I was pleasantly surprised with this Walmart! 1) Parking was kind of a pain to find, but I ended up just parking farther away and walking. 2) Their produce section is decent! I was actually able to find avocados that didn't feel like water balloons. 3) The rest of the store is pretty darn organized. I walked through several other aisles (frozen included) and everything was clean and neat. 4) I was kind of disappointed that they didn't have single Chobani plain greek yogurt, but I ended up just getting the giant tub. 5) The best thing about this Walmart is that they have self-checkout! I had things that needed to be weighed (and I was very unfamiliar with this process despite considering myself a 'Self-Checkout Connoisseur), but the ladies that were watching the area were EXTREMELY helpful. 6) There was nothing horribly wrong with this Walmart and I've been to many. It wasn't overly crowded, the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful, and they had what I needed. read more

The reason for giving a five star ratings is due to going the other day and being greeted at the self paying aisle by Queen. This girl made my day!!! I came from work and her sunny disposition, her cheerful greeting made my spirit soar. Customer service at its best!!! Flagler St, Miami, FL 33174 Incident Date - 12/12/2020 Let me begin with on December 10th at 2am we decided to camp out on this location for the next day drop of PS5 that were suppose to be coming in the next day. I was number 8 in line and was accompanied by number 9 in line. we camped out till the following morning around 3-4 we made friends with the people in front of us and made a camp out group. once the Manager Angel showed up he stated he wasnt even sure that there would be any at all of course we decided to stick to our guns and take our chances. it was either this or miss out on the chance of getting it for my nephew. its been a very hard year and quarantine has made things twice as hard, I didnt stand a chance vs the bots. I stayed away from my exclusivly breastfed baby for the chance. Well Angel kept walking in and out of the store speaking to another gentleman that had no Walmart shirt. After hours of waiting the truck arrives and Angel comes out to tell us he checked the list and the truck and there was not ONE PLAYSTATION. we stayed in hopes maybe some would pop up after 14 hours a couple more hours would hurt. UNTIL ANGEL CAME OUT AND TOLD WE COULD NOT STAY THERE AND THAT THERE WAS NO PLAYSTATION WE NEEDED TO GO TO OUR CARS. I cannot stress how friendly the staff at this Walmart is. Publix is not the only place where shopping is a pleasure. Best people are the Pick up counter employees. Walmart has everything you can think of, so basically it's my home away from home. Not only are the women helpless but are also extremely rude. The other day I went with my mother to purchase a couple things for school and as I was walking I overheard an employee speaking Spanish to one of her coworkers so I thought she could help my mom THAT ONLY SPEAKS SPANISH. Think again, there was an American girl who did all the helping , she helped my mom find all the items she needed, again my mom speaks no English whatsoever. The employees name was 'Rachel' if I recall correctly. she was super sweet and tried her hardest rather then the other employee (didn't get her name) that actually knew Spanish and was doing nothing, just told us she didn't know where the items was and to find someone else because she was busy even though she was the only one in the department she wouldn't help me. read more

I came here initially because I was looking for a Walmart that has a Vision Center near me. It ended up being around 40 minutes away because of traffic but that's fine, no pain no gain. Since I've never been to a SuperCenter, I had no idea where to go so I was asking around (which by the way, most people here don't understand English so just a heads up). I was shuffled around until a lady told me to wait by the pharmacy; that they would assist me. Unfortunately, the pharmacy blinds were closed and to my assumption, it was lunch time for everyone. I wait around half an hour and still no one is there. People begin forming a line, waiting for this pharmacy to open. I become more and more frustrated so I go around asking for a manager, until I find her and she tells me that there's no Vision Center there; that I need to drive a few more miles to the next nearest Walmart. By then, I just wanted to go home and felt like I wasted too much time already. Considering no one was deliberately rude with me, I'm giving this place two stars. A shopping center(like mostly any other place) cannot run efficiently when your own employees can't even comprehend what I am saying or just don't even know what their place of employment has to offer. By far the worse Walmart I've ever been to. I try to avoid this place and only come here as a last resort. I've come here more times than I would have liked and each time it's always the same. Assistance of any sort is impossible if you don't speak Spanish. Employees always look like they're miserable. The don't let you return merchandise without a receipt even though their policy states "with or without receipt". Their price match guarantee is pretty much bullshit. This Walmart has the worst customer service! My daughter received a RCA 10" tablet DVD combo from her grandparents for Christmas. When we finally got around to opening it and setting it up, it was terrible! I tried returning it last week with the receipt and was advised Walmart has a "15 day window for electronic returns". Steven, the manager, guaranteed if I took it to the homestead Walmart, where it was purchased, they would be able to overwrite since it was a Christmas gift. I tried calling the homestead Walmart to confirm what Steven assured us was correct, but wasn't able to reach a manager (go figure). After driving to homestead, waiting 45minutes to speak to a manager we were flat out told no and that what Steven promised us, was incorrect. This is my go to Walmart as it's close to my house. Though the shelves are never stocked, store is disorganized, the lines are always extremely long, young kids love to come in leave a mess, and employees look as if they have SUPER LOW MORALE. Upper management seems to never place enough staff on the registers. I've had time to waste, so I've sat around and people watched as "managers" rudely speak to their supervisors and employees when they are the ones who are face to face with the crazy customers all the time. It always seems like the people are going to lunch or leaving at the same time, maybe upper management should do a better job at scheduling the employees hours. The crazy customers are never understanding (but when are they? Lol). I go quite often to this store (despite the mess) and I am always greeted by a friendly familiar face, Paula, who works customer service. She always seem to be everywhere and trying to help with everything. read more

