On 04/10/2025 I attempted to check out with about $150 dollars worth of groceries in my cart. I am…read more80-years old and require assistance unloading groceries from the cart and lifting them up to the belt. Everything in my cart was heavy. I asked for help unloading the cart and the cashier refused. Instead of taking one or two minutes to unload my cart, she left her station, went to the manager and ask for someone to come to the front to unload my cart. Not only was the cashier able to help unload it but there were three other employees standing around the front who could have helped. They all refused to help me. I left the store without my groceries and will never shop at this store again. It is not set up for senior citizens. They have no front helpt to unload carts, or help out to the car. They have three very old scooters that are not charged. It is not properly managed and does not deserve the business of older Leeds citizens. I urge senior Leeds citizens to boycott this store and shop somewhere that values our business and shows it by being helpful to those of us who need help.

Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

The placement of items seems so random to me, and unituitive. Why are there peanut butter cups and harissa above frozen vegetables? Why are cookies over nearly everything frozen from dinner entrees to breakfasts? It can be a little frustrating for 'compartmental shoppers.' If you want fresh flowers, make sure you go early in the day for the best selection. And if you're going for flowers near the end of the week, be also forewarned that a number of church flower guilds use TJ to create and/or supplement their weekly arrangements because TJ gets some unique flowers in smaller bunches at decent prices.
