If I could give negative stars, this place would deserve it. There is ALWAYS some kind of drama or something wrong. Today, I did not want to drive all the way to Bonner Springs so I decided to go to the Walmart on parallel. Big mistake. I did a pick up order because I hate to go into that place. Out of the 30 items I bought, 7 of them were either missing or damaged. I had 2 incredibly dented cans- not small dents but rather the entire side of the can was crushed. The cleaner I got had opened and spilt. They put it in a bad with taco seasoning and printed labels. Both of them are ruined and the cleaner is empty. It's all over my car. I ordered 2 packages of crispy peppers for salads. One was open and the other was missing! I'm done with this Walmart. I'm always going to make time to go somewhere else, and you should too. read more

This Walmart could be so much better. The next closest one to me is in Shawnee and it's so much better. The staff here are hit or miss. Some are nice and helpful. Others barely respond to you. Avoid the tire center Big O tire is better and only costs a little more. read more

The skin on the apple felt wrinkly and trust me at my age, I know. I understand buying bagged lemons are risky and several were moldy and dried. Peppers were getting old as well. Today, while shopping at Walmart with my family, we used the self-checkout as usual. As we were checking out, a female employee suddenly approached another customer and yelled, "Sir, wait a minute! You did not pay for your stuff." The customer, who had used the Walmart app to make his purchase, politely tried to show her his phone and receipt. However, the employee dismissed it, saying, "That app has nothing to do with what you have in your cart." Despite his calm demeanor, he went along with her demands. I found this kind of treatment towards a customer extremely frustrating, but what happened next made it even worse. The same employee then walked over to me and started watching as I scanned my items. Before I was even done, she demanded to see my receipt. I responded, "You just stood here and watched me scan everything." She then insisted that my son also show his receipt, even though he was still in the process of paying for his items--a case of soda and another drink. At that point, I refused, stating again that she had just witnessed us scanning everything. She then proceeded to walk to the front of the store with me and told a police officer, "Make sure she gets checked before she leaves." The officer relayed this to the door attendant, instructing her to check my bags. Fortunately, the door attendant was helpful, and everything in my cart was bagged and accounted for on my receipt. Frustrated by the treatment I received, I went back inside to speak with the manager. I explained the situation and expressed how upsetting it was to be treated like a criminal. Instead of acknowledging my concerns, the manager kept repeating that what the employee did was "part of store training." I then questioned whether employees were selectively choosing which customers to scrutinize based on their background. Additionally, I pointed out that she had involved the police, yet the manager insisted, "We don't have police in our store." I then asked, "If that's the case, why is there a person in a police uniform standing at the front?" My son went over and ask this female what was her name she said I'm not giving you my name i don't have one I'm just a associate. read more

Delivery is terrible! Was delayed twice. Stayed up late for two items that were never delivered even though I received a notice that they had been. Called the store multiple times and received no answer. Phone just keeps ringing. read more

It started yesterday when I brought my car in for an oil change, the lady at the counter named Carrie (I think) was rude when I asked for the oil change saying they weren't taking any more oil changes without an appointment. I left not really happy with her attitude. This morning I come again right before they open and she is there again. I tell her I need an oil change and before I get the sentence out she was saying I would have a 2 hour wait. Mind you, there are NO other cars there. I agreed to wait and she visibly looked agitated that I didn't decline. She took my keys and low and behold, they took my car in right away. I observed her do this with several customers and the majority declined sevice. She was on the phone telling other customers to bring their cars in for service though. My car was done well under an hour and still there were only 2 other cars there while she was attempting to scare away customers. read more

Terrible excuse for a grocery store... On top of the other problems this Walmart already had now they have a huge new problem. On 4/15/19 they posted in the store windows that they are changing their store hours from 24hrs a day to 6am-Midnight everyday. What happens to the people who work night shifts and need to get groceries at some point too? What about when you have a sick kid and need to get medicine late at night? Next time you need a last minute essential late at night don't expect this Walmart to be able to help you out. read more

