I have always been going to Walmart for the past 10 years. They have always helped me when i needed it and not much trouble happened

Really bad customer service. Everyone just stands around and doesnt want to help. Found an item with no price, asked for a price and they passed it on through like 3 different people, worker, manager, department head, and nobody could figure out the price. They looked for like 5 mins on their phones with no answer. After about 15 minutes of wasting my time, I walked away. Went to get other items, and look over and theyre just standing around doing nothing. This was on 8/15/2026 at 5:30 pm. Whoever is the floor manager there looking over the check outs needs to go. No willingness to help, looked annoyed because I distracted her from standing around doing nothing. Harlingen walmart is trash! Gonna stick with San Benito. read more

Today at 7:30 pm At self checkout in harlingen wallmart i was on front of the line and wallmart staff didnt called me to go to the available register instead she let another person that was back of me to cut on line passed me and then went to register. The person talked at the staff saying bad at me and walmart staff told to her "i know right" and ignored me. Thats kinda rude to the customer that was in front of the line and didnt help me to go to the self checkout and let another person pass and use the self checkout instead of me and shes not in front of the line. I was so dissapointed and will try not to shop at wallmart harlingen and will go to other branch read more

most workers here are slackers and everyone in charge just seems like they're legit not doing ANYTHING but watching the workers who do actually pick up the slack drown.(and I know you know the few workers I'm talking about that basically run this place on their backs without them you would fall apart) It's the same thing every time I come here literally I'm tired of seeing it. Everyone who runs this place needs to get their head out of their ass and actually do their part instead of standing there pretending they're so important like oh look at me I'm so high and mighty because they get an once of power. Do not use the automated checkout. They arrested a lady who noticed some of the items did not scan. She had actually come back into the store saying there was a mistake on her checkout. They wouldn't even listen to her. The manager called the police and had her arrested. My God! I won't shop there again. read more

The auto service specifically the tire service is the worst system and the worst representatives you can ever have. If you can go somewhere else do so, they don't accept responsibility for anything the store sells yo, including the customer service assistant management up to the workers. The cancelled my tire installation even with proof I had the appointment at noon, they expected me to wait 4 hrs. They couldn't tell me who canceled my appointment. So I wanted to make the appointment for the next day, they Tod me I had to take my tires with me. They couldn't keep them there. Do come here to get any service done, you will be disappointed. read more

Decent prices and a good selection. The curbside pickup is well run and easy to use. It's basically the same as any other Walmart.

I went into this store with very high hopes, and I was completely disappointed. I could smell produce, and I could see ugly little teenagers having fun with their lives. I hope you kick teenagers out of your store and never allow them to purchase anything again read more

i hated it I waited 45 minutes for no one to come to the isle after I called multiple workers and I lost my receipt and the lady couldn't even help us find it when we worked hard for that money and I have to return this now if they can't find the transaction. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Would rather go to a good trustworthy store instead of Walmart. read more

I only give this store 2 stars because of the employees that I have personally dealt with. They are wonderful people. However the management really needs a lot of work. Customer service regarding the telephone is horrible. They take at least 4-5 minutes to even answer the phone then they transfer you to the department where no one answers the phone. I sat on hold over 10 minutes and finally gave up. I ordered groceries for pickup and wanted to make a request. Never going to happen. Going back to H-E-B. read more

I wish I could give zero stars but ugh. I hate the harlingen Walmart. It's hot in there. For some reason they will only have have one or two lines open on a busy day. Management there really does not care about the store. Its messy and gross. The cashiers really don't care if you get your bags or anything. The person who looks at your receipt doesn't check it she just stands there talking to another worker. The restroom here are so dirty. I hate the harlingen Walmart it ruins my day. I had an oil change. I was about 4th in line. DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE. I signed in, left to get a few things. To my surprise, it took about 25 min... But how is that possible with 3 to 4 cars ahead of me, you ask? It isn't. My oil change light still rang, I ignored it for a few days. It never shut off. A little less than a month later, I hit a cement block, my oil tank popped and gushed BLACK A** F**K OIL. BLACK. I've driven no more than 200 miles. In city. How is it black? BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CHANGE IT. DO NOT-- I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. It's all a lie!!! I'm sticking with Pepboys. Walmart Tire & Lube center was not worth my cash. People, listen to me. That black oil gushing from under my car said it all. Ridiculous. read more

This Walmart always smells bad. Also, if you plan on going to the Money Center, expect to wait a long while. My experience: I asked a manager if they could get a second cashier...it never happened as long as I was there (20min). I'm guessing their short staffed. read more

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! If you can drive to the San Benito Store. Today they had 2 registers open. Customers were 30-40 people deep and self checkout was all the way to the produce section. Never again. Poor older people had to stand in line forever. Managers were nowhere to be found. read more

The go-to joint for 'what am I going to do at midnight when I'm bored.' The produce section is a bit of a downer. I always go across the street to HEB for perkier vegetables, and the fruit doesn't seem to be any cheaper at Walmart. read more

The store is excellent but remember you have to sometimes wait on certain departments like sports for someone to actually help you. The prices cannot be beat unless you go to Academy Sports which have comparable pricing like Walmart. Still the edge goes to Walmart. read more

This is a very conveniently located Walmart in downtown Harlingen. However EXPECT to spend more than half an hour in the checkout line. Doesn't seem to matter what day or time you go. There's never enough cashiers on. read more
