My husband purchased some tires online for his pickup truck and had them delivered to the Walmart Auto Care Center for installation at store #2565 in Madison Heights, VA. The tires were purchased from Walamrt.com. The appointment was set for 11:00 a.m. today 7/10/24 and at 11:38 I received an email saying the installation service had been cancelled and a refund was being processed. What? When my husband got home I asked if he had gotten the tires put on and he verified that he did indeed, have new tires on the truck. I looked at the paperwork provided by this auto center and saw a completely incorrect address printed as ours. The address was in CT and we reside in VA! The employees did not verify our address or anything with my husband but I guess they assumed he drove from CT just to have tires put on his truck in VA. I have no clue what they were thinking, or better yet, if they were thinking at all. Now, I will have to say, the address they printed was in my address list as I once sent someone a gift from Walmart, however; the name on that address wasn't even close to ours. No one even verified my husband's name. I have now spent over one hour trying to contact someone in the tire center, but no one will answer the phones. They ring until I am automatically disconnected. I tried once to call the store and talk with the operator, who proceeded to say how sick she is of the tire auto care center not answering their phones and asked if I had tried to call them directly. Really? Um, yes, I've tried multiple times. She said she would page them and say there was an incoming call and that they had better answer the phone. She transferred my call and again, no one answered. Subsequent attempts to reach the store operator so I could ask to speak directly with the store manager were unsuccessful. I guess the operator(s) decided they weren't going to answer the phones either. I ended up calling the Walmart Customer Complaint line and the young man said he had received multiple complaints about this store and would immediately send my complaint via email to the store manager. Sadly, I don't know whether to believe him or not and in all honesty, I have no confidence that the complaint will even be addressed by the management. I will be looking for my refund which might be nice even though the service was done. This store needs to get it's act together or be closed. If they aren't concerned about losing money, I'm not worried about it. Not my job! read more

This store sucks doesn't come close to how bad this store is save your time go to food lion. An for home goods an lawn hit big lots.

This place sucks BIG TIME. A lot of the workers are rude, they do not have enough help. All those registers and no one to open them. Lines backed up into middle of the store and have 4 registers open. Get rid of the registers and put in more self check outs. And the carts suck, with the prices you charge go BUY NEW ONES. Also STOCK THE SHELVES. This place looks like a ghost town, they don't carry anything anymore. I'll drive to Lynchburg before I shop here again and even the Food Lion in Madison Heights suck. Madison Heights does not have a Grocery store with a crap. read more

This is not aimed at Madison Heights Walmart directly , but ordered an on-line item . Informed it would be here April 17 2020. The order was delayed until April 20, 2020 which is understandable with what's going on in the world. The order was supposed to be ready by 6:00 pm. Well as you can guess it was not ready and was told via email April 20, 2020 that it was delayed again. Don't know when it will be ready for pick up. read more

We would give no starts if it were an option. My husband and I have shopped many Walmarts over the years. This one is astoundingly un-stocked; no selections even if stocked. Meat on display that is gray and green, rotten, still out days past expiration. You can't trust sell by dates on anything they have refrigerated; milk, cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, biscuits and such all spoil days before the sell by/use by dates. My husband was in last week and they were pulling milk off the shelves that still had good dates. He asked the clerk pulling the milk what's up and he said "You don't want to know.". We have wasted so much money throwing away food that is still supposed to be good; it's ridiculous. I mean, the warehouse isn't far away from that location. Why can't they keep their food safely refrigerated? We now go to Food Lion and NEVER again to any Walmart for food. read more

Sunday and only auto service open is walmart. So went to the auto service center to get an oil change and tire rotation,simple right, WRONG. Had a coupon that was downloaded from there site, supposedly it's a Goodyear service center, for $10 off... NOT, coupon not valid at there location, first problem, don't offer something on your website that's not accepted at your store and then after words they tell me that they couldn't rotate the tires because they were not worn even, YEA, that's why I need them rotated DUMB@$$, So I went home pulled the tires myself and all I found was one front tires that was wearing a little uneven on the inside tread, on the right front. You would think that the wire belts were showing the way they put it. Any way save yourself time and aggravation and go to a real shop for your auto service. This place is a joke. read more

As soon as I walked in I noticed the floor people aren't too friendly . A smile goes a long way

I went in to have a simple rotation. When I left there was a horrible noise from the tires. Husband went back and spent 4 hours there. They could not figure out what it was. Had to have mechanic look at it. On top of that they put a Lexus cap on my tire. Called in and the worker said they had so many from other cars but could not find mine. Manager would call. Still no call. Horrible service! Apparently forget to put caps on tires or put the wrong cap on the wrong car. read more
