If there is a review you would want to read to save your money and go somewhere else, ready this one because it's as honest as it's going to get people, I work nights--long 16-hour shifts--and curbside is the only way I can shop consistently. I spend hundreds of dollars every single week at this Walmart, both curbside and in-store. But after everything they've put me through, I will NEVER give this place another penny. Most employees at this Walmart don't speak not ONE word of English btw let's start there. First, the curbside parking is a joke. Half the time there's nowhere to park because the designated pickup spots are full or blocked, which defeats the entire purpose of curbside pickup. Then there's the condition of the groceries. Rotten produce. Damaged and crushed items. Spoiled fruits. Moldy vegetables. It wasn't a one-time mistake--it became the norm. Every large order came with something completely unacceptable. Taped up shelf items that look like they came from customer service placed right back on the shelf and then put in your cart as curbside pickup. Broken or if terrible quality. After I finally left a harsh review, the manager reached out pretending to care. She apologized, said she wanted to "make things better," and for one single order, things were okay. She even gave me a little sample bag as a gesture. But that "effort" didn't last long. Because the very next big order? Cause again I spend ALOT of money here weekly... Everything was rotten and messed up AGAIN. I tried calling the manager multiple times--different days, different times--and she avoided my calls. When she finally answered, she gave me the excuse that their "system was down and to submit a refund for the order or anything that was damaged and that I didn't even have to return it to the store... siiiiike not the case cause after I threw all damaged goods away and submitted it they said I have till Dec. 16 to return them, mind you this happened two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for help, she also said that she needed a couple of days to "look into it" I understood because it was the holidays but never heard back from her." I was nice, never disrespected and I even told her that if I was the associate I would shop as if it were for myself cause I worked in retail before 23 years ago and I know how it is. But she never called me back. When I followed up, one employee said she was "out of the office." Another said she had "a family emergency." The story changed every time I called. At the end of the day, nobody cared enough to fix anything. And to make things even worse, when I requested a refund for the rotten and unusable items, they told me they couldn't process it unless I returned the spoiled food--food they knew I had already thrown away because it was rotting, leaking, smelly, and completely unusable. No one in their right mind would keep rotten produce sitting around just to "prove" it was bad. They knew exactly what they were doing--making it impossible for me to get my money back. After spending this much money every single week, the lack of customer service, the complete disregard for quality, and the dishonesty around refunds is outrageous. They have shown me over and over that my business, my time, and my concerns mean absolutely nothing to them. I will NEVER shop here again. Not curbside, not inside, not ever. And I am making it my mission to make sure everyone knows about this place. I'm posting this review on every platform and every social media outlet I have so no one else gets treated the way I did. I went in looking for a bucket for my mop and I found a red one that stated it was $2.48 I was happy about it and saw next to it was a grey bucket that was $10.30 I ofc went for the cheaper option and believed it was that price as there was lot more right behind it I went to the purchase and when I scanned it stated $10.30 when I asked a lady at self checkout if she can assist she scanned it and stated the grey one was $2.48 and I showed her a photo I took stating it said the red ones was 2.48 and after I waited in a long line for self checkout I asked could you honor the price since there was plenty under this price she just looked at me and when I asked do I have to go back across the store to get the grey one after waiting in line she just walked away from me and I went ahead and paid since I didn't want to go all the way back and wait in line again next time I'm going to target they would of honored it understanding it was there mistake read more

I am not sure what is the problem with this store in West Kendall, the employees have the worse attitude that a business employee can have. I don't know if it is because they are lazy, stupid, underpaid, or they just don't give a sh!t. If I could give less than one start, I would do it for the store. I do go around the state and sometimes even outside of the state of Florida, but only in Miami you get this type of service. This is not my first time in the electronics department, but for the last three days, I had to come here for various things and deal with these people working in this department. This is my neighborhood Walmart and they are very well stocked on items every time I go never an issue. The only reason I gave them a 4 stars instead of 5 is because the staff sometimes when asking for help they ignore you and do not want to help OR lead you in the wrong direction. Don't know if it's just this location but when this happens I just keep shopping I understand they work a lot and they must be frustrated.. since I work in the grocery retail business as well I completely understand. I came here in the evening on a Sunday for groceries and some house stuff as our usual Publix was not on the way to where we were going. It was PACKED. There were so many people there shopping for food. It was like Costco on a Saturday morning. The staff were trying to re-stock the shelves but the place was getting picked over quickly. Customer pandemonium aside, we were able to get the food items we needed at some really low prices. We were also able to get some random stuff for the house you can't get at Publix, so it was an overall win. read more

