Placed an order for pickup. Was told on line it was ready. Went out and called in TWICE to get it. People came, got THEIR groceries and left. I finally asked a worker and she claimed I wasn't signed in. Talked to the manager and another employee later on the phone, but they obviously don't care at all for the inconvenience and wasted time of MY life. They can't even help me get a refund on the groceries I didn't get, or cancel my account. I have to make yet another call to another person who will probably do NOTHING for me. As the young man was scanning and putting by groceries in reusable bags on top of the plastic bag cart/wheel, I suggested he place the bag at the bottom so he could pack my groceries better. He told me I should put them on the belt in the order I wanted them packed. I said, "don't they pay you to do that" (bag groceries)? His response..."not enough". I asked to see his mngr. A team leader came over, looked in my bags, and placed them in my cart. No Im sorry or I'll take care of it... the checker also had to assure me he never had a complaint against him. I told him if he continues to treat customers in this manner it won't be the last. My $250 worth of groceries (weekly average) were a shambles. Sat in checked in spot with confirmation of order for over 50 minutes watching everyone else get their pickups and leave even those arriving after me.. I left and canceled the order, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

They don't have dairy free options and if/when they do it's not in stock. It's kinda a hassle on a regular basis. Maybe their pick up service will make up for it being a miserable store. Also don't try to tell anyone there's no stock available because there's no one around til it's time to cough up your cash. Unless Lauren's working, she's an awesome helper. read more

Uh,Walmart made me upset,so lazy, two days ago I was going buy these dolls for my niece's and other girls.... They were 20 bucks , marked-down to 11.yaaa!...so I get to check out they say there not on sale:( . I say: yes they are there is a big white sighn saying baby alive splash mermaids ,11dallor in 3differnt areas of store ... So she called toy department they say I can have 1 for the 11dallor cuz they can't find sighn ...they don't think there on sale...I told cashier they are being lazy ...are you really going to make a customer go get this sighn to prove this toy is on sale ....her answer is blank and say idk .. I say okay ... I walked BK to toy grab big white sighn ...found the guy who said they weren't on sale and showed him and said if this dolls aren't on sale then what's this sale sighn for? ...he said oh I don't got time to check prices as he went BK to talking to his other Co worker ..I went BK to both cashier who were involved and gave them the sighn and told them very load so everyone can here that me the customer went got this sighn to prove I'm right ...and guess what I'm not buying those dolls u just lost out on money ! I would have still bought them but the workers were acting like I was lieing well, prof was right there! read more

Why is it that whenever I actually need assistance, there is not an employee in sight?? I ordered a photobook online and had it shipped to the store. After THREE WEEKS I hadn't received a confirmation email that it had been delivered. Called the store everyday for 3 days and no one seemed to know where it was. Finally, after calling corporate and fed ex myself I found out that it has been delivered and signed for a week ago. The person who signed for it put it in the wrong place. Not to mention every time I go to the photo counter I'm waiting 15-30 minutes for someone to help me. Also called them to let them know that I had spoken to fed ex and was on hold for 45 minutes because no one would answer the phone for neither electronics or photo. By far the worst Walmart experience I have ever had. read more

I was in the Freeport store on Christmas Eve at about 11:30am when I witnessed a manager YELL at a stocker in front of all the customers! The stocker was not doing anything wrong, but the manager wanted her to do something else, NOW! She was rude and loud and several customers actually told the stocker how awful the manager was! This is no way for management to treat their employees!! The manager was Cathy Garrett, which I just found out today. I do not know the stocker's name but she is a thin blond woman, and the incident should be on the store's security tape! The incident took place near the frozen foods section. I'm not from here and I am accustomed to great customer service at my local Walmart. However tho isn't what I received in Freeport, IL. I went to the deli at the time only two young ladies were there in the back. They didn't acknowledge my presence for 5 minutes. One young lady saw me and said she'd be right with me. Another customer stepped up to the counter. At this moment the young lady said I can help whoever was here first. I stated that I was first. She was ready to take my order when the other customer said she just wanted to ask a question. She wanted to know if any one was working in the bakery. The associate didn't take my order but walked down to the bakery and started looking for some one to assist the other customer. I stood there for 5 minutes before leaving the store. This should be a teaching moment for customer service employees. Take care of customer in order as they come. Since this is the only Walmart in town, I went to Cubs deli and had no issue. read more