June 14th 2019. My Girlfriend Purchased a Book from Walmart at the Legend in Kansas City, Kansas. The Book she purchased HUGS the OBAMA Inside this Book have Photographic of President Obama and his memorable moment in the White House. This Book was my Birthday gift that was given to me day after of my Birthday. I open this Book and found Tobacco Stains several Pages OPand Tobacco with Stain . My Girlfriend today decided to return it after finding her receipe, but prior before today she had talk to one Manager who was Duty and she bring back the Book and get your Refund. Today this young Manager said no on this Returned. I thought Walmart want to know about these incidents, but apparently this Young Manager show interest in this matter. I don't Smoked nor Chew Tobacco and I find this very disturbing and disgusting of why someone spit and leave their nasty germs behind. I will be going back Monday to talk with Manager whose know how to resolve this small matter. I'm disappointed in the way She handled a Returned for Refund. read more

First time visiting this WalMart... I was able to navigate it fairly well. The staff wore mask and carts were available with sanitizwrs at the entrance. All the lroduce appeared to be fresh and the lines were not backed to the isles. Staff at checkout were helpfil and attentive. Today Ms Anna refuse to return my $25 because Walmart had the wrong code number on the receipt/ Although the green jacket was marked as a vest on the tag and on the receipt! We came here late at night to buy some stuff for our team food day. This was a huge Walmart and plenty of parking outside. We walked around and a lot of Walmart employees were restocking (yes that time of night) the shelves. We were helped by one employee who pointed us to the right direction to find what we were there for: food and drinks for our team outing. There were only three self-checkout machines available so we waited a while before we could pay, but that was understandable for the time of night it was. If anybody enjoys shopping this Walmart is not the place to go. It's like through train to be s***** towards customers or not to show customers a good time you can easily walk out with a grocery cart full of anything you want and the thing is none of the employees would pay attention I returned a keyboard which I had a receipt for to customer service and the lady just sat there and stared like she didn't know how to read probably thinking to herself what are the scribbly lines. After 10 minutes of her just staring I asked her is there a problem. Then all of a sudden she just snaps bad attitude real bad if she got her friends right beside her just laughing and all I asked was is there a problem I have the receipt what's the deal she act like she did not want to refund my item or anything I do not recommend anybody shopping there unless you just plan on loading up a grocery cart full of whatever you want and just pushing it out the door chances are they will not stop you or more or less see you I don't see that Walmart staying in business for too long with those employees trying to be s***** to the customers they just want that unemployment that's what they want I would say adjust those employees down to one hour a week making quit and get new staffing so they don't get their unemployment lazy ass f****** do your job or quit read more

Average Wal-Mart Supercenter. It's a newer store and it's always pretty clean on the inside. It has all the typical amenities you'd come to expect in such a place. There's a Subway, a hair salon, and an optical store within. This store is set up a little different than older Supercenters. Expect to walk around for a little bit if you're used to the older layouts. read more

I have never experienced such lack of caring in a manger in my life. Johnathan the "assistant store manager" was on his phone half the time I was talking to him, and he asked me "what do you want?" Well you see they had lost my pictures that my great aunt had wanted developed. So my response to his rude question was "I need you to find the pictures" Johnathan clearly hated his life and had no concept that the people in front of him were the ones paying his paycheck. I had a cart of groceries I ended up abandoning because I could not in good conscious give any money to this horrible company. Also there were only five check stands open with at least ten people in line each. So after I left, I called to speak with the store manager to inform him about Johnathan's bad behavior and I was put on hold for 30 mins and the call got disconnected. Please do not give your hard earned paycheck to this company. Please boycott Walmart so that they will go out of business and put these sad employees out of their misery. read more

So let's not call this a "Super" center. Let's instead call this a "sidekickish" center. This Walmart unfortunately has only a few good qualities. I've never had a bad experience with the employees and they have self checkout lines. It seems to have less normal stuff than the other stores close to it. I get it though because I think this one is set up more like a tourist store because of it being located in the Legends area. It always seems disheveled which is odd since it's relatively new. It already has a run down feel to it and that's sad. The prices are Walmart prices but they even vary with the Bonner Walmart which is located pretty close. The layout is kind of funky. It's odd at least it is to me. On the flip side, it's well lit and the employees are always pleasant when I'm here which is rare. I honestly try to avoid coming here because they usually don't have what I'm looking for anyway. read more

