Every time I come to this location, it's never enough staff. Lines for both check out and kiosk longer than Thunder River line at Six Flags. Too many items locked and it's torture trying to find staff to unlock cabinets for items ! I will not be back here if I can help it. Police officers are available but staffing are not. read more

I just moved back from Omaha and I am flabbergasted by the blatant racism I experienced last week. I had an encounter with "coach" (the only person I interacted with that was not Black, besides the police). He was dismissive (delayed coming when paged and tried to walk off), refused to address any concerns (I insisted), when I began speaking with a cashier (previous good experience) he told me I was disrupting other customers ( seemed he did not want me to voice my concerns where others could hear/see), he den ied access to the manager, and he went and got the police to intimidate me, all the while saying he wanted to deescalate the issue. I felt stereotyped, discriminated against, and disrespected. I have vowed to NEVER spend my money where I am not respected. I could not believe he was allowed to treat a customer like this. I am still SMH and wondering how I got into this matrix. read more

Customer service is just bad! Only 4 open registers open for the entire store. No self checkout.

3/6/2025@6;20 am-Register 4 I waited in line for 20 minutes. The self checkout wasn't open. Only one cashier lane was opened. There were tons of employees just walking around doing nothing, but only one person on the register . They put the rudest, and slowest employee on the register. Her name is Renna and is suppose to be a lead. I don't care who she is and how old she is there is no reason to be rude. Especially when customers aren't being rude to her. She wouldn't request assistance and it seem like she was moving extra slow on purpose. Maybe it's time for her to retire, or put her in the back some where. Oh NO! During this location's (hwy 67) remodel, Management has decided to stop selling most vegan items and nondairy items or even vegetarian items. Management says it's due to lack of demand. I met a very helpful Walmart associates in my quest to find this information. Her name is India from the Bridgeton store who is there at the (hwy 67) store helping with the remodel. She says that her store in Bridgeton is not cutting back on their vegan and nondairy items. We won't be coming back to the highway 67 store. We Spend over $300 a week in groceries. We will move our business to the Bridgeton store instead. Bridgeton store is a little further for us to drive but we don't have any options but to move our business. If all Walmart stores decide to follow this pattern of no longer serving the vegan or vegetarian community, we will be forced to go to Dierbergs and Whole Foods and pay quite a bit more. I hope this doesn't happen. There's a lot of vegetarians and vegans in St. Louis and in North county. That's a lot of business to lose. Walmart should just adjust their item numbers to match the volume and interest in the demand for vegetarian and vegan nondairy items instead of just getting rid of these items all together! read more

Stopped by this Walmart location today. They unexpectedly have limited parking currently. One half of the parking lot is blocked off getting new pavement. The other half is blocked off filled with storage units. We asked the cashier when checking out and she informed me that the store is getting renovated and they're adding self checkouts on one side of the store. Other renovations added as well. The store open at 6:00am and when call store operator no one answers the phone, no recording or anything. I am a former Walmart employee back in the day, this was unexceptionable. This store or should I say company have lost it customer service and not good. Most people shop because of cheaper prices and some areas no other stores to shop. I was in the store yesterday and I only went directly to the Customer Service Desk to exchange some OTC meds. Apparently I left my cellphone at the counter. I started calling them at 8am and received no answer. I've been calling so long and evidently so much that the operators number is no longer in service! That same answer was given for the Guest Relations Number! I have never in my life heard trash like this from a huge multistage corporation. It's ridiculous to say the least! I am a handicapped senior citizen and it's difficult to get to the store. I shouldn't have to make a trip to the store for an inquiry! Ordered a same day photo print pickup specifically from this store because the website said they could process it. Had to pay about a 30% premium for same day. It's not a convenient location for me. Waited all day for order pick-up e-mail but never came and status never updated. Checked the next morning and order status was updated to Delayed. Called the store. It took 4 times being transferred to Photo before I got someone who said she could not find my order (even with providing the order #) and I would have to wait until the next hour when someone else was coming in to help. About 2 hours later, I get a call from the Photo Center - they don't even have the paper in stock to do the order at all, much less same day. She said I would have to cancel the order online because she can't do it - but you can't cancel same-day photo orders online. Now I've had to order from a different company and am 2 days behind further because of failure and zero communication. Absolute incompetence from end to end. read more

