The young lady that assisted me today helped me with finding bras that fit my needs and even helped get me fitted for new bras. They had a sale going on for their bras which were 2 for $59, which is a pretty good deal being that most of their bras start around $42 each, and 40% on all other clothing, sleep and swim wear. There is plenty of parking outside but it can get pretty hectic when the parking lot is crowded as it makes it difficult to maneuver getting out.

I started to browse the racks; I came specifically for a pair of dress pants. The store seemed to mostly hold casual wear and it was not very easy to identify sections of casual wear, business attire, etc. I'm not sure if it is just this location or all of Lane Bryant, but finding any business attire was difficult as most of the clothing seemed to be just tops (not blouses) and loungewear. Of what was priced, the prices seemed astoundingly high and not even everything had a price. As I browsed, I made my way deeper into the store near the counter where I saw two employees talking to each other. As I continued, they greeted other guests who'd come in that were of similar skin tone as them, but not myself or the few other women that had my skin tone. I found a few pairs of slacks that might work, so I approached the staff to inquire on fitting rooms. I was told to just pick a room and she pointed toward a corner of the store. I pulled a few pants off the rack in the fitting room also, where you hang what didn't work out, as it was quite full. That fitting room rack is actually where I found the pair that I ended up purchasing. I made the purchase solely in that I didn't feel like going to more stores and the pants I found should work. I am going to try them on again at home and they may be returned because I don't feel they're worth the price. I'll NEVER return to THIS Lane Bryant or ANY again.

I booked an online photo session for a head shot. I didn't expect much being JCPenney. Yet,…read moreJCPenney's managed to make it a horrible experience. I already have anxiety getting my pics taken. I got less than expected and overcharged. The person running the counter at the photo desk was not rude but looks like she hated her job. I understand. However, JCPenney's chooses to keep someone in the photo department who obviously doesn't care about her job or the product she produces. Again, I get it it's not the most glamorous job. Yet, people still come to work they are being paid for and at least try. I contacted someone at JCPenney and they offered a reshoot. All I really wanted was for the pics to be retouched without any further costs. Why? Because when booked the appointment I was told they would prompt me so they could get the best photo. She told me to turn my head twice so she could get two pics done quickly. When I looked at the finished product in a dark area of the shop they looked ok. However when I was able to see them on my phone I noticed somethings that could have been fixed if she just took a minute or two to do her job. I spent money to get makeup done and didn't have anymore time to spare for better pics (I needed them for a specific reason...time constraints.) I will also mention that outfit changes are advertised however the only privacy I was offered was blocking an open door with an advertising sign. No actual door to provide privacy. She helped me get the "door" in place once. I had to move the door each time I dressed. I contacted JCPenney about getting a refund for the pics or at least to fix them. They offered a photo reshoot. Why? I doubt the only employee on duty found a will to care in less than a week. I would have had to pay for someone to do my makeup again. This is why JCPenney's looks like a ghost town. You won't even fix your mistakes or offer a refund for bad customer service. I didn't expect to lose money and be embarrassed. Thanks for nothing.

Sometimes it can be hard to get an attendant to let you into the fitting rooms but once you grab somebody, they're super nice. I've made returns and placed online orders and store and they're always helpful. I also really love their clearance selection which sometimes goes up to 50% off of the clearance price. I am a little annoyed at urban outfitters the larger company because I bought a pair of pants size 25 and they fit really well and when I went to purchase a pair of pants in the same size they were way too small as seen in the picture. I don't know why there's so much range within the same brand and styles pants. But that's not indicative of the workers at this location just the company.

You'll have more boutique and locally owned businesses, or the big Dillards, Sephora. They are building a Dick's Sporting Goods here and a ramen place! And I think this is the only place that has Cheesecake Factory, Savage by Fenty, and Lush. So, it's not bad! We've come here often enough that it's better than the malls closest to us and the outlet, imho. There's plenty of parking, but because of the construction, you'll want to park in certain areas.

Saint Louis Galleria gets sadder and sadder each time I shop. When I come, I am always shocked with…read morestores that have opened and closed. The variety of stores seem to be getting lower and poorer. The Galleria use to advertise, "Where the Best Stores put their Best Stores". Now when I stroll the mall, I'm lucky if I see a familiar branded store. I basically only come for two stores now. I shop the Apple Store, which I am surprised is still located in the mall. I would have expected them to depart to a strip center somewhere else in the metro area. The other store I frequent is Tommy Bahama, but I don't shop there as often as I use, too. I can now just go on line and have it shipped to my home. My most recent visit, I could see the wear and tear of the Galleria and a desperate need for repairs and maintenance. As long as Apple remains a tenant, I'll keep coming back.
