On 12-24-2025 I picked up some groceries at the lake Geneva WI Walmart super center. My tc# was 7738 0822 2678 1274 5266 8. I got home only to find 5 items missing. I figured that they forgot to swing the product turn style towards me so I could see all the bagged product Due to the holiday I called in on 12-26-2025 and talked to customer service. See looked up the item and sat on here ledger that those products had been turned in for restock. She told me to come in with my receipt and I could get the missing items. Today 12-28-2025 I returned to the store only to be told that these items were not in there ledger and I would have to wait around till someone was available to research this. I had to leave as I had to meet someone at the airport. As I left I told them I would just eat the 40 bucks and throw the incident on Google reviews. I noticed in the ledgers that there were dozens of people this had happened to. In the future, go to piggy wiggley. They are more expensive but at least you will get your product and not have to go through a hassle of trying to recover their employees check out errors and take a financial hit for it . read more

So many expired products it not even funny. Not to mention now if you have it delivered from the store and it's expired or damaged they want you to drive the items back. Horrible experience. Spoke to a manager named Sam about my battery replacement. The battery was three months old and completely dead and would not charge at home. They indicated I would need to leave the battery for two hours so they could charge it just to test it to confirm that it was not working. I live nearly 30 minutes away from Walmart and having to wait two hours or drive home and have to come back later is just unexcused usable but that's their policy. Don't buy a battery at Walmart. they're terrible. They don't last and they make it very difficult to exchange it even even though there is a one year free replacement. read more

I am really getting tired of deliveries coming from people who can't speak English, can't follow simple directions, and can't read English. I am all for hiring people who want to work. However, this is not the job for them. Today my WEEKLY order came. It included a prescription from the Pharmacy (I use this pharmacy due to the ability to deliver...I am wheelchair bound). The delivery guy said I needed a number to get my goods. I told him the number gets sent to my wife who is out of town as she is a truck driver and I always choose the signature option. He looked at me and said "call her". I showed him the phone with my order number and where it says I will sign for it. He just stood there. I said to take it all back!!!... just ridiculous...I am appalled at the ignorance of this driver. However, he is not totally at fault. I spend $150-$200 per week religiously at Walmart in LG. I get delivery every week. The delivery directions are clearly stated. I tip well.... so, what can you improve?...only hire delivery drivers who can read or speak English and remind all drivers to read where the order is to be delivered and if a number is necessary or is it just a signature necessary. I had to send my entire order back....and I am not happy. Piggly Wiggly and Aldi have always treated me well. Walmart won't miss me I know but I won't stand for being shit on constantly. read more

I love Walmart because no mater where I am in the country on my travels and if my bank is nowhere around a can get cash back. I needed some supplies and some cash for my travels so I started at WM because I can do both which I did. One thing I hate about WM is that there is no uniformity to the layout of the stores because all the departments are arranged differently from store to store. When I went to the Walmart, the lady that reads your receipt was racist. As soon as I walk past her she yanked tye receipt from my hand and said we didn't pay for the pop corn chicken. She specifically said," you guys didnt pay for the pop corn chicken go pay". She watched us pay for them and then gave us our receipt. When I got into my car I read the receipt and we did pay for the pop corn chicken the first time and she made us pay for them again. Terrible experience. read more

The automotive department is the most disappointing under qualified employees ever in the history of the world. Normally I spend an hour to an hour and a half tops to get a tire fixed, but now we're up to 2 1/2 to 3 hours to do the simplest tire repair, balance, and remount tire. Just one. To have to wait That long when my car and one other are in the bay: that's absurd. There have been times where all of the mechanics took a break at once..If they are working, they stand around talking. Where is the management to make this department work? Obviously They are on break With the rest of them. This store is the most mismanaged, rude, and under qualified to Deal with anything automotive. They cannot order tires correctly: they mislead you and say the tires are there but they are not, and make you come back the next day to find out that they're not there anyway. I have moved my business to Delevan Walmart because at least they know what they're doing, and when tires are ordered for a car, They call me and let me know when they're ready to be put on my car. Lake Geneva Walmart needs the manager from Delavan to come to Lake Geneva and clean house. read more

