Walking in I was surprised this Walmart didn't look like other Walmarts. Pretty clean on the inside and the staff was actually helpful. It was quick to get in and out. Their employees need to be trained better. My sister went in there to buy alcohol with her husband and my 9 year old nephew. She was told she couldn't buy it cause she had a child. If you ever want any help with ANYTHING, do NØT go here bc there are NEVER any employees in any departments. I ran around the store looking for an employee to help me on 3 different occasions, but I will never do it again‼ The lines to checkout were ridiculously long, and only had self checkout lines. My 90yr old mother needed help at the checkout, but could NØT get one employee to help her. She ended up leaving OVER $200.00 worth of groceries just sitting there. Only bc she could NØT get the card reader to work, and NOONE was around to help her. She said she waited 20mins for someone to help her‼ She couldn't stand there any longer and needed to sit down. She called me, and I went back to the store over an hour later. The buggy full of groceries was still sitting at the end of the checkout line. I never go to Walmart, but in this case, I had to. I just had to get two items , but unfortunately Target did not have it. So, I went to Walmart. This walmart in particular. I waited about 20 minutes and got one of my items. So happily, we almost left until we realized that we didn't have one other item that we ordered. So I called Walmart and told them we were missing an item. We waited again. No exaggeration here. We waited more than an hour until we got our thing. But then an employee came out and said he got it right from the shelf and it wasn't even the exact item that we ordered. So even though the employee was nice, we had to wait there for a very long period of time and it was only 2 things! No hate here, we just won't be coming back. So, I recommend you don't do Walmart pickup on a rainy Saturday. read more

This is my Mom's regular location and I stop-in every time I'm visiting. There's plenty of parking, it's always clean, but there's almost never a "greeter" like other locations. The grocery area is well stocked and the staff is friendly, but there's not always someone available when you need assistance. Also, there are always the same two old guys sitting on a bench at the front of the store "watching the world go by"...I don't know why, but that bothers me. It's probably just me. read more

I went to the auto center today to get tires. They told me it would be just a little while. Three hours later , my car still had not moved. Nor had any other vehicle came out. There is a man that had been there for four hours to have one tire fixed and yet it was not done either. They were all just standing around gossiping. Went to Lenoir city walmart, to check leaky tire, got there at 7.20am , Daniel checked me in within 5 minutes, found tire had leak in sidewall, got new tire and out at 8.30. Could not be more pleased with the service from Daniel and very nice service manager Bobby, very cordial, very professional and great customer service. Would highly recommend them. read more

My sister and I went there to walk around and look at some hair colors. We're broke and didn't have money for anything, therefore we were just there to look. While we walked around, we were being followed. There were about 3 different men wearing camo hats. I would occasionally stop and one of them would pop up around the corner staring at us. Now my oldest brother worked as someone who dresses normal but actually works for them and tries to catch shoplifters. We were highly uncomfortable. We ended up leaving and one of them walked out and watched us while he was on the phone. My sister turned and went to confront him but he ran back in. If I could give this Walmart no stars, I would. Handicap unfriendly: Went to this store yesterday, and for the third week in a row, there were no handicap carts available. This store has the junk yard of handicap carts. There were four carts with broken signs on them, but none available for use, and no one available to check the lots for them. Last two trips there, carts were in terrible shape, one actually broke down half way thru my shopping. So from now on I will shop at Turkey Creek Walmart, where they have new carts and more than enough for all Handicap shoppers. Why is it that one store has all new carts, and L/City has all the broken down ones. Could it be a management issue, or a financial issue, or is it that Walmart, L/City care less for all Handicap customers? read more

They did away with hand carried baskets saying they were stolen. Other stores in the area have hundreds and no problems. Then they got small shopping carts which they hide outside. They don't bring them in, just the large nasty carts are in side. read more

On hold for now about 20 minutes and counting trying to get in contact with a store manager or an assistant manager to deal with an extreme overcharge on a card. My mother is on hold and they hung up on me when I tried to call, and I hope it was an accident. However, she spent only about $20 but was charged over $300 and we have yet to receive help. read more

This Walmart has the worst produce section and selection of any Walmart I have been in. It was bad before they changed it it's even worse now. Most of the produce is rotten tomatoes, avocados, lettuce, even the bagged produce is out of date. I find it best to skip their produce. Go across the street or down the rode to Food City, Ingles, Krogers etc. To a grocery store who takes care of their produce section. read more

Just left the Walmart Super Center and had a very unpleasant encounter with one of their employees. Now I realized in these troubled times there are procedures set into place on entering and exiting the stores. My husband needed to go to the Lawn and Garden section only, he is handicapped, had trouble walking, is going through Cancer Treatment also is weak. As he approached the entrance to L&G employee at door rudely informed my husband "This is a exit door only" Wanted him to walk all the way to the other end of store (believe me it is a long ass distance) Now at other Walmarts they have helped the handicapped customers and allowed them through the exit. My husband explained he was handicapped but man just repeated rudley and loudly "EXIT ONLY"... I found his demeanor deplorable and not needed. I did call and talk to a manager but doubt she will do anything....will not return to this Walmart again...... read more

Went to pick up my layaway for Christmas. Sylvia isn't very friendly, and has no customer service skills. She messed up my ticket, and I feel as if it's my fault. No apologies or sorry for your wait. On 09-24-2016 at 10:15 I looked on the Internet for the tel. nr. for WalMart in Lenoir City, TN and it was listed as 865-986-3534 and the Bakery Dept. answered. I asked for the Electronics Dept. and they said they can't transfer calls so hang up and call 865-986-9002. The store operator transferred me 4 times to the Electronics Dept. as the phone rang & rang but nobody would answer. The operator said it's busy and they must be with a customer. She said she also paged them twice but nobody responded. I told her I have workeed in retail sales and we were trained if the phone rang while we were with a customer that we would excuse ourself and answer the phone so we wouldn't lose a potential sale. We would even get a customer call back number if we were super busy. She asked me if I wanted to speak with a Manager and I said NO. I told her I would contact another competitor. THERE IS SOME SERIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE & TRAINING ISSUES AT WalMart! Terrible experience! I called BEST BUY and received immediate service and made my purchase with them. Makes me wonder just how may sales WalMart loses with such poor customer service that management evidently has no clue of what's happening! read more
