Despite all the hours of operations stating the store closes at 11pm, please know that the store doors "close" at 10:50pm... but actually at 10:49pm as I was there at 10:50pm and turned away. If you want to close early, that's all fine and well, but then be sure that the hours are updated. All I needed was one item, and I knew the exact location of this particular thing and walk quickly, so I would have been in and out with a quickness. To be turned away when I was literally prepared to purchase one item was ridiculous. I'll be reaching out to management tomorrow to request that the actual hours of operation are accurate so that no one else has to be inconvenienced by this issue. read more

I recently moved to Kenosha Wisconsin without a car. When I lived in Florida, I used to use Walmart to have my older sister's food delivered to her apartment, because she was unable to go food shopping for herself, and I lived 50 miles away, and this was very convenient. The first thing I did when I moved to Kenosha was search for the closest Walmart, so I could begin ordering my own food delivery service and not only do they deliver food, but they have a great selection of just about anything else that you want in the world, I have nothing but good things to say about Walmart. Don't you love when you're away from home and can easily find a Walmart? This location was about 10 minutes from where we were staying and my daughter and I needed a few things so we drove over. Each Walmart is laid out a bit different but this one is really really different. Still, they had pretty much everything we needed. My friend Vikki was right about prices. I have to review this Walmart because I had the best experience and it simply DOES NOT COMPARE to the Walmarts near me locally in Chicago. Maybe it's a Wisconsin thing but people are really friendly and definitely seemed a lot nicer than my local Walmart. Pros: -SELECTION. This place is HUGE. I got so excited because of the copious amounts of product. I've been to Supercenters before but this one seemed very organized and well stocked. They had everything I needed and items that I wished my local Walmart carried. I counted about 40 different Pantene shampoos alone... -PRICES. The prices in Wisconsin seemed a lot cheaper and the taxes are definitely lower. It's insane the price disparity compared to downtown Chicago Loop prices. I mean I know there's a difference but I'm talking 50-60% markup. -PEOPLE. The store employees were helpful and even the shoppers were really nice. Two people let me go ahead of them because I had one thing and they had full carts. There was such a politeness and I really appreciated it. Cons: -LOCATION. This place was a drive out from where I needed to be. If it were closer to the highway I would definitely frequent this location more. read more

This review is strictly for the order pick up. I love the ease and that it is off of the side of the building. The staff member who bring it out are always so nice and the staff who does the shopping also does a nice job! We have rarely had any issues with items not being included in our order and when I have customer service online usually compensates us back. Needed assistance to obtain printer cartridges from a locked case. FOUR employees in the electronics area... One helping a customer. Three standing around, blocking aisles with carts of items, talking about last night's party and one for tonight..... 30 minutes LATER I finally get assistance from the one who was working and after being told by two of the three "it will be a minute". At least they HAD the ink and I bought three so I do not have to go back and wait 30 minutes to get a case unlocked. read more

Finally a Walmart where I felt comfortable and not stressed out . They had very polite staff here, self check out went speedy quick. I've been to many around the area and finally there's a good one ! Today I called this Walmart five times...Five.... First I called to ask a very important question about three orders I had put in. Two orders a few days ago, and one this morning as a same day pickup. Now my orders tell me in my e-mails that I should be able to pick up my two orders I put in a few days ago today on the 22nd of December after 6:00 this evening and my order I put in this morning as a same day pickup after 2:00 this afternoon my time central time. Now I called because I've been watching my other two order e-mails progress and it says that this store is processing my orders but yet when I called THE ACTUAL STORE to make sure that's the case not only did the phone's ring over and over but didn't get an answer at 10:00, 10:30, nothing.... 11:00, 11:30 I got two seconds of customer service and was put on hold and told that the very rude woman speaking with me says "I won't answer your questions there's another man ahead of you and he comes before you. You'll have to wait.." She doesn't even have the decency to ask me if she can put me on hold, but then just does it and I sat on the phone until 12:08 when I finally got tired of waiting and hung up. Not only am I flabbergasted by the amount of disrespect but the audacity of this woman to speak to me this way this morning but then to completely hang up on me by putting me on hold which I then had to call back again and asked to be directed to the photo department since obviously customer service wouldn't give me any help AT ALL.... Also, you would have thought since the store is open at those times someone would have answered the phones, when I called the first group of times well.... I got nothing... Also when I was put through to the photo department I was in the middle of a sentence to the man that I was connected to, to ask my questions about my orders since they were specifically for the photo department as that's where I ordered them from. I asked him if my e-mails saying my orders are being processed and to pick them up at 6:00p.m. this evening but have not made any progress when I checked their statuses and also checking my order status that I put in today also which says 2:00p.m. since they are separate orders and I am concerned if the times i've been given are going to be the actual pick up times and all 3 of my orders will be ready for me to pick up tonight? Then the man tells me that he can only find my order that I put in this morning even though it says that their store in my e-mails THEY SENT to ME says THEIR store is processing my orders. I tried to explaining to him AGAIN my questions and asking why they can't find my other two orders considering it says what it does in my e-mail? He changes the subject and tells me his boss doesn't come in until after 2p.m. and if I EVEN did order two other orders they haven't been delivered or actually processed yet... I told him I don't understand why considering the payments have gone through just fine and that I got e-mails back from their store saying my orders are being processed in their store. Also Not only did he cut me off mid sentence but he didn't even let me finish my sentence then began saying "Okay have a good day" so obviously he not only ignored me but it was in one ear and out the other in a few very annoyed, and temperamental tones of voice and hung up on me no goodbye no nothing... Literally I was midsentence..... I am completely outraged at the lack of respect these people have...............!!!!!!! Not only did I not get my questions answered but I was completely disregarded and treated like I didn't even matter. I just called the store again at 1:30 after there has been no progress from my order statuses still even now and I just got told that my name is in their system but that my packages haven't even arrived!!!! So not only was I lied to but they have kept me hanging for the last few days and now I may get my packages so far as tomorrow, or sometime next week and now also was told that the man I spoke to earlier today had no clue what he was talking about and was wrong about me being able to pick up my packages today and how apparently that I need to realize, that my packages are coming from other stores that do my projects and are given to UPS or Fedex before getting to my local store for me to pick them up.... I NEED TO REALIZE.....?!!!! ME.....??!!! REALLY?..... !!!! THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO PHONE ETTIQUETTE!!!!! Also I was just told too that I will have to wait until tomorrow or next week to pick them up unless something changes dramatically.... !!!!!!! THESE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!!!!! Nearly every worker, including management is completely useless. I went to get a key made and couldn't get any help except paging someone who never came . I waited for 35 minutes before leaving. Workers need to be trained in multiple areas besides knowing how to put a box on a shelf. read more

