We came in to shop at 10 O'clock at night, spent over an hour in the store, and left our basket with over $200 worth of merchandise sitting at the front of the store. There were 3 lines open, each had so many customers in line that the line went across the main aisle into the clothing department. The line at self checkout was at least double that length and 3 of the self checkout registers were closed. This is completely ridiculous and extremely awful customer service. So, this is a review about an employee NOT the store. Most of the time, Wal-Mart employees at this location are trying to figure out how to do as little work as possible. The electronics department is especially bad on most occasions. This is all beside the point. My 11 year old son has been asking for a new Xbox One game all weekend since he has now saved up enough money to pay half. Joshua was not only friendly but extremely helpful. The game was priced at $59.96 and when he went to ring it up, I saw him on his phone. I asked what he was doing, and he said he was price matching the game for me. WOW!! He saved me $20 by finding the game online for $39.95. Good job Joshua!! read more

Honestly the worst Walmart I've ever seen. It seems despite the massive amount of people that go to this place on a daily basis, they refuse to open more registers. I've never seen more than three open, no matter how packed it is, and the lines are insane. The store itself is never stocked as well as other Walmarts [529/Hwy6 and I-10/Fry] I despise coming here. I live close and shop here often. I've never had a bad experience. The lines are long from time to time and not a lot of associates on the sales floor but it's always clean and organized where I shop. Especially electronics and outdoors area. read more

For a Walmart in a nice neighborhood, the cleanliness is at its lowest. This is family oriented area and the bathrooms here are disgusting. They have toilet paper dispensers that has no cover, not to mention the toilet seats look like they haven't been cleaned. The vision center and isles are organized, this why I give it a 2 star. The management team need to get organized, it took me 30 minutes to check out 16 items. Total 6 lanes opened with 5-6 checkout carts per. 5 to 6 customers shouldn't equal 30 minutes, and if they have a rush, the floor manager for the register should have opened up two lanes at the minimum and not wait until the lines are over flowing with traffic in the isles. read more

Recently went to the tire and lube. First I had to wait over 10 minutes to get help. Went inside depsite signs that say wait outside since no one was coming out. Once I got in there, was told to go outside and wait again. Waited another 10 minutes, I was just about to drive off when someone came out. They asked what I needed and I explained I wanted an oil change. The tech informed me that my car was making a noise so they would not be able to accept it. I told him it was a squeaky belt (since I had been told that by the repair shop) and had nothing to do with the oil. He still turned me away. I went back to my repair shop and they did the oil change for cheaper. While, I still shop at Wal-mart, after many issues with them. I will not take my car there for anything anymore. read more

WORST WALMART I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I don't usually write bad reviews for places, but I just walked out of this Walmart empty handed because of how horribly it is managed. There were only 2 checkouts and the self checkout open with huge lines at each one. And when I asked an employee about the situation she just told me "it must be because of the holidays but I have no idea, it's not my department". The Walmart its self isn't bad, but the McDonald's inside sucks! The manager is an asshole and was rude the entire time.

This is the absolutely worst Walmart I have been too. Always feels as if there's only 5 people working that day. Only three lines open and the check out yourself area. I try every now and then give in since I live in the area but it never seems to amaze me how long it takes to check in. Walmart stated they were going to get more employees but nothing has changed at this one. N I'm annoyed just by looking at if. People are rude. Don't even smile. N don't come here on Black Friday. Lines were from the register to the back of the store. I left during the rush went to a different Walmart got the same things and was out in less than 30 minutes. read more

The in store pick up is a waste of time . The system is cumbersome and very slow . The distance from the pick up zone to the pick up point requires an UBER ! I'm still sitting waiting over 20 minutes and 1/2 a dozen people behind me . Classic case of Online meets Human delivery ! read more

This Walmart is ruining my neighborhood. I call and call. They let people take carts off the property and they trash up a nice new area. I called 800-Walmart and they promised to have the manager call. He never did. I hate it and what it has done in this area. Fight to keep Walmart out of your area or you will be having to deal with the same fallout. They don't clean up the lot. They don't stop people from dumping carts all over the place. Ridiculous. If I collected the carts and stored them in my garage, it would be full by now. No giveback to the area whatsoever ever. Poor management. Okay- back to school time! Shopping with the school supply list went relatively easy as I checked off the multitude of brand-specific items wanted by the CFISD for my son's first grade class. Although, I had trouble finding a few items most of the list was obtainable. We frequent this location for its proximity and the fact that my son knows all the door-greeters; they always draw him happy smiles on his receipts as he is proud to show off his day's purchases. Regardless of your political or social views of Wal-Mart- the people here are the ones that earn our repeat business. I have never run into any rudeness at this location (if you do not count the McDonald's inside the store- ANOTHER TOPIC for ANOTHER TIME). Kudos to the team members for making my son smile every time- : ) read more

Excellent poultry and meat selections, but never go when its a very windy and/or rainy day because your car will get run over by one or five of the stray grocery carts that are scattered throughout the parking lot. read more

I have no complaints of long lines--self check out is awesome and I have been going to this Wal-Mart for 1 year straight and there has always been more than 3 Check outs open. As for the Wal-Mart at FM1960/North Eldridge (77065) That Wal-Mart never has more then 4 lanes open in the evening (5pm-10pm) which seems to be rush hour. It is ridiculous. But overall, Wal-Mart matches every competitor and is a 1 Stop Shop, which I love! read more

