I really appreciate the help of William, Rory, and Rick at the automotive center. They helped me changes a tire from a bad rim to a good rim and later changed out a long valve stem, only ones they had in stock, to a short stem at no extra charge. I called ahead of time to get a quote for the tire change and balance. When I went to check out I was charged more than was quoted due to not adding the price of the valve stem to the quoted price. I brought this up and Rory corrected the price to what I was originally quoted. I appreciate that! I was very impressed when I saw William using a torch wrench to tighten down the Lugnuts on the tire. I was going to ask him to do this but didn't have to . This is the correct way to put on a tire. Most auto facilities use an air compressed impact wrench that can cause warped rotors due to using to much force. A job well done you guys thanks! read more

I like quick and easy. I am from another state but having Walmart laid out almost the same in every state makes it very easy for me to find what I wanted. And although the registers were all busy the self check out was open and I got in and out quickly. read more

This store seems to have a new business goal - to hack off as many customers as possible. They have once again set up that stupid rat maze in the personal area where you buy razors and soaps. How will insulting the customers bring more business or make people feel welcome in their store? They have stopped providing paper bags, dropped employees from the pharmacy and once again dropped the number of check out lanes they have. Sick people really feel like having to wait for their medications. Those smaller paper bags in the freezer section help keep frozen foods frozen until we can get home. Many people come from outlying areas to shop. I am sick of this store manager making all the customers out to be filthy rats and making me feel like I am a burden to them rather than a customer. read more

Horrible experience! Bought a brand new smart tv. Ended up having a manufacturing error, so I had to return it! I called the very next day they said they had a replacement for me. I told them I'd be there the next day to exchange it, they said to call ahead to make sure they could have it up at the service desk for me. I called today to tell them that I'd be there around 7:00 to pick it up, they said to call 30 minutes before so they could take it to the service desk. At 6:30 I called and told them I was on my way. They said they'd have it ready for me. I get there and they tell me that they do not have it in stock that I need to pick a different tv. I looked at the other TVs and they only had smaller sizes nothing in the same price range I'd have to go bigger for more money. I decided to return the tv completely and not replace it. I was lied to when they said that they had it in the back. And they were rude when I tried to get a price match for a different tv. Will be ordering replacement online. Will not return to the Dodge City Walmart. Due to the treatment I received. read more

This Wal-mart store is not one of the better ones around. Unlike the store in Great Bend, it's not well-maintained, the organization of the store seems haphazard, and associates are nearly impossible to find. The Tire Lube Express has TWICE "forgotten" to check my fluids during an oil change, and I won't be using them again. The ONLY thing that keeps this from being a 1-star store is its friendly, helpful pharmacy staff. And even on that front, there is one woman who seems to be put out every time someone asks her a question. All in all, I avoid going to this Wal-mart whenever possible. read more

This shopper's destination boasts a "corral" type area for cosmetics and other items such as deodorant and shaving cream. You must either purchase your items before leaving the area or have them placed in a clear plastic box to be opened by a CSR at the point of checkout. The entrance and aisles in the area are narrow, too narrow for two carts to pass each other at some points. The entire experience is awkward. The prices in this area are also not competitive with other retailers. read more