This Walmart began fantastic. Something changed about November/December 2017. The aisles were cluttered messes. I spent over an hour on the national Walmart phone line because I was so frustrated. I want to spend my money where I live! There have been some improvements in the organization. The aisles are better ... not as good as West County. Why?!?! Additionally, I just ran in to buy a few things. Nickki, the greeter spoke to the woman as she was leaving. I am a different race. I was not spoken or smiled at. Unfortunately, I purposely stopped in front of Nickki to collect my bags & leave my cart. I tried to smile at her but she looked directly through me. The store is full of associates but no one will open a lane to help customers check out faster. To top it off, the associate working self checkout starts arguing with customers about who can or can't check out through that lane. My mother is elderly. She needs a riding scooter. This location scooters are never charged up. Some are broken. With COVID it's important to keep them cleaned and sanitized. There isn't enough scooters to go around for elderly customers. We always have to find another elderly customer to ask can we use it after they are done. Following them outside to there car. Scooters run out of charge are left in parking lot or left in store isles. No one at this location keeps an eye on the scooters to make sure they are charged. Please open up more lanes. I have been shopping at 6:00 am since they started the senior hour. I went to shop this past Tues. the door was open got my cart and was in the back of the store and I am being called to by an associate telling me they don't open until 7am. She said they had stopped the senior hour. I told her they should let the shoppers know. I went to front of store and ask someone else which didn't know the senior hour had ended. I ask a cashier that was there she didn't know that it had ended either. She ask someone else and they said it had ended. The cashier said she was there and could ring my grocerys up so go ahead and shop. They called the manager over the speaker and when I came back to the cashier to pay for my stuff she said that it had ended but went ahead and checked me out. Then they had locked the door that I had come in and I had to squeeze though the doors at the other end. I looked on line and I don't see anywhere telling you that senior hour had ended. They were other people in the store shopping as well. I got up early so I could shop and be out of there before it got busy. I don't appreciate being chased down as though I am doing something wrong. I also don't know how you can run a grocery store and not have the things people are looking for. I have been there when they didn't have water, bread, and eggs in stock. That is unacceptable. I think if they don't do something about this store it isn't going to open long. I would hate to see it go because it is close to my house. read more

I've never seen a business be open so short a time go downhill so fast. The lines are excruciatingly long during times of the day when it's not even busy. Don't bother to ask for help: no one knows the answer to your question and won't even try to find the answer. And as I type this, it's 6:24am (it opens at 6am) and the employees just now decided to open its doors after an elderly woman with a cane banged on the door for about 10 minutes. I didn't know you had to knock in order to shop. The ONLY reason I'm here is because the nearest acceptable Walmart is over 20 miles away. read more

This Walmart gets worse every time I go there. I often drive to different locations or shop at another chain rather than shop at the neighborhood store. It is a real shame because it use to be a nice store. It isn't kept well stocked or organized. Part of the issues are the customer related. Part is the staff. Things always seem chaotic. If something is a bit out of the ordinary they don't seem to have the training or the will to deal with it effectively. Some people just shouldn't be working there. I realize that during the current emergency things are hectic. I am more that sympathetic and appreciative of the worker but unfortunately this is kind of the norm. read more

Horrible, horrible place to shop. The location at highway 367 is so unprofessional and ghetto until I would rather travel 15 miles to another Walmart. I was at that location on Friday and there was a cashier that was so rude that it was ridiculous. Standing in line she made the statement that a customer made her want to throw up.... she said it loud enough for everyone in the vicinity to hear! Everyone was looking around like, is she serious? I don't know why I continue to give this place my money. They pretend to offer services but when you need a service there is no one around to help you. I always have to hunt somebody down and that's quite a chore since all the associates scatter like cockroaches. If they see you they never make eye contact and scurry the other way to avoid helping you. Trying to get fabric cut is a joke. They have no bell or way to call for an associate. I waited for 5-10 minutes before someone showed up and she merely told me that she was going to help someone else first who hadn't been waiting as long. This is the worst store I have ever seen. I have shopped Walmart's everywhere and have never seen anything like this. At Christmas time when the store was packed, there were 5 lanes open on a Saturday night. They lines went all the way to the back wall of the women's clothing department. Now that it's not the Christmas season, things are no better. There are tremendously long lines especially on the weekends. Being a manager, I know the manager of this store is only worried about her numbers and not the customers. I suggest replacement. The customers should be the first consideration, after all, they are why you are employed. read more