Who doesn't like Wal-Mart? This location is new and it is huge. There is also a Sam's Club next door if you are that kind of person...personally I am a Costco Guy! This place has everything...food...beer...TVs...RV accessories... toys...garden center...boating accessories...but of course most of you would know that. What I like about this place is that you do not have to pay Illinois Sales Tax and they have some amazing clearance aisles. There is no way that these clearance aisles would last in Chicago, it would be picked through probably within the first 10 minutes. If you find yourself looking to waste an hour (it takes that long to walk around here), then I recommend you get off of the expressway and head on over here a load up your car full of stuff. read more

Christina & Kristin that work at the service department up front went above and beyond to find a receipt that I lost from a year ago that I needed to do a return to Apple. This Walmart is amazing! I read some of the reviews and they said this place has bugs and rude staff. The staff here are actually amazing and very nice. This place also doesn't have any bugs and if they do, then the bugs probably came from outside when people walk in through the doors. The only bad thing here is how that are never in stock of anything. But that is not their fault because there are a lot of shortages. read more

Compare this to the Racine store. The Kenosha location is trashed. The shelves are empty and the product is all on the actual floor. There is never any help. Once had to wait for paint for 45 min and the head manager of the store Kristin forgot about me while I waited for the paint. If you can go to the Racine store, do it. Kenosha store is poorly managed. read more

I live 5 minutes away from this Walmart which is the ONLY reason I will sometimes go there. It is simply AWFUL. I've been to Walmarts all over the country and honestly have never seen one as purebred bad as the one in my own backyard, sad to say. The store looks like a bomb has gone off in it most of the time. Shelves are in disarray, product isn't stocked, boxes are choking the aisles full of product that NEEDS to be stocked and the customer service is just abysmal. I have complained many times, including to corporate. Nothing is ever done. This has been going on FOR YEARS. I have no idea how or why this place is still standing. This is the new walmart in the kenosha area.Its huge and its nice..But its laid out crazy..usually when you grocery shop you also pick up your shampoos and things together..here you have to go to the other side of the store(huge store ) but i think its a ploy to get you to buy other things..you know how they place those stratigic aisle end-caps and you find a million things in your basket! GEEEEZ! This store has declined so much since it opened 5 years ago. I suspect it is poor management more than anything else but even before the pandemic it was poorly stocked and poorly run. Semi empty and ransacked looking shelves, unpacked boxes all over...it is a truly miserable store. I had to complain to get shopping baskets available. They kept getting stolen, I was told, so they didnt know when any more would arrive. Eventually they did and now there are very few again. Selection is terrible and things run out only to barely get refilled (again, before the lockup...much worse then). Even now there are whole areas with bare shelves. I've never seen a store that tries so hard to not provide for customers. I've been in many walmarts all over the country over the years and this one is just pathetic. Good location for us, we stop here once to twice a week to stock up on a few things. Employees are courteous and helpful, manager is very kind. Store has been clean on every shopping trip here so far. Truckers: park next to the Garden Center, there is a truck entrance off of 38th street which makes it very easy to pull in even with your trailer, Sams club is also next door. The store is excellent. But stay away from the pharmacy, especially if you are getting a vaccination. The Asian lady who administers vaccinations is brutal! and she doesn't care in the least about the pain she so obviously inflicts with her unorthodox method. I had the second in a series vaccinations at this Walmart. Never again! The first injection was absolutely painless. But this time I almost went through the roof! I've never had such an incompetent administrator. Do NOT take your child to her. You will never be able to get them to get a vaccination again. read more

Tried returning something I purchased on a credit card in November. Don't have the receipt, figured they could look it up from my credit card. Was told by a manager that they can't do that. The sign at customer service says they take returns without receipt but fail to state that you would be given the lowest price. I paid $30 for something they wanted to give me $10 for. discounted meat and bakery are great. bakery stuff is back by dairy. meat has yellow tags. Go early in day. They have out of stock on some things. I can get wild birdseed cheaper some other places. Whole roast chik is good. their cheese pizza good too. Men's clothes are not much. But we find most consumer products we want at a good price. Usually not much of a checkout wait. With Discover you can get cash back with no fee or interest. I don't know what some people dont like about them. I used to work for Kmart- I didnt think them very great. Dept stores around here don't offer much more appeal to me except for clothing & shoes. read more

I purchased about 20 digital converters for my health club. A few weeks later I came to return the ones I didn't not used which were three. I have miss placed the receipt and I have not open the boxes at all. They said they had a 15 day return policy even though the items and I've been touched or opened. He said it was too much money that they will not take it back. I was about to purchase nine televisions from them and I did let them know about it. I preferred to lose the nine TV sales instead of returning credit for three digital converter's. I know they have store policies better policies do not seem to make much sense especially with items that I have not opened and went to bigger purchases about to happen.
