They gave me a Kohl's card, I walked around the store for an hour and could not find ANYTHING within that price range. They are totally overpriced!!! I finally found a top that I could deal with which was under what I had on that card. It's plain and black. Whoopee! Anyway, I ended up giving the card with the $5 balance to someone who was going inside the store because I will never shop at Kohl's again. I went over to TJ Maxx and spent a small fortune in no time.

We had to figure out how to put stakes with visible colors (to the snowplowing company) into our 1/2 mile gravel driveway with rocky, difficult edges. Gary found the 130 stakes we needed but better yet he came up with a plan for how we could get the thin, plastic stakes into the rocky ground without them breaking. He found the perfect mallet and a very thin, unbreakable metal skewer that we could pound in to make a hole and then put the fragile dayglow stakes into. Anyway, the point is that Gary was thoughtful, patient, kind and creative and solved our problem! Ask for Gary and you will be fine,

The store l is clean and any time I have had to use the facilities they have also been clean. It is a large store, and I have had some issues with product, but customer service has always been able to fix the issue. Everyone makes mistakes. Give them a chance to fix it without feeling they've done something on purpose. You will find that your kindness and respect will get you the help those employees wish to give you. If you have a problem, ask for the store manager and don't yell at the employee. The majority of their employees se are hardworking people that have to deal with multiple customer personality types, managers, and situations (including being yelled at for things they cannot control) that we might find difficult to handle. Consider for a moment that maybe the previous person they helped was not the nicest person in the world or life has thrown them a curve. Could you do any better? We got personal pan cheese pizzas, chicken Alfredo, popcorn, and Archer Farms Mint chocolate cookies . The chicken was amazingly creamy and cheesy with moist boneless chunks of white chicken! The lady at the snack bar put in the oven fresh ones for us which were ready in fifteen minutes from ordering. The popcorn was freshly popped buttery and crispy and texturally delightful. The Archer Farms mint chocolate cookies were soft, super chocolately with a nice mint chip distribution. Take a visit over to the snack bar and have some lunch all in all around twenty bucks for everyone including drinks. Yummy!! Great shopping experience and wonderful lunch!!!

I really want to support local Sullivan County businesses, even the chains, to help keep money…read morelocal. But they have to make an effort. This Walmart doesn't. First, appearance. Other nearby Walmart locations, including the smaller one in Napanoch, have clean, refreshed displays. This store got a few brand new black cardboard signs, but most of the store still looks like it's held toghether by duct tape and bubble gum. They've slowly removed things like vending machines in the entrances, so now there's more places for the homeless to congregate, and the store does next to nothing about that. The spot for a restaurant has been vacant for about a decade now; they've made no effort to replace it. Over the years they lost a McDonald's and a bank, and they've only just replaced the bank, nearly a decade later, with a cell phone accessory store that would usually be a kiosk in the mall. This Walmart is not the one-stop destination that others, like Middletown, is. They routinely have the majority of their self-service registers closed, even though they require minimal staffing, so there is always a line. On my most recent visit, only 3 of the 16 were open, all on the opposite side of the building from where I entered. The register I used had a broken barcode scan wand, which I needed for an oversized item, and the chip reader for credit cards was also broken. Does this mean the other 13 registers have worse equipment? When I order items from the website, they sometimes decide to fulfill my orders from this location rather than a warehouse. When that happens, items are usually shipped two days AFTER the guaranteed delivery date. Based on the stickers on the packages, they were packed on time and then left on the side, forgotten. As more and more stores open nearby, they are going to lose a few dollars here and there until we lose them for good. We need this Walmart here; I remember the days when we had to go down to Middletown for basic needs. We need this store here, but they shouldn't take us for granted -- they need to give a darn about us, also.

Clothing is pretty much a given at tj maxx... they have duvet covers (along with pillows, sheets and comforters which was a nice plus... The best part was the friendly service. The lady at the counter was very nice as was the on in the changing room.
