Also, the Dierbergs label is just as good as a name brand and it helps you save money on your total bill. If you're a drinker, the liquor department is a mini liquor store located inside a grocery store. The variety of wine and beer is huge. If you over drink and do something stupid, you can use Dierbergs florist to help get yourself out of trouble. In addition to some groceries (deli meat, cheese, corn on the cob, etc.), we also found that they had an excellent selection of items for our upcoming camping and backpacking adventure -- including lightweight but hearty freeze-dried meals such as lasagna, beef stroganoff, and chicken fried rice (that were surprisingly tasty but expensive), a water carrier for the campground picnic table, and bamboo skewers for roasting marshmallows around the fire! We found everyone that we had come in for, and more! Parking was plentiful and free. Staff were pleasant. The check-out line in the morning was short. Finally, the location was close to a gas station so we could fill up before continuing on our journey north.
