The Wal-Mart in Mayfield is a disappointment. 1. Frequently staff will walk away from you when you are looking for an item or needing assistance. I've had workers literally almost knock me over trying to stock a shelf, scowl at me for being in their aisle during re-stock time, and bark at me in answer to a question. The deli counter? Generally has three people working, all doing different tasks, none even greeting the customer at the counter (not even to say they will be right with us). 2. This is the third time that I've been to Automotive to get my oil changed in the morning when they first open!! they're never open on time there late so today for Instance I was parked at the door it was 8 :15 before the door even opened and when the door open there was Walmart employee and a customer walked past me as I'm standing outside in 36 degree weather. He unlock the door I couldn't see a name badge. He never spoke never greeted and I asked where they open yet while he was about 5 steps passed where I was standing at the door. He said yeah but he was first. I didn't care about him being first it was the fact that the employee walked past and didn't say mam how are you we're open he's first can you move your car. Not a word spoken like I had to force him to talk. The time before that was the lady that works back in automotive there in the Mayfield store. I watched in the garage door two people standing in the bay looking at me and not a single person unlock the door This time the door was unlocked at 8:23 she was very hateful she never greeted either . All she said is what do you need not how may I help you . So I felt if you're not a morning person that you don't need to open or be in the front line back there because all it takes is is one thing to be said wrong to ruin someone's day for the entire shopping experience. I was pissed off on how I was greeted There's no come back after that. There couldn't have been a nice enough employee from Walmart to make that whole situation better It just leaves a bad taste in that customers mouth. Now I do understand that everybody is not a morning person or somebody might have something going on that day or all night but you don't bring that s*** to work. Being pissy is not the new in. Be grateful that you have a job there are some that don't have a job that can get a job that would love to replace the ones with those shity ass attitudes. And the time before that I had to call the service desk to ask what time Automotive open because again it was late when the door was unlocked and I was standing back there when they open and guess what 20 minutes after 8 when their door was unlocked. Not a single I'm sorry that were laid or hello how are you how can I help you again what do you need. speaking on Automotive when you go back there and they do the completion what they check off what they've done what they checked what's been completed... first of all they don't vacuum the cars they don't refill anything thats supposed to fill up under the hood. The things advertise that you paid for in your oil changed they don't do. And when they balance rotate tires the caps that go on your tires they don't ever put them back on the tires. I end up buying more caps EVERY TIME I can tell you how many times I have been to Walmart throughout the weeks and about I how much I spend every trip. I go to Walmart about two -three times a week. And the people that I see on a weekly basis are in Walmart about the same amount of times I am. So I had decided I will be damned if I spend any more money at f****** Mayfield Walmart I will rather travel and waste the gas to go to Paducah to get whatever I Need. But spoiler alert I will not buy s*** out of Walmart ever f****** again It's pretty bad Customer service and Mayfield Walmart is horrible and it makes all other Walmart stores look pretty bad too. Nobody wants to be frustrated while they're shopping because of customer service it's no different and then you go through the checkout line and the cashier won't even say thank you have a good day I don't give a s*** about have a good day tell me thank you for the fact that I'm spending my money in the store. Then that goes to people think of it won't you just go through the u-scan I'll be damned if I'm going to bag my groceries that I take the time to shop in the store. Do you scan machines don't tell me thank you I want cashier action for them to tell me thank you to be grateful that me Me and other customers contribute to the cashier's or the employees of Walmartpaycheck by us coming in and spending our hard earned money. This is the most poorly run Walmart that I have seen in several states. Empty spots on shelves, materials and return carts all over. They look like they are in a remodel when they are not, and the remodels take forever. It looks like no one in charge cares. read more