Wal-Mart has the right intentions with abysmal follow through towards any of them. Example "quick assist button alerts; ten plus minutes and not a sole responded. "Hand Sanitation jugs in an unsanitary container". "Loads of accessible Shelves but no products". Products available locked away behind a glass employees can't be reached. Those employees as seen on video that could be reached wave no for no apparent reason and walk away. No interest to connect with clientele whatsoever. I'm sure the people as individuals are great but the system in place give them obviously no need nor incentives to actually care and follow through with Wal-Marts clear intentions of having everything and anything to satisfy. Becareful when you are buying at Walmart, their shelf price tickets not the same for same item when you get at register. I bought their med size bx that said $1.78 and at register I was charged $2.58. And I doubled checked that shelf price match what I was getting because someyimes their items are also positioned incorrectly under its price tag This is not the first time. May 4/2024 Between 7:00 am and 7:30 am I enter the center and the first thing I see is two employees with a speaker dancing reggaeton as if it were a party. Then I went to the department where the automobile items are, I saw that the book to help with vehicle models is in such poor condition that many pages were missing. I tried to look for help and I saw 4 employees leaving the warehouse and I tried to talk to them and what they did was speed up the pace so that I would give up making contact, until my insistence made one of them turn around and with an attitude that did not is the right one to deal with a client. Then she asks me the question: Did I need something? I answered that she needed help in that department. And she responded that I was in a bad mood. I explained to her that the book was in bad condition and I couldn't find the article I was looking for. With an angry face, she responds that this is not a repair shop, that I had to provide the information about what I was looking for. That response made me feel bad and I decided to look for a manager or team leader, I explained what happened and they helped me. I think WALMART should provide training to all of its workers so that these things do not happen. I don't think I will make my purchases on this site again. The only reason for giving this Walmart 3 stars is because of the convenience that it provides its customers by having a deli, hair salon, supermarket, pharmacy and many other departments... Convenience aside... I am not one to be a fan of mega stores that swallow up the local business owners and for this reason, I would give Walmart one star. This particular Walmart is well stocked and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I saw some good prices in the produce department on certain items while other items were the same price as Publix. I enjoyed their little cafeteria where my son and I had coffee. Location use to be 24 hours and unfortunately covid changed that so no more late night runs for necessities anymore :( neighborhood Walmart and it's usually very packed on weekends so it might be a bit hard to find parking. Lines get crazy but store always has good clearance items and well stocked on items. TIP: go to the self checkout line with 8+ registers because that line moves a lot quicker (even if it seems longer than the other lines) and you'll be paying in very little time read more

I absolutely loathe coming here. This Walmart is the kendall dump special and it hasn't gotten any better. If it were not for the hours I would avoid Walmart at all costs. The service is garbage. No one knows anything and everyone is too busy talking and chitchatting then helping the customers. The Walmart is big and you can find what you need there if you know what it is. But if you need help locating something or questions on an item don't even bother because they just don't know. I needed to purchase a cable for my laptop and was very specific with photos and all about what I needed and the woman at the counter looked at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. The only thing she could tell me is that if it doesn't work I can return it. (I clearly don't want to be back here which is why I'm being specific) she didnt want to check me out. I went to three registers with the lights on and neither would check me out. Why have the lights on? Just turn it off if your closed. I always tell myself not to go to Walmart because the service is always like this. Its not even mediocre its just truly bad. Pros are the hours. Thats it. If you work late or something comes up last minute Walmart is there for you. But don't expect to get help or anything more. read more

It's nearly impossible to buy baby formula at this Walmart, for some reason they have some formulas out and available to purchase but the one that I need is locked up in a case and no one has keys to open it not even the manager on staff. Every associate that I asked for help all told me to just push the "help button" that someone would come... No one came. I even tried to call the customer service department while inside Walmart to ask for help, no answer, no answer for the bakery no answer from the pharmacy no answer from any department I waited 30 minutes and ended up leaving without baby formula and went to Target instead. This is the closest Walmart location to me. It has The same products that all the Walmart have. This location is been renovated and it looks ok. They have over six automated machine for express check out. The good thing about it is that they have three ladies ready to help the customers when they need it. At this locations they also have a bank, nail salon and a beauty salon. The gardening section it is huge and with affordable prices. They also offer the key duplication service. We finally manage to ask a cashier; she sent us to the assistant manager; we waited for this other lady and asked her... but she said that they ran out and when I asked if the ones "for display" could be bought; but nope; they are just for display... what kind of business is this? This is the WORST Walmart. The parking lot might as well have grim reapers flying around. For the parking lot alone, I avoid this Walmart like the plague. It's difficult to get into and out of. There are people walking around everywhere and the other cars are zooming around trying to steal whatever spaces they can find (typical Miami). Then I went online there is a class action suit on these cards. I received this as a gift at a raffle at my company Christmas party. The only thing Walmart gift card center told me it was used for bill payer to Amazon. When going to Amazon (not there fault) they asked for me to get certain info from Walmart. All Walmart could give me was the purchase time/date and that it was used for Amazon. If I can help anyone DO NOT BUY these cards check online for the class action suit. I go to this location because it's closest to our house and prices are better than other stores especially on non-perishable items. Plan to park and walk a good distance. I have never found a close spot and the parking lot is almost as fun to try and navigate as the store itself. The arrangement of things inside is kindof like a maze more than other Walmarts I have shopped before. The cold stuff does wrap around the back wall around to the frozen. That design is the nice part of the store. There are good fresh fruit and vegetable options. Comparing costs I got mini cupcakes at Publix yesterday morning for work for $4.99 and the same exact cupcakes sell at Walmart for $3.98. I had to use the restroom before leaving and it was ok. Not super clean but not nasty. They are building a Walmart within a mile of our house so I will be excited to try it out and they probably will have some grand opening deals. This one does the job for now. I just miss my pick up service and can't imagine navigating that at this location. Publix offers Instacart delivery to our area but the cost difference is something I am not wanting to pay. read more