Third walmart I came to in one night to use the money center express to get a money order. Approached one heavier set with glasses to enter the user code to allow the machine to work she just looked at it and said doesn't work without even trying. Luckily a nice young man offered to help with no issues. -5 stars for her but he definitely gets the 5 stars! read more

My husband just went in after many years of avoiding Walmart. He was not greeted and had to hunt down someone to help him. Asked to speak to a manager and took a very long time for one to show. They were then unwilling to look into options on keeping customers business. Cost themselves a large sale because of it. Need to have better interactions with their customers. read more

If you like to be disrespected, then by all means - shop here. The kids who work in the grocery pick up department are awesome, hard-working young men! They always have a smile, are polite and professional. No matter if there are delivering your order s pouring down rain or in 100-degree heat, they always stay positive. However, it's the assistant manager Sondra who has the same bad attitude as the employees working on the inside of the store. Who act as if they are doing you a favour just by being there and try to avoid answering any questions or want to assist customers in a pleasant manner. read more

I hate this Wal-Mart! I've never been a Wal-Mart fan, but this location is fairly close to home and when Kroger and H-E-B are closed, I have no choice but to come here and it's always awful. There are never enough checkout lanes open and even the self checkout lanes are a disaster. Every time I've done self checkout, the machine breaks and I end up standing behind a troop of people to pay for whatever little I have. In total, it takes me over an hour to get out of here, even if I'm buying a bottle of shampoo. Some time ago I went in there to buy some chips for an upcoming party I was having at my home the next day. A man giving out pizza samples was by the frozen aisle, so I grabbed one for myself. He stopped me and shouted, "WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS?" I looked at him and said, "At their house." He told me to give the sample back since I was under 16. I glared at him and told me I'm actually in my 20's. Then he had the audacity to say "In your 20's? Is this how you talk to your parents?" I was so angry, I dropped my chips and went to find the store manager to complain. There was no reason for him to be so rude, even if I had been under 16 years old. I haven't been to this Wal-Mart in a while and I dread coming here. The one off I-10 and Fry is much better and worth the longer drive. read more

Grocery pick up service here is excellent. The team that completes orders are professional and accurate ( big surprise, I know). If they had to make a substitution, they review it with you at your car and ask if you still want the time. This is an easy option for me since my husband and I have 3 kids and it is tough to remember everything at the store while wrangling them. As a ply, I also tend to spend less when I am able to order using my laptop in the kitchen while I review what I "actually need". read more

Not all Walmarts are the same. I've had some great experiences at a Walmart. This Walmart doesn't differ in selection, but the service here can be a little off putting. I've called twice to ask questions and both times have felt as if I was creating some huge burden upon the staff. I usually call if I have looked for an item online and cannot see if it is in the store, so I have called twice to ask. The first time I was put on hold for a particular department until it cycled back to the operator. When I finally got through, the store member was short and rude and eventually put me on hold as well. After almost 10 minutes he came back on the line told me the store didn't have what I was looking for and hung up on me before I could say anything else. I've been here only three times in person, and those experiences are fine, I just don't ask anyone for any help. read more

I am so impressed with their customer service and willingness to help! My son is staying down there with his sister while going to school. He works but it doesn't pay much and his finances are tight. His car battery died and he didn't have the funds to get one so I called down there to get one. The lady in the autoshop said I couldn't use my credit card on the phone but I could order online. She told me the battery I needed and told me it would be 2 hours before the order would process.In the meantime, his car is running because it won't restart after shutting it off. He also had to be at work in 2.5 hours and his work is an hour away. I called back and spoke to a woman in the internet department. I wish I would have gotten her name but I didn't. She went and pulled the battery off the shelf ad gave it to the mechanic and asked him to rush the order. He did. The lady at the pick up department was also very helpful in getting the order processed. All in all, everyone we dealt with at this store was willing to go above and beyond to help a kid trying to get to work! Thank you all! read more

While shopping yesterday, I was being followed by someone. I only went into the store for a couple of things and was talking on the phone with my mother. The total time I spent in the store was approximately 10 minutes. While walking and searching for an open checkout lane, I noticed a man in a red shirt following very closely behind me. Someone who I believe was loss prevention or possibly store security dressed in regular clothing. I understand that you have people there to prevent shop lifting but that is not what I was there for. I have never stolen anything and I never will. For the corporation to require their employees to follow so closely behind people is very unnerving and I do not appreciate it. I would like to add that I am a victim of kidnapping. So to have someone walking so closely behind me was very frightening. I am providing this feedback so that the company is aware of things like this. Not everyone who walks into your store is a bad person nor are they a thief. I'm completely dissatisfied with the store and I won't be returning to this location. read more

This is a complaint for Walmart at 6060 N Fry Rd Katy, TX 77449. I processed my photos online and PAID for 1 hour processing at 4:30. I paid for it online. I received an email saying that my photos were ready at 4:50 pm. I went to pick up my photos at 7:30 pm and no one was at the photo department. It was supposed to close at 8:00. I had to call an employee at the electronics and she said that the photos were not processed and to come back tomorrow. I went again at 7:00 pm the NEXT DAY and no one was at the photo department AGAIN. The guy there had to PROCESS MY PHOTOS because they were not already processed! He also asked if I had already paid. Luckily, I had my email confirmation. So, I paid for 1 hour processing, had to wait an extra day, call someone from a different department, and asked to PAY AGAIN. Why should I pay extra for 1 hour processing if the employees are not going to do their job?! read more
