After waiting almost 4 hours at Walgreens, they told me it would take longer so I told them to send it over to Carters. Walgreens told me it would take them even longer to do that but I didn't care at that point. I immediately went over to Carters to give them insurance cards and all, and the lady was super nice. She had our information with insurance and medicine ready and on my way home within 10 minutes! I'm so glad I finally made the switch, just wish I would've done it a long time ago.

Twice I have had employee's pay what I lacked out of their own pockets! Two days ago I went to purchase some dog food and was $3.00 short. A customer stood behind me and the lady at the register was saying how I cared for my neighbors dogs. I said I would have to get the smaller bag but one of the employee's used his own card and mine to see if we could get a discount and then the customer behind me said he would pay it. He said it was his good deed for the day. Another time I was a dollar short and the lady working then gave me a dollar and she said it was her good deed for the day. We're visiting the quaint hamlet of Pulaski Tennessee on this late spring Saturday. The happenings on this day were of a more civil nature and consisted of a number of fair vendors setting up shop around the historic town square. Reeves Drugstore is housed in a string of old brick buildings that also line the square. Its charm is old school from the get-go. When I opened their front door and stepped in, it was like stepping back into my childhood. Immediately, I thought, dang, we had one of these in our downtown. In fact, three! Newberrys, Thrifty, and Woolworth. All had lunch counters, and all served up tasty food offerings just like Reeves. Reeves also has an ice cream counter. $1.75 for a scoop! If you're lucky, you'll get the young lady who scooped up ours. She packs it into the base of the cone before putting a generous scoop on top. My Butter Pecan cone was solid. There were plenty of pecans mixed in. Some in every bite. We didn't need any drugs on this visit. We were pretty high from the Sun Drop soda, Sun Drop cake, freeze-dried gummy bears, and of course, ice cream. But if you're in need of some kind of pill, tincture, or sundry, you'll be in good hands at Reeves. Quick Tip: The folks who work at Reeves are honest, hard-working townspeople. Polite as can be. If you're in need of some sincere southern hospitality, they'll give it by the bushel. Please give them your business, and reward them with a smile.

You can also upgrade to Boars Head meat, but I honestly prefer the standard deli meat from Publix. My observation is that most people order regular subs, or the daily special - but an employee showed me the best deal in the house! It sounds confusing, so I'll try to explain :) Subs & Sandwiches: You can order a "whole" or a "half" ... same like Subway. HOWEVER!!! - here's the fun part - you can also order a "whole" or a "half" on regular bread. If you order a WHOLE sandwich on "regular bread" - like wheat, rye, sourdough, or my favorite WHITE MOUNTAIN - they give you TWO WHOLE SANDWICHES that are generously sized :) IN MY OPINION, that's much more fun than any sub. The sandwiches are nicely wrapped and bagged separately. So really, it's like two meals in one!! The sandwiches are always delicious. It's a great, healthy option to all other fast food. I had been trying to find my EAS AdvantEDGE low carb/high protein drinks and the places that used to have them no longer do... so I was hoping that Publix would. When I moved from Murfreesboro to Shelbyville four years ago, I really missed having a Publix. I've eagerly awaited the opening of this one! From the time one walks in where you're greeted by smiling faces... and handed the latest sales circular... take note Kroger; you who have the worst customer service ever... it was a deluge of happy, smiling employees who were greeting me just like at ALL the Publix stores I've been in. One would ask "Is it because it's a new store?" My answer to that is a resounding "NO!" I've always had a pleasant experience at Publix. Never a grumpy employee to be found, and they will bend over backwards to assist you in whatever it is you need. Looking for my EAS product... horrors!... they didn't have it either. As I was headed to the deli to get a bit of something to eat on the way home... by the way, their subs were rated THE BEST by something or another... sorry I can't remember by whom... I was greeted by a customer service rep who asked how my shopping experience was going. I told her I was a bit perturbed that they didn't have my protein drinks. She, Carla, said we could attempt to rectify that problem if I had a minute or two. Awesomeness! Of course I do! She grabbed a form to fill out with the specifics of what I needed, and it would be turned into the manager and whoever did the ordering. I got a copy and they'd call me if they were able to get it and it arrived. SWEET!!! Again... TAKE THAT, KROGER!!! Headed to the deli area... woooooooo... so sad to be on low carb/keto for once. Must've gained weight from the smells and visuals alone! Got some unbreaded fried chicken wings that were mega delicious! Didn't mess up my meal plan at all. Prices are great. The checkout people are darlings... the baggers as well. I had to laugh. I had my purse, a tiny bag of chicken wings, and a drink... and was asked if I would like assistance to my car. i would like everyone to know this place doesn't give two shits about their customers! i had my…read moremedicine transferred from fayetteville walgreens where i had been a customer for over 20 years. my first visit was the worst experience i have ever had with any store or customer service personal in my 53 years. first off the pharmacist annie took it upon herself to cancel medication from the fayetteville pharmacy and said my doctor gave her the ok to do so. this was all during the christmas holidays, my doctor called in mmy meds on the 16th of december, i live 30 minutes away i had to come back every day for a week being told that my doctor didn't call them in . i would speak to my doctor and she would say she talked to this annie and i was all set !!i would drive 30 minutes to pick up and miss annie would say she never spoke to my doctor!! i recorded all conversations.!!!!she ever told my doctor to take me off a medication i had been on for over 10 years. no referral to a specialist nothing!!!!! this young pharmacist should be reported to someone who is in charge of pharmacist that think they are god! just for the record this is how we had friend with cancer die, he had just got out of the hospital and needed antibiotics that cost $200.00 because he was in the donut hole but before he could get in touch with the doctor on monday he was gone. pharmacist playing god kills!!!!!!!

I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.