What can I say, it's Walmart. If you want to see patrons rocking their finest pj's or morbidly obese women in tights you've come to the right place. It's also the right place if you need something last minute as this place is conveniently open 24 hrs. This one in particular has undergone some major changes over the years and now it's more like a super walmart where you can grocery shop so kudos to that. I just want to start by saying my review originally started at 3 stars and plummeted to a practically non-existant one star. At first I was very pleased with the prices considering my home walmart is more expensive. I was also impressed with the variety of crafty items. My experience reached two stars after witnessing the giant mess and negativity of several employees. I don't know if it was restocking night or the store decided to regurgitate merchandise but oh my word what a mess. Boxes and carts everywhere! The aisles were cluttered and messy so it was hard to find what I needed. As we were walking by some aisles I overheard one employee saying out loud to another "no one does s#*% here!" While in another aisle another person was just yelling over everyone to address another employee in a sarcastic manner. Come on people, teamwork!? You're a well-known chain with lots of patrons and that kind of attitude will not go very far. I also witnessed two very handi-capable teens using the automatic rolling carts for disabled people to their amusement, bumping into things, and no staff said anything to them. These patrons had no respect and no staff seem to care either, especially since I'm sure there are old people who actually need those carts. So here is where those two stars turned to one (since that is the lowest I can rate around here). The worst part of this trip was checking out. I saw so much staff outside and yet only 3 registers were open? Maybe someone can explain this to me. So we decided to go to the self-checkout. Someone should've just smacked some sense into me. What a big mistake. First of all self-check out station #46 has not been inspected since 2013 according to the sticker so they definitely need to keep up on that. My orange juice would not register despite my efforts to scan it....at first the machine considered it a fruit and then it registered twice. The machine went as nuts as the cluttered aisles and ceased all function until an associate could override it. There is an employee manning the self-checkout area but my biggest frustration is standing there for 15 min while the machine suggested that assistance was needed. To cut the story short the young man manning the area helped other people who had arrived after even though I was waiting the longest of them all for help. Messy, lack of teamwork, and just inefficient....a one-stop shopping nightmare. P.S "123" is not a good password... that's just lazy. read more

Why even bother with any electronics from this store? I bought an Xbox360 controller from here and had to return it because it was damaged when I opened the box. The analog sticks were sticking to the sides and could not remain centered. The new controller was the same as the last one but worse because buttons were not working. Then I get an Xbox One controller packaged inside of an Xbox360 packaging. Returned that too and asked to speak to the department manager. He apologized and said they have had a lot of issues with controllers getting damaged during delivery to the store. He got me one that finally worked. I also had a negative experience with one of the cashiers that double charged me on multiple items. You better watch out and look at your receipt to see how many items they charged you for before leaving the store. This store is an absolute nightmare to navigate around. I just had the worst experience ever. This associate (I think her name tag said KIRIAM and she had a limp) comes up behind me as I stood online to pay and touched my shoulder with her USED gloves. She startled me and I turned. Her face was not even an inch away from my face. I pulled away but no mask in the world can protect you from contact that close. She proceeded to squeeze by between the customers and the conveyor belt until she reached the cashier to ask if he had "go backs". That's something she could have done by going behind the cashier where there's wide open space. I called the store from my car to speak to a manager and of course I was left on hold forever. I ordered Meow Mix and found out it was only available for pickup. With the insurgence of covid, I wanted to use the 'pickup lane' advertised. A car backed in the only reserved space left. The pickup 'lane' is actually a few spaces with a small sign amidst a heavily used parking lot not respected. I checked in via cellphone and saw no one there. I then asked one of the people if he was waiting for a pickup and he told me to 'stick it where the sun don't shine'...none of my business! I am 80 years old but he continued cussing me out as I circled the lot trying to figure out this pickup 'joke'! I went inside to get my product, (never again) to be told the employees cannot take a stand, so DO NOT COUNT ON PICKUP FOR THIS LOCATION! It really bothers me that people give it 1 star because it's crowded. It's WALMART! Do you really think it will be empty at any given point in the day? Is any other walmart empty?
