get approval before I could pay and leave. And that store was too warm. I was starting to drip by the time I left. Wake up Walmart there are still people out here who want some customer service. read more