When this store came in I thought it was going to be great. I was excited that I wouldn't have to go so far to find a decent store. Now they don't have enough staff. Those that they do have are very stressed because they are over worked. There are never enough checkers and lines at times go a third of the way back in the store. If I could give them no stars I would, not only can they not get enough people working on the registers to check out, they have lines of people waiting to and they just keep closing line down. I stood for over 10 mins waiting to check out and the lines never moved. Got fed up and walked up to customer service and asked for a manager. I got the look like they didn't even know what that was."is you the manager today?" "Nope" the pimpled face kid that showed up hadn't a clue. I dumped the products on the service counter. Told them how long I had been standing in line and all they are doing is closing them down. No response. I told them I don't their stuff and they can put it away I'm leaving. I don't have to spend my money there and with the service no wander people would rather shop at Amazon.com. Shop Local, if it is Wal-mart don't wast your money there. One other thing. Their parking lot is so small and they take up two spaces for every parrell parking Handie caped parking place, and don't have enough of them. Every time I have to take my mother there we can't get a Handie Caped place for her. I have to drop her off at the door and park. If I could give this store a negative star review I would. On February 24 about 9pm I purchased several things from this store. I spend over $90 and the cashier didn't give me all of my bags. When I was slowly walking to exit the store the cashier made not attempt to notify me I was missing a bag. When I got home I called to the store. After sitting on hold for over three minutes I hung up. My second call I was in hold for over five minutes. Once I talked to someone at the customer service desk they were not helpful at all. Their response was that I would have to return to the store and review the video tape to see if I wasn't handed all of my bags. I asked the Walmart representative if they would check with the cashier to see if they had my bag. That representative said they couldn't do that and I would have to return to the store to get my missing bag. I am very dissatisfied with Walmart and their personnel. It's shameful a company this large has terrible staff working at their company places and continues to have issues like this. I will no longer be shopping at Walmart anytime in the future. read more

Well, I usually buy canned dog food in the pre-packed 12 pack. So I'm searching the shelves for the dog food, which was all in disarray, everything was shoved onto the shelves, & I could not determine the pricing on anything. So I just grabbed a package and figured whatever the price no big deal. When I got to check out, the lady couldn't scan it, the barcode was not working, she asked if I knew how much, I told her about the situation and No I do not know. She got a manager, who then says "We don't even sell these like this, you have to buy individual cans". I explained that's how they were on the shelf and if that's the problem then they should have someone straighten it out but I'd still like to buy the 12 cans. The checker lady then says "Well you shouldn't even take them off the shelf like this, they stocking stuff over there & you can't be taking stuff off there".........and me still trying to be nice, told her nobody was back there stocking anything I just found them this way. To which she replys "Well do you want them or not ?".. so rude and especially with the manager standing right there not saying a damn thing, then just walks away. I just can't stand for people to be rude and they obviously don't care how their employees talk to people. read more

I needed someone to help me in sporting goods in the ammunition section, this requires the one person in the store who has the key to the case, first I waited about 5 minutes then I walked around the store asking other associates for help, when they realized that I needed to get in the ammo case they too started looking for the one guy with the key so my wife and I went back over to the area and waited another 10 to 15 minutes at that time being fed up with waiting around we decided to look for the manager, once again we ask associates of the store this time if they could get the manager for us, they seemed to make it difficult for us to get the manager while they were still searched for the guy with the key, a guy walked over to the area where we were but didn't announce who he was so my wife asked him if he could get the manager for us and in a sarcastic kind of way he said I am the manager, my wife let him know the she wasn't aware of that, he then said I saw you look at my name tag, like she was just suppose to know, by then we had been there over 45 minutes still waiting for them to locate the guy with the key, we found this to be so unbelievable that we had to leave, there was no way that I could do business with a business so unorganized and so unwilling to help. I went to another Walmart in St Charles walked over to the ammo section stood there for 15 seconds when someone walked up to us and how can I help you and proceeded to open the case and get me what I needed. read more
