This Walmart is located at the top of a hill less than a mile from Interstate 55. It has no Murphy fast station in its parking lot but, there is an Applebee's just at the bottom of the hill. This Walmart us usually has Summer items such as mosquito spray when other Walmarts are out of that item. They also have less outs which let's you know they have associates that work. read more

Update to last review. Today was the last time we will step foot in this place. We were treated horribly for just asking how to register for our baby. We were treated horrible at check out. The girl told us as we bagged our items we had to put them on the floor because she didn't want to deal with the logging in and fixing the issue. We will go to Grocery Basket or drive the 45 minutes to Batesville to avoid this joke. Last review: Horrendous service at online pick up/layaway. If you want your item you have to wait 30 minutes for them to track someone down. Even if you call ahead you will never have easy help. read more

Horrible service and work ethics. Cam in to get a tire patched and the techs working in the tires shop spent more time flirting with random drive up customers and the customers than actually working. Sat here for 4 hours waiting on my turn and clocked a total of one hour of f'ing off by a teach named Cadarius. This is NOT how they do things at my local Walmart and the manager talk at was hanging around working on his personal car should be fired with the rest of them. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I got lunch from the deli... chicken wing dings and cheese sticks. I specifically asked if the chicken and cheese sticks were fresh... "Eye roll...I just threw all the old food away. This is all just out of the fryer!" The food was dried out and completely unedible for me and my dog. Big clean Super WM, much nicer than it used to be. It is hard to see off the road, up set back on a hill. They have a good selection and average to above on the employees. Nail and hair salon. Garden center. Lots of self check out arranged in a rectangle, like many are going to. read more

I just experienced my first Walmart Grocery pickup in Grenada and I promise this was the best experience ever! Shay and Theresa were waiting outside for me at 8:00 at night, all smiles! They insisted I do not get out of my car, that they would take care of it. I really wanted to help them but they insisted. I work and travel EVERY DAY and this saves me so much time and is a great way to stay within budget, etc. Not to mention I don't have to worry about spending 2 hrs in Walmart shopping on my time off and bump into everybody I know, ha! I will always grocery shop this way. I personally, will go back and find these ladies and give them a tip. I hate I didn't think to have a tip ready. They were the best and super friendly. Very frustrating experience. I'm not sure why we still support Walmart with how they treat the community. The managers appear to be flustered every time I visit. The associates are hard to find and when you do find them to ask for assistance they seem annoyed and point you to customer service. Customer service also seems annoyed and were argumentative to a coupe in front of me when I went by. Flustered, I left and went to Batesville to find a more local shop that were very helpful. read more

Terrible customer service. I was charged twice for 1 item. Clerk said she couldn't credit me and I would have to go to customer service. One person working and 7 people in line. Transactions in front of me took 15 minutes EACH! Unacceptable. read more

Oh my goodness, I can honestly say that I generally do not care for WalMart because they are usually overcrowded, not enough cashiers and rarely is it a good experience.. well, not this time folks! We stayed at the Hampton Inn right across the street from WalMart, so we went there to get snacks for our ROTC competition that day. I was so impressed with the friendliness of everyone in the parking lot, in the store, the cashiers (and they actually are very well staffed unlike our local Wally Worlds). They had so much stuff that was interesting and fun to look at that we don't have here. I even found a nice, big cast iron skillet for only 14.97!!!! That's unheard of! We got everything we needed and some extras and spent way less than you would think. Our cashier was so pleasant and everyone was helpful. Just a great experience. I would definitely go back if we go back to Grenada. Way to go WalMart, this is how all of your stores should be run. Great management is my guess. Keep enough registers open so people don't have to wait a long time, decorate for the seasons and make it appealing! All WM's should learn from this store. OH and I forgot to mention, their shopping carts actually ROLL without steering into the other people or clunking so bad you abandon it and decide to tote your groceries. LOL great store! read more