For a large "formal" party.. 36 white on white no decor. I went to pick them up several hours after my "requested" pick up. They were not done. The girl behind the counter checked our order and finishes the last dozen....well her icing ran out, so she switched icing bags..... Great, one was a star to the other a hole. Fantastic, now I have mismatched cupcakes for my event where simplicity WAS the decor. Any domestic goddess (such as myself) can prepare vanilla cupcakes with white icing.....but the point was. The Friday before Christmas, and not ONE checkout line is open. NOT ONE. A poor older gentleman named Russel, that is an employee did his best to see checkout the last 4 people in his line, but he had to turn people away as he was supposed to leave a long time ago. Everyone is walking around with carts full of Christmas items and there is no one available to check them out. Incredibly poor service. Not a manager to be seen. Typical Walmart Super Center. Now, I have had some incredible experiences with some very helpful employees. They can only do so much with what management gives them. What's the deal though, with 30 checkout lines and only 4 or 5 being open? It the number of checkout lines there to impress the rest of us even though Walmart has no intention of every using all of them? The store is huge. It has everything, even an auto center. It has a subway, a nail salon (that I have used for pedies) a bank, eye glass center, etc. I can usually get in and out of here quickly. They have a nice, large grocery center. read more

This walmart is brutal. With 40 people in line they had two registers open. The staf informed us that this is a regular ocxurence on the weekends. It takes longer to pay than to shop. When I tried to address this with the manager he refused to speak to me. The restrooms are always filthy. Wont be continuing to shop here with so many other options available. read more

Pharmacy is a complete mess. I stayed with them for two months, but they couldn't text me when prescriptions were ready, sent me texts after pickup with the wrong amounts, had problems with receiving prescription requests, and left it up to me to always wade through the mess. Their online pick up service is amazing. They have really upgraded their service. Wait time is has gone down, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Their OGP staff should get raises for sure! I would rate this walmart "0". This walmart is the worst I've been to. Their customer service is just horrible. Even the assistant manager has a horrible attitude! Luckily there was a greeter that greets people at the door and an older man who I believe was a maintenance guy that actually said hello. But the rest of the employees here are just grumpy and seems like they don't want to do their job. I asked for help but the associate just said she doesn't know. She didn't bother asking other associate for help. I will no longer shop at this store. This store has a very poor morale and I really believe that they need to re-evaluate the management team. Even at the customer service desk, they have really bad attitudes. I once returned something and they were so unhappy that the other person actually made a remark and I quote her saying "this is going to be a bad day" because of a return they don't want to do because of the high value of the merchandise. Outrageous and just wrong. Went to this Walmart last night with my husband to do the weekly shopping. When we got to checkout, no registers were open. We were told if we were buying cigarettes, we could come in one line but otherwise had to check our own. I do not wish to check my own groceries. If I did, I would get a job doing that. It is not a privilege nor is it a special treat of some kind. You get no discount for checking your own groceries. I am really disgusted with Walmart if this is how they are going to treat customers. I shop there regularly and spend over $200.00 weekly. This self check out thing is a rip off and I will not do it. Anywhere, anytime. Luckily, my husband was there or I would have left the basket sitting there in the self check line. The staff were not helpful at all and probably thought I was being "mean". I signed up for a Yelp account specifically to write this review. I've been to this Walmart several times over the past few months and almost always have the same experience. TERRIBLE customer service!! This is typical of most Walmarts, but for some reason, this one has really stuck with me. Not one staff member has ever questioned whether I need help finding anything. If I do happen to stop one of them to ask where something is in their backwards store, they have acted like I am really putting them out instead of being gracious and DOING THEIR JOB by assisting customers. They also have usually five registers open of their approximate thirty. Ugh, I wish I could get across how awful their customer service is. What's sad is that, just like everyone else, I will continue to go there because their prices are cheaper than other grocery stores. I just wish management would step up and reiterate to their employees how important customer service is. I understand they may not love their job, but I guarantee they would enjoy it more if they were kind and helpful to customers. The customers would be kind and helpful back instead of being in a piss-poor mood every time we enter the store. It has been the same the last few times I've been there - I leave irritated because of the way the employees of the store handle themselves and treat the customers. I hope this will change.
