Alcohol under counter could be reason?

They have call buttons that go no where. Again a guy and I have been here for 20 minutes banging on call button. No one comes. The other guy is screaming for help. How did these people get so rich. There is booze under the counter could be part of the reason

Push this button, and take a seat.

If you need to buy something they have locked away or anything expensive, they have it but you'll never get an associate to open up a case. Most all cashier lines are closed. Want a single item? You'll wait behind someone with a cart of groceries. Buy from Amazon. Way less hassle. Worthless.

They sell wood for our stove at a reasonable price, the selection is always decent for our needs including dog foods that are cheaper than the big brands and have better ingredients! The firearm guys know their stuff too, the three day waiting period sucks but that's out of their control completely. A good example was I needed a new chain for my chainsaw and I didn't know how to get the right one, the person who helped me explained and taught me how to get the right one, even showed me the different types of chains. I thoroughly enjoy when I can learn something new along the way to get a better understanding of a problem I need to tackle. Is their customer service good? Depends on who you ask, if you ask the entitled Karen who demands service the second you walk in the door then probably not. If you're nice, respectful and willing to possibly learn something from their knowledgeable staff then yes.

She said, "Well, I made it the exact way as I did yesterday.". I just stared at her. She rolled her eyes and said she'd remake it and snatched my cup. I'm probably not the type of person you'd typically imagine would seek out a personal stylist; a…read moreyoung software developer, nerd among nerds who had not done any serious clothes shopping in years. I did not really have any sense of style. Rare were the days I actually felt good about getting dressed. When I was introduced to the idea of a personal stylist and actually assessed my wardrobe, I realized I seriously needed one. Confronted with the challenge of finding the right stylist, I took to Google for some in-depth research. There are plenty of stylists in Denver, but when Google connected me with The Shopping Friend I knew I had found the right place. After I filled out the style questionnaire on their website, Michelle got back to me with recommended stylists on her team based on my needs. I decided to purchase a style package that combined a closet consultation and personal shopping spree and worked directly with Michelle. The Shopping Friend uses a discovery process to get to know you, and your goals before your appointment even begins. Despite the fact that I am generally bad with new people I felt super comfortable around Michelle from the get go. She is amazingly friendly, supportive, and just an awesome person in general. It almost felt like I had known her for years. The closet consultation confirmed my fears - I did not own a single piece of clothing that actually fit me well. My clothes were communicating a bad message every time I wore them. You might think that sounds pretty dire, but Michelle is a miracle worker - I'm convinced if styling was a chess match she'd destroy Bobby Fischer ten times out of ten. After the closet consultation was finished, we spent the rest of the day on a shopping expedition at the Cherry Creek Mall. Shopping in general is something that's always been a bit of a drag on me, but with Michelle there it transformed into something truly fun. It was like shopping with your best friend, except your best friend suddenly gained complete mastery of knowledge on style. Time was flying like getting lost in a good book, except I was one of the main characters in this story. Michelle knew what looked good on me and helped me understand why certain looks were good while others just did not work for me. The clothes she found for me emphasized strong features of my body type while minimizing the weaker ones. So many things were things I normally would have even considered trying, but once I had tried them on I realized that they actually worked really well for me. In the day I spent shopping with Michelle I learned more about style than the first 26 years of my life put together. Now I notice all sorts of details I never had about other people's outfits. I feel like Neo right after he took the Red Pill in The Matrix - I have woken up to an entirely new world. By the end of the day we had built up a versatile set of basics (appropriate both personally and professionally) in a style that better communicated who I am - and we managed to get it done within the budget parameters I had set before the appointment! The results are already speaking volumes. On a personal level, for the first time in my life I'm actually excited about getting dressed in the morning. I feel so much more confident about what I'm wearing, and that confidence is starting to rub off on my mentality in other areas of life too. Reflecting on it, it's as if my old clothes were weighing down on my energy like New Jersey Mafioso had tied cinder blocks to my legs and dropped me in the Hudson River. Now I have been freed from those bonds and I'm not just out of the river, but I'm ready to climb the Empire State Building. On the first day after our excursion I wore one of my new outfits to work and pretty much every woman under the age of 40 in my office made some sort of positive comment when they saw me, completely unsolicited. I got comments ranging from 'You look super snazzy today' to 'Did you lose weight?'. And those reactions were just from an outfit that is the most basic of my new normal. I had NEVER gotten any compliments on my style prior to working with Michelle, but it is a welcome change. Investments can be scary for some people, but you'll never regret investing in yourself. Your personal style is your first wordless communication to the countless people your path crosses with every day. If you ever feel you need help finding yours, or redefining it, I would highly recommend going to The Shopping Friend to help you through that journey - regardless of if you are male or female. From my experience with them I can confidently say that they are among the best of the best at what they do. I will definitely be going back as I build out the rest of my wardrobe!

I went in for "a few things."…read more By that I mean: shelf liner, hooks (plural and way overanalyzed), a step ladder, a potato peeler, and a very specific type of hanger. The hangers were the main character. Everything else was supporting cast. Some people impulse-buy...shoes. I impulse-buy organization systems. I have been known to remove products from their original packaging so I can place them into more aesthetically appealing storage containers. This is not a cry for help. It is a lifestyle and an intentional choice. Yes, I could have ordered everything online. But convenience wasn't the point. I wanted to see the products. I wanted to be seduced by perfectly arranged displays of...systems. And frankly, I needed to get out of the house. Back to the hangers. A very specific type. A very specific color. Blonde wood. This was not optional. I walked in like a man on a mission only to find the display empty. Again. This has happened before. I felt that quiet retail heartbreak and moved on, primary objective unfulfilled. There is something uniquely disappointing about an empty hanger display when your closet vision depends on tonal consistency. Then an employee asked, "Are you finding everything okay?" I decided to be brave and answered with one word: "No." She paused. That was clearly not the expected script. After a moment, she said she'd grab the manager. Enter John, manager, who found me mid spiral, comparing approximately 47 varieties of hooks. I explained the hanger situation and mentioned that this particular stock issue felt...recurring. He calmly said he'd check the back for new inventory. I returned to my hook deliberations, down to about 12 finalists, when John and the original employee approached me carrying boxes. And boxes of MY hangers. It felt like a retail miracle. I may not have audibly gasped, but internally? Full on happiness. They were gracious, apologetic about past stock gaps, and genuinely helpful. John smiled and said, "All you have to do is ask." Well, duh. Sometimes growth looks like saying "no" in a polite tone at The Container Store. I left with everything I came for, plus more hangers than any reasonable person needs, and appreciative of the customer service. I'll be back. Probably for drawer dividers.

They have EVERYTHING your heart could desire for storage, in all shapes and sizes. Prices are fair. Sales are great. If you buy online and pick up at the store, you get 20% off. I needed shoe boxes, so bought a case. Oddly, they seem a little smaller, or maybe my feet/shoes got bigger? Will compare with much older boxes currently in my closet. They do have boxes for high heels and boots, but I am paring down my collection of very high heels and adding more walking shoes. The shoe boxes were brought out to my car by a cheerful, friendly woman. This was a very easy process. I didn't want to go inside, because I had more errands and really didn't want to find something that I want, but don't need, lol. This place is a huge temptation for me!