The customer service doesn't exist. I would rather drive twice as far to another Walmart, if i needed one. Thankfully there is a target down the street. We tried to renew my husbands annual WI fishing license . Have our local DNR On the phone, telling the associate & CSM TO call them to do it right. As a disabled veteran, he has no income taxes or DL. Refused to take our property tax paperwork & his military ID (FEDERAL ID), or Passport as proof. Even after DNR told us to have them call, the associate told me sternly no, it's illegal. We spoke to 1/2 of the local DNR With them present, and they still refused. Also, the next day we returned the TV we just bought & was too big. They made my hubs carry a tv for a return, from customer service to electronics, where none of them were trained for returns. They refused to return it up from at customer service. So, the same lead that made him leave customer service, & to walk to the other end of store carrying the TV, had to come process the return that she turned away. She wasn't nice, or listening at all to anything the electronics associates or we were talking about. Been going to this Walmart last 40+ years, never again. Week day nightmare... read more

It was raining this morning, so I tried entering through the garden center, only for two employees to block my path and tell me very snottily that they were not allowing anyone to enter the store through that entrance, even though the doors were open. I told them the reason I was wanting to go in that door was so I didn't get rained on. One of them flippantly said "Oh well, it's only light sprinkling" and the other told me to go to the grocery store entrance. On my way down there, I saw these two signs on the middle doors. I stopped to take just these two pictures, and a third employee asked me what I was doing, and wanted to know why I was taking the pictures. I told her up-front that they were for posting on this site because they were being so asinine. Thankfully, the rest of my trip was uneventful, but if this is how Wal-Mart wants to treat its customers, I'll give my business to the Target and Piggly Wiggly up the road instead. read more

For every $150 we spend usually get 2-5 back. Cool What else can I say. It's open 24/7/365. It's less than a mile from me . It's super clean and always well stocked. Does it get busy? Every supermarcado does. Oh folks that work here are friendly and some are quirky. Also have auto service. Would I buy my milk, meat and eggs here? heck no. I'm in farm country so not here. Eva! Couldn't price match on an item from Walmart.com for an unknown reason. Drove over an hour for the item, so that's disappointing.

Bakery experience was awful. I placed a cupcake cake order over the phone (that experience was lovely) but apparently they were sold out of the cake I asked for so they took it upon themselves to decide to make something totally different. This was a cake for my son who was turning 5. He didn't even know what picture was on his cake. It was supposed to be captain America. I would've at least appreciated a phone call that they were sold out and I would've picked something else, but they couldn't even give me that courtesy. They gave me 50% off the cake (thanks) but it didn't help in celebrating my son's 5th birthday who was confused what picture was on his cake. read more

Of all the Walmart's in my area in Chicago, I would drive up to Lake Geneva to shop. I have a summer place out here and discovered I can get almost everything I need here for my summer get-away and I love how clean this store is compared to the city. Seasonal prices are good and their generic brand foods and goods are comparable to the brands. I only feel their fruits and vegetables are a bit pricey for what I can get, but prices are competitive otherwise. I love shopping here! read more

Worst pharmacy experience ever! 1st I was told my Dr sent my script elsewhere in the Walmart system and was told they would transfer it and have it ready in 1/2 hour. I returned 5 days later and it was still at the other store, again I couldn't wait because I had to pick up my son so I told them I'd return. Two days later I returned and had the privilege of waiting in line 10 minutes before FINALLY getting my medication. The prior two visits there was no line but I was ignored for at least 5 minutes each time by at least 5 people. I understand pharmacies are busy, in fact I'm a Pharmacy technician to bad we don't have a retail department because then I'd never in this predicament, BUT you can at least acknowledge the presence of a customer! Needless to say the pharmacy sucks and I may drive out of my way just to go somewhere my insurance covers. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I realize you don't go to Walmart for a quality consumer experience but this as above and beyond the rudest I have ever been treated. My girlfriend and I, who are both over 30, were attempting to by a bottle of wine. We had been at the beach all day and I didn't think to bring my wallet into the store with me. At the time of check out we were treated very harshly by the employee and told that unless we both had IDs would not be able to purchase alcohol. Upon leaving my gf went back into the store and picked out the same bottle however another staff member picked her out of the line and told her that they knew she was buying for underage people, again, we both were born when carter was president. It had improved with a new manager - things were better for a few months. Now sliding back into terrible. Out dated product on shelves and in coolers. The bread aisle smells like mold. Empty shelves are a frequent occurrence. But, today was the worse experience of all and my final trip to this store. The cashier licked her fingers before opening every plastic bag and before scanning my purchases. She essentially was spitting on everything within arms reach. I decided to contact the store manager instead of confronting the cashier - she probably didn't know any better. When I tried to call the store manager - the first call I placed they hung up on me. I called back immediately and they let the phone rang 22 times before picking up. The manager that I talked to laughed and thought that my complaint was amusing. Apparently it is ok for cashiers to slobber on their fingers before touching everything in sight including a customers purchases. DISGUSTING!!! read more
