This is a HUGE Walmart that is super clean and well organized. They seem to offer just about anything you may need. Lots of check outs and a huge parking lot with a gas station also. read more

This location has management that will not get involved with the. Handling of thei associates while on duty and inside the store. One of their associates approached a customer very aggressively and with verbal assaults and threatened violence and attempted to follow up with the threat by waiting with A few other store associates by the exit. I brought this to the manager's attention and they knew right away who the associate was. I figured that they would handle this appropriately but I was informed to call the police if witnessed again. WOW! I believe I will maybe shop another location or store due to incompetent management and safety. read more

Walmart is Walmart, so I never have overzealous expectations, but today was a reminder why this is not my "go to" spot. ***This review will be if the service department only*** I needed to have the oil changed and tires rotated on my sons car. I've been to this location before, and I was sure it their work. I stepped out of my car to be immediately addressed by a young woman I can only assume was an employee. She had on a uniform, but she failed to greet me or provide her information or position. As I stepped out of the car door, outside the entrance, she rolled down the window of the car she was seated in to inquire, "What you need done" - to which I replied and oil change and tire rotation - "you're lookin' at 2 hours and I need you to move your car to the back". It is at this moment I almost lost my sh*t. Rather than behave unbecoming or engage in meaningless by play, I stepped back in my car and drove away. I could have peppered her with a barrage of questions, the most obvious being "who exactly are you, do you work here, why are we addressing this outside of the building in the cold while you appear to be in a strangers car, why didn't you bother to greet me", I could go on, but I'll stop - just like I did when I drove off. I have a choice where I spend my money and time, and it will not be here, no ma'am no ham! read more

It's a typical Walmart but I do like this one over other ones in Fort Wayne. It's close to my house and the parking lot is easy to get in and out of. There's plenty of open spots up front you less you go at the most busiest times of the day. Inside they greet you and you. Price how clean it is and the guest services, which is right by the front entrance, is always well maintained. Meaning you don't see a lot of carts toppling over with a large amount of returns!! I go here for my pharmacy prescriptions and they are very friendly, fast and explain things to you if you're unsure of a drug. They order things for you if needed and they call your dr with any questions they can't answer. Grocery shopping is such a cinch too. The isles easily fit two carts and they're always clean, well stocked and I can always find a store associate to help me locate a product. I've never been mislead either. I've purchased clothes and tried on clothes in the dressing room area. I always find courteous staff and I have to admit it has been a complete mess before over there. Clothes strewn all over, carts in the way making the area smaller than it is, hangers lazily draped over piles of clothes and such. That drives me nuts but I'm sure that happens everywhere. Guest services is even friendly and fast. Overall it's a great wall mart. We come a lot. Lol. It's home away from home right? read more

Walmart on Maysville Rd, my wife and I visited there to purchase a charger for a drill they sell and in the isle where it should have been it was out, so we continue our shopping and low and behold there's the charger we need but even though it had a yellow clearance tag it was the same price as what it was labeled for in the regular isle, we took it to the front and the manager said she couldn't do anything about it and whoever priced it must have used the wrong color tag , whatever happened to customer satisfaction read more

Don't get your COVID testing here. On Monday, I went to Walmart to get a COVID test, they said through their partnership with Quest Diagnostic I would have the results in 2-3 days. At 2.5 days pulled up the Quest online site and it shows my results 'are ready' but not showing. I've been looking all day again today (Thursday). I reached out to prompt them to display and was told not to contact them unless 5 days have gone by. I travel next week and need to know if what I have is a cold or COVID - - will NEVER get another COVID test here. read more

If I could give a negative 5 stars I would . Their order pick up is very seldom accurate and even if you catch the screw up as you are picking up the order, they make you go to their slow, inefficient customer service desk to try to get you stuff. If I wanted to go into the store, I wouldn't be using order pick up. Their manager refused to talk to me. I guess I'll have to start going to Meijer and Kroger. read more

I just purchased their cubby shelving units. I bought 4. I am very disappointed! They do not package them in such a way they will be protected during shipping so when I received them the products were all damaged. There are gouges in all the edges of the shelves. This is really appalling considering how expensive they are. Walmart, you ought to be ashamed!!! read more

Worst Walmart in the area. The lady at self check out (Gai) hovered around my kids the whole time we were checking out and when we were done was going to accuse my daughter of stealing before I stopped her to tell her I was taking care of it. Very weird place with weird staff. I come here late at night and all the staff look at me funny like I'm not suppose to be in the store even though they are open 24/7 Not a friendly face among them up in this store even the manager gave me a weird dirty look. Kind of twilight zone up in here at night.... Did aliens over take the brains of Wal-Mart workers in the lima road store? Cause they are super strange. I would expect at least a smile or hello, nope just dirty looks and these Wal-Mart staff act like crazy people or something at night.. I almost asked for a manager to see why everyone acting crazy, but I don't think that will help... Prob just made it worse... This is the BEST Walmart in town. The store is usually neat and clean. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. The lawn and garden department is well kept with plants that are maintained in a good condition. The produce is okay. The deli is okay. The take & bake pizza aren't bad. I take my cars here to get oil changes because it's close and cheap. However.....be willing to wait at LEAST one hour....sometimes upwards of two hours. read more

the store has a very friendly stall when we are there shopping ( my wife has epilepsy) so she sits on my lap on the power schooter so incase she has a siezure I can keep her from hitting the flour, they always welcome us with a smile, we do mis their 24 hr service hrs. but 7am works just fine as well. read more