Hello, I want to describe my shopping experience at this Walmart store. I went to visit here and I passed by the pet section and discovered a horrendous sight. In the Betta Fish Display area stacked on the rows above the sink, I uncovered a Betta Fish placed inside a cup with a DECOMPOSING Betta Fish eaten in half!!! I am completely shocked and appalled by the unnerving discovery I stumbled upon. I cannot believe the horrific conditions this poor living being was placed in, let to rot in filthy, contaminated water with another decomposing corpse in the same container! I went to search for the employee in charge of the pet department. I approached a woman and asked her if she was in charge and she said yes and I told her of the terrible situation. She responded in a very rude and unprofessional way telling me she didn't care and I could do whatever I felt like doing. I was shocked at this unwelcoming and rude gesture by an EMPLOYEE who is in charge of the Fish Department!!! I went to look for the manager, Mike, and he wasn't even present to respond to my requests and concerns as one must answer to a customer. I left the store traumatized from the horrendous shopping experience. Not even close to being my favorite Walmart. The place feel cramps. Pallets of stuff all over the stores i feel like i am in the project complex. Appearance aside, the store is well functional and well stocks. The cashiers leave a lot of be desire as many of them (not all) are god awful slow. which is unique to this Walmart where it is usually the customers who are slow. By far the worst Christmas tree purchasing experience i have ever had. There's a few Xmas trees outside and no one outside to help. Then after waiting in the regular huge lines because there is never enough registers open the lady didn't know how to ring up a Xmas tree. She goes outside and takes a picture of the price tag with her phone and goes inside to ring it up. Then we have to choose a tree without even being able to open it and check it out. There is no rope outside to tie the tree to the roof because it obviously doesn't go in the car. And again no one to help mount it in the car. Hello, I am inquiring regarding the sale of live animals. I recently visited a Walmart store and I passed by the animal section and encountered a surprising sight. I saw 15 betta fish in plastic containers with water filled up halfway and with completely orange water, barely visible. I had to contact an employee and stacked up the entire sink area with sick bettas on top of each other. I want to report this traumatic encounter I had with this unacceptable treatment towards live fish. I am disappointed in the way Walmart Corporation is treating live animals without the proper research and sanitary care. I would like to request Walmart to please research the necessary water changing conditions for live betta fish without the need to create inhumane living conditions for them as they are living beings who require care. I also didn't find an employee who specifically was in or monitoring the pet department. I went to the store to buy a betta fish and left upset with emotional trauma from the store. Love this new location, it is very convenient for me but last time i went there the store manager Karen i think is her name, she was working in the afternoon shift was treating her employees so bad and I went to her to ask her some information and told me that she was going in five minutes to her lunch that she can not help me, she turn around on my face and still screaming to employees. The new Walmart is very close to my house. I decided to change my medications to the Pharmacy at this location. BIG MISTAKE! the customer service is terrible!!! they called me telling me my medications were ready, when I get there, they asked me, what medications? they looked in the system and they said who told you they were ready? then I had to wait more than 30 minutes to get them .That was my first experience. The other four times there were always an issue with the medications. The last time I went the customer service agent said "Didn't somebody tell you? one of the medications is not in stock (or something like that). You can get something similiar at the counter". That was her solution to the problem. Well, my health insurance company is not going to pay for that and she should know that. I decided to change pharmacy again. The store itself is OK but they need to do something with the lighting and parking. And with the cashiers! Only two cashiers working, big lines. There were having a meeting and people in the lines waiting to be helped. I don't know what's going on there but they need more organization and better customer service. I'm not writing about every employee at the store but those at the pharmacy and at the cashier center. And please, do not forget to take care of the fish!!!! I don't know why Walmart sell them but if they are going to do it, I hope they are taking good care of them. Anyways. I am not going back to that Walmart.
