Lindale is growing so fast, I may not like all the neighbors but the folks at Walmart are making it a little less painful. Clean organized (quite resetting the stuff I know where it "was") plenty of floor staff to help me find my goods. Had no issues. Everyone is very nice. It's clean and the employees really seem to like their job. Only thing is they just can't keep the grocery side fully stocked due to the population growth. Need employees in all departments such as paint and fabric. East to drive bad right off highway. Plenty of parking and food close by. read more

In the summer, my wife had her oil changed at the Lindale Walmart , managed by Don Hines. She paid for the service and was not told any damage had been done to her vehicle. The next oil change, we took her vehicle to the Mineola Walmart. The tech, after examining her oil drain plug, had to decline to change her oil because the previous tech in Lindale, had RUINED her new vehicle's oil drain plug. We had to purchase an "extractor kit" to remove the plug...obtain a replacement oil drain plug, and finally was able to get her oil changed in Mineola. According to the Deceptive Trade Practices Act of Texas, charging for an improperly performed automotive procedure, especially if you ruined an OEM part of the vehicle, constitutes fraud per se. Subsequently, from different stores and people, we have learned that many people have had their oil drain plugs ruined at the Lindale Walmart, managed by Don Hines, in exactly the same way. We have transferred all our business, all our prescriptions, all our shopping to the Mineola Walmart. The Lindale store is dying, customers are opting to drive to the Mineola store which has a friendly staff, excellent manager, fully stocked, good prices. It's worth the extra miles to go to the Mineola store. I would urge anyone who shops at Walmart, to avoid the Lindale Walmart Supercenter like the plague. I have buying the same wine there for years at $9.99. Then it went to $10.99.. Last week to $13.99. Yesterday to $14.99.. This is such sticking it to their customers. Went to BROOKSHIRES here in Lindale it was $11.99.. I know that brookshires is higher than Walmart but I really thinking of changing stores for my monthly $1000.00 for groceries,fuel,and staples. Went to Walmart with my friend to buy floppy hats, walked out with floppy hats, kombucha, muffins and some produce. The cashier gave me back change that was ten dollars short ( honest mistake) and joked about it when I pointed it out. Must be all the employees putting in these yelp references. I have knee and back problems. Came to Lindale Texas to shop. There were 3 electric handicap vehicles and they are all broke. There were 2 others which were out of power. I asked how long it takes to charge these things and they said 2 hours. It is 2:30 pm. When am I to shop 2:30 am? If carts aren't broke then they are out of power. Pathetic!! They were out of 9 months age "Earth's best organic" baby food and an antiseptic I needed. Decided to go to Brookshire's. read more

I love this Walmart but the pharmacy stinks!! I moved my prescriptions to Eagles Pharmacy in Lindale. May be a little higher priced but well worth it to avoid the MAJOR malfunction, struggle and incompetent service Walmarts pharmacy puts you through. read more
