I stoped in at this Marshalls during the week because I was looking for a specific item which I did end up finding. Now I love Marshalls and it always has great finds. But this Marshalls in particular the line was extremely long for a Thursday evening. It was almost as long as it was during Christmas time, except it wasn't Christmas. There were only three registers open and no one found that of importance to open more registers so that's why I'm giving this review two stars because I feel like the service could've been better. The value of what I got was exceptional I just wish the service would be better.

We came to find out that they do not have bathing suits at Marshalls, sounds like someone did a cost/benefit analysis on it or something. We found all of this out because a very friendly staff member informed us of the no bathing suit approach, but then gave us some ideas on where else in Kendal to find bathing suits at a low price. That was very nice as she could have shrugged, grunted and walked away - but instead gave great customer service.

Fecal matter all over the toilet seats, trash on the bathroom floor, and the sinks had a layer of gunk and dust that you can tell, was due to way more than a week of not being cleaned. I shopped for an hour and a half, because I was already there and was short on time for the day, and when I got to the register, one of the shirts I had chosen, did not have a tag on it. I asked the cashier to give me a price, and she put it to the side, and let me know she could not sell it to me. When I asked why, she explained that it was a Shein shirt, and they don't sell Shein there. I explained I had just shopped for an hour and a half, and that was the shirt that I wanted. She again, let's me know, she cannot sell it to me, I again let her know, that I'd like to purchase the shirt, and then she just pulls a random price out of the clear blue sky. Smdh I asked if she could not sell me the shirt moments before, how did it now have a magical price tag. She said it may have been because someone came to do a return and a cashier didn't pay attention and received the shirt by mistake. Sooo... The cashiers aren't paying attention, the bathrooms are disgraceful, the merchandise is Not for sale, and the place looks a hot mess! Throw the whole store away!
