For todays visit I just needed tobget lunch and dinner for the next two days, as I will be traveling back home on Monday. This the most unprofessional store that I have been in. Here it is six thirty-four a m in the morning and all I need is some ink for my printer. Walked to the back waited patiently and when no one came asked some one to help me. Well the only one was a young guy who tried but I just walked all the way to the front at customer service and the young lady spoke over the intercom for some assistance. Happy Thanksgiving, Walmart shoppers. I would like to praise the organization for this year's Black Friday event. They took good security and safety measures. Customers were cordial and going through the store orderly. I came in during the day on thanksgiving day to pick up some household stuff and noticed the crates wrapped with plastic. Guards told people not to uncover them until 6 pm. I was able to plot my way around to save time navigating during the event. I spent few hours to shop online a week before. I really didn't want to buy much. But I ended up getting way more than I planned. Few items may go back because of my impulsive shopping habit. Economy is good. So shop on. read more

2 weeks ago, my husband went to Wal-Mart. He is a 100 percent disabled veteran, He has issues with his knees, hips, back etc. He did not want to walk around going down multiple aisles, so he was looking for a Wal-Mart associate for assistance. He went to multiple associates and they told him no English, so when he see this lady associate he asked do you speak English and she went off on him with attitude saying he is rude and you don't ask me if I speak English etc., my husband told her I have talk to multiple associates and they don't speak English or don't understand they keep sending me to wrong aisle, she told him he need to go learn Spanish, He was so upset he walked off just to avoid the situation escalating he called me and I tried to calm him down he has depression anxiety and this was sending over the top, He did not think anyone would believe him so he went back with his phone camera as proof that the lady did not help him and told him he need to go learn Spanish. He took to manager Kim, she was nice and told him just wait I will get you what you wanted to buy, but this is still bothering him. He goes to Wal-Mart once or twice a week, but never this location, He has never been treated this way. She tried to tell him how he is supposed to ask for help, I could hear it in his voice he was in distress. Now he is not sure if the employees were saying no English to discriminate against him or if Wal-Mart is hiring people who speak no English either way this is not a good look. Wal-Mart computer generated email like everything was okay, but it's not okay or acceptable. Specifically the pharmacy- wow so unbelievable. Are nice staff- yes the girl that takes your prescription and the other staff seem nice enough. my problem- they never have my meds in stock and have to order them which typically I order a few days early- they hold it till they can use my insurance. But some glitch with insurance and they don't know what is going on, or try to find out- just "delayed" and I happen to use the last today and can't just stop taking the meds cold turkey. They are just NOT helpful, I know they are busy but nothing "neighborhood" about them. I called Kroger Pharmacy on N. Eldridge and when I said my name, after not using them regularly for 2 years but had for the 7 before- they knew me, I explained the problem- "ok we will transfer the Rx here, I have it in stock, we are going to fill it, call insurance, they are waiting for your doctor to say "YES he needs this med"' Did walmart do anything for me after 2 years of using them- nope. Granted it's location this is arguably the worst Walmart in Houston, just one sniff in the air you can smell warm urine in the parking lot from the moment you park your car. Greeted by the unfriendliness and unhelpfulness that Walmart had become known for , you certainly won't be disappointed. Rude workers, 2 cashiers open for the whole store and not to mention the unorganized aisles and expired meat. Once you've waited atleast 30-40 mins in line to check out, you remind yourself why you hate Walmart and vow you will never return. But we both know that you'll be back.. As you leave you are now given one last thrill... will you make it to your car with out being harassed by the local unsavory individuals and or wonder will you be mugged on the way to your vehicle? Do NOT shop at the Walmart located at Bissonet and the Beltway 8, store# 3302. They do not care about the safety of their customers. Even the coworkers, Tiffny a woman, did not try to get a manager to get a grown man off of me. I was physically assaulted by one of the Walmart employees for simply asking for his name. He threw his name badge at me. When I picked it up and walked out he jumped on my back and was grabbing my arm with both of his hands yanking my arm to get his name badge that he threw in my face. No one at the time intervened or tried to deescalate the situation. When I went to tell the assistant store manager she told me to have a good day. The security on duty, 2 officers, didn't do anything either. No one seemed concerned about a MAN attacking a woman. I had to call the police. I recently went into wal mart to purchase a certain monopoly game. I normally order online or do online pick up however, today the website was not working properly and it wasn't far from my work so I just made the quick trip over to the store. When I go to check out the online price was 9 dollars less than the price at the store, so I pulled it up so they could honor their online pricing and apparently wal mart doesn't honor their own pricing!! What kind of company doesn't honor THEIR OWN PRICING!!? I had about a 2 minute argument with the little customer service cashier manager and came to the conclusion that I can't believe a store/company of this caliber and size would argue with a consumer over 9 dollars. The gentleman even told me I could just pay for it online and pick it up, so I at first Obliged and then realized even though I had it in my hand, I could not pick it up until the next day. I'm just shocked at how poor this system is organized. It's more than clear that Wal mart as a whole no longer cares about the consumer and customer satisfaction but about how fast they can get you in and out of the store and take your money. Unfortunately, I still bought the game because I needed it and 9 dollars isn't breaking the bank however they have definitely lost a customer and I will carry this story on to as many people as possible just out of pure principal. While visiting this store with my mom we walked by the sewing area and overhead this employee, I believe her name was Dorothy, yelling at an elderly man at least well into his 80's.
