Everything purchased online from their website is exactly as advertised. Additionally, they helped hunt down some things I specifically was in search of. Each item was wrapped and packed individually to ensure it arrived safely with speedy shipping. I guess I'm just flabbergasted and not used to doing business with such fantastic people. It was messy, but in a good way as the donations were of good quality and they're sorting process was on point. While the isles were small, and the racks jammed packed I didn't see anything with condition issues except for a few pairs of shoes. Organization was loose, some had size signage, other rows didn't, but diving in and digging thru the racks was part of the fun. Highlights for this location was the linen department. It consisted of several racks and was exceptional. I saw several quilts, homemade and commercial, including one for a little boy with different dump trucks etc on. Many were only $10.99! Ladies clothing, especial athletic wear was also above average. Toys were basically a mess but I was able to find 2 like new (but naked) Adora dolls (a higher quality less expensive version of an American Girl doll that usually sell for $60) for $2.99 each. Housewares were a mess also and actually wasn't as large of a department as other locations. Shoe department and men's department were small. They had a few smaller pieces of furniture (hamper, chair, kids table, etc) but no real furniture department but- they really don't have the room. No hand sanitizer or wipes for the carts so bring your own. Also during corona the no return policy is in place. I'll probably never get to this store again due to the location but left with a bag of goodies for $17!

The Scene: Easy to find on GPS, well-signed from the road, and plenty of parking in the gravel lot. Their greenhouses are massive and overflowing with plants, and inside the main building you'll find home décor, gifts, and seasonal goodies galore. Prices lean a touch higher than some other local greenhouses, but given the location and setup, it felt fair. The Mum Festival: Perfectly organized. Food trucks up front (grab a bite first, wander later--smart!), vendor tents sprinkled throughout, live music filling the air, and kids' activities that looked like pure joy. It was a warm, sunny September Saturday--ideal fall fest weather. The Adventure: While mums and pumpkins were great for the vibe, my main goal was something a little...unexpected. The ad mentioned camel rides. Yes, CAMEL rides. At a mum fest. At 40 years old, I had never ridden a camel, and I wasn't about to miss my shot. I called ahead to confirm that the "kids activity" was indeed open to grown-ups, too. Fast forward to the fest--I see the sign: "Camel Rides $10 Per Person." Ten bucks for a once-in-a-Central-PA-lifetime adventure? SOLD. Nervous, excited, and slightly in disbelief, I climbed aboard. And it was everything I hoped it would be--totally worth the thrill (and the bragging rights). The Food: Yummy eats from food trucks and coffee from Brewboxx to keep the energy high.