This location has gone even more downhill since my last review. Most of the time they only have 1 lane open. This past week, 2 weeks before Christmas, at 5:30 they had ONE LANE OPEN. The line backed up into the clothing department. Walmart does not value their customers' time. Also, half of the parking lot was completely dark as all of the parking lot lights on that end were out. Very dangerous. I will NEVER go back to this store. I have had enough of the low quality produce and their not valuing their customers. I will drive a little farther to go to Meijer, and I will pay a little more to shop at Kroger. At least the selection is better and I am treated like a valued customer. read more

I visited this Walmart to get my tires balanced and rotated, there was a wait so I decided to do a little shopping while I waited. As I was shopping I noticed an individual creeping around the toy section and didn't have a cart or any merchandise so I notified store employees about him, they seemed like they could care less about it. He noticed that I seen him acting strangely and crouch down and hid behind a pallet in the aisle. I purchased a car battery from Walmart 01/2012 and my car had stalled shortly after Christmas. I finally got around to taking it in yesterday, to replace the battery/see why it happened. I will say this firstly: the best employees in order from best to worst are as follows: The mechanic; Super friendly and informative. He explained everything, including the fact that he couldn't get my hood shut, which happened when I bought the battery originally. The associate; albeit, she had a very thick accent, was the only one working up front who knew what was going on. She was very quick to try to assist everyone that approached the counter. Since there were multiple customers that had carts full of groceries and checking out in the auto center, most of my beginning experience with her was her telling everyone she'd be with them in a moment. She was very very busy running in between computers and registers trying to assist everyone, and doing a pretty decent job of it. I met her at the garage door to bring my car in, and she was still just as helpful, but really busy. (This rating is a 2 star only because of the work ethic and attitude of this associate.) The manager; probably one of the most misinformed and clueless managers I've ever come in contact with. He was very flustered while trying to look up my information, which i knew was still in the system, having only purchased & installed the battery a year ago, and also had tire work done early last fall. Multiple times he ended up just being in the way of the associate that was helping everyone. She told him she'd get to it, just leave it alone a few times. When it came to checking on the status of my car, I could see through the doors that the hood was still open, so I wasn't expecting much. There were even more people at the counter by this time, to which the manager was not handling well at all. He wasn't speaking clearly to people, including myself, about what was going on with their car or order, etc. Finally he got to me and stumbled through, "The mechanic is writing up a report for you right now; he's almost done." Even though I could see through the windows that he was still trying to close the hood. It would've been nice to not have been lied to my face about what was going on. The lady from before told me to wait outside, and the mechanic would bring my car around. So i met the mechanic outside, to which he apologized for the wait as well as the hood malfunctioning. We talked about the battery problem some more and he suggested I get the alternator checked, since the battery was fine, just needed recharged. All in all the best parts of this experience was the mechanic and cashier. The manager, however, seemed to always make matters worse. Maybe he was on a power trip, i'm not sure, but he just did not seem qualified to a, be leading a team so haphazardly, and b, doing so in the automotive dept. A manager is supposed to be at the top of the knowledge pyramid for his dept and this manager was definitely on the bottom rung. Unfortunately, I Think I'll be returning to the Mayesville walmart to avoid having to deal with that team again. read more

Went into Walmart to pick up a few things, and when I got in line their was 3 people with baskets full of grocery in front of me, and at least 12 more customers behind me. Its was a terrible experience. I finally called them to open up some more lines. There was several disappointed customers behind me. This Walmart is doing a little better, but now their produce is paying the price. Many times we have to drive over to the older Walmart on Coldwater Road because their selection is better. Walmart has raised their prices to many times just one cent under Kroger's prices. read more

It might be all Walmarts but this one seems to be the worst at having checkout lanes available. They have the checkout yourself lanes. Those are cool except when you have a lot of things. This is where they fail. I can't imagine they couldn't afford a few more employees for checkout considering they are one of the worlds most profitable companies in the world. read more

This Walmart is probably the best Walmart in town. That being said it's still a Walmart. And It falls to doing the same old things that makes Walmart evil. It saves you money, but makes you feel guilty. There's never a feeling of being glad that you went there and there's never enough cashier lanes open. read more

As expected customer service is totally in the toilet I will never shop here again. The reason for the one star rating is that you can't pick zero stars. The store manager and the assistant store manager have no interest in the customer or in customer relations and definitely not customer service. Walmart uses child labor for the products that they buy they have horrible produce, meat, and they make you think that there are cheaper than their competition but they are not. Terrible experience from the online walmart.com and the store located at Lima Rd in Fort Wayne. I purchase a gift for my Stepson for $162 dollars online. The order was place successfully and about an hour later they cancelled my order. The online department stated it was no longer available. I spent an hour on the phone trying to get resolution from the online department and received no help. I reached out to the Lima Rd store because it still showed online store pick up available. I spoke to the store manager who refused to match the deal. If I wanted the gift I had to pay more. She stated that's "how they get you" to purchase items online. She offered me a small break on the price but not the complete order I purchased. I felt neither one really cared at all. There is no such thing as customer service. I will not be shopping at Walmart any longer. Target and Meijer are so much better with their customer service and prices. read more
