This place is often filled with people, because the food is that good, and the plates are rather large. Unless you're starving I'd advise sharing a plate if you're with someone. I had the Nutella French Toast, and it was large and tasty. I couldn't have finished it on my own, but luckily I didn't go alone lol.
We came in after landing in Miami and to wait out the time until our hotel room was ready and were seated immediately. Our waitress was so friendly and sweet, giving us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted to order. I ordered a mimosa with a passionfruit popsicle and the Frida French toast (which was stuffed with prosciutto , manchego cheese, guava sauce and topped with two sunny side up eggs) with a side of bacon. The guava sauce complimented all the other flavors perfectly and pulled the whole sandwich together fabulously. The sandwich was delicious and quite big. My bacon was cooked perfectly crispy and so tasty. The mimosa was also delicious but, as it melted, the passionfruit popsicle made it super sweet and a little messy. It was my first time having a mimosa this way and I did enjoy the spectacle of it all. The restaurant itself is beautiful and airy, quintessential Miami vibes. I highly recommend checking them out for brunch.
Stopped in the get a bite to eat & was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were seated due to a Graduation crowd in the area. Soon after being seated, our Server came to the table to take care of Us. He was very pleasant & we connected over my shades (he was happy that I shared the info with him). We ordered the Chicken & Waffles which came out promptly. The food was well done & their Hot Honey condiment needs to be sold in stores. If you're in Downtown Miami, pull up to Bistro Café. #MallyMalApproved
Stopped by Bistro Café for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered the pastrami pressed sandwich with breakfast potatoes, and it was excellent. The pastrami was flavorful, the bread was perfectly toasted, and the sandwich was stacked with ingredients. The breakfast potatoes were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great side. I also tried the waffles with Nutella, fresh fruit, and whipped cream, and they were delicious. The waffles were light and fluffy, and the fresh fruit balanced everything out really well. The coffee presentation was unique, served with a chocolate cookie crumble rim that added a nice touch. I also really liked the ambiance of the place it had a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a good brunch. Overall, great food, generous portions, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. And the service was amazing also!!

The portions are HUGE and the menu can honestly feel a little overwhelming at first. The waiters will even recommend checking out their Instagram to see pictures before ordering, which actually helps a lot. I've been here numerous times and have tried so many things off the menu. It does get busy, especially on weekends, and sometimes there's a long wait outside. Just be prepared for that because it's popular for a reason. Service is always good and they really try their best to help first timers navigate the menu and recommend dishes. They're patient and used to people asking a lot of questions. The papa griegas with skirt steak is by far my favorite dish. It's honestly big enough to share with two people. I tried it with chicken this time and it just didn't hit the same. The skirt steak version is undefeated. The pastrami sandwich was also really good and super satisfying. Ambiance wise, it's lively and bright with lots of seating inside and some outdoor seating as well. It feels energetic and fun, perfect for brunch with friends. I would 100 percent recommend coming. Just plan ahead and expect a wait if you're going during peak weekend hours.
Finally got the chance to try Bistro Café after eyeing it for a while. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating--we were able to get a table for six with only a 25-minute wait. The food is fresh and comes out quickly. The menu is very large, so I recommend looking it up beforehand, as it can be a bit overwhelming. My favorite dish was the crème brûlée French toast; it was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. My fiancé and I shared the French toast along with an omelet, which worked out great since the portion sizes are generous and easily shareable. The steak omelet was especially satisfying--they definitely did not skimp on the steak. I recommend ordering one savory dish and one sweet dish. As for the drinks, we all ordered coffee. The iced latte was good, though it came unsweetened--I'm not sure if they offer syrup sweeteners, so I'd recommend asking if you prefer it sweetened. That said, the coffee was nice and strong with no complaints. Overall decently priced for the amount of food you receive, I would come here again.
What a nice place for my recovery brunch! This past Sunday, after running the "Give Miami 5K" in nearby Bayfront Park, myself and friends from my gym headed up here for brunch. I've been to the Gables location before and love their tasty and well presented brunch delicacies. Ours was a group of 10 and after a reasonable wait, we were able to sit into adjacent tables. Fashionwise, we were not necessarily in our Sunday best but rather with our racing T-shirts and number bibs. We still had great timely service. I appreciate the fact that our servers weren't trying to rush us out. My "hydration" started in the form of a well blended espresso martini, even with coffee beans. I also tried the spicy margarita with the boozy paleta a friend ordered. Since I was starving from the run itself, as well as not having eaten since the early afternoon before, "comí con los ojos" and ordered both their Chicken Trifongo as well as a Nutella French toast. The trifongo was really yummy! Picture of bed of fried green plantain "tostones" sitting on a sweet waffle, topped with a sunny side up egg and then surrounded by pieces of grilled chicken and garnished with red onion. It was well flavored, and I had enough to take his leftovers for lunch at work. My two very large pieces of French toast, generously spread with Nutella and various berries was a sweet ending. I had enough to share bikes with my team as well as take home.
Nice decor and modern ambience in downtown perfect after a matinee performance at the Arsht. Loaded avocado was massive! Two could eat from this (or I ate the left overs twice over!) the guava sauce add just the right amount of sweetness to the chicken without being overboard and the pickled onions balanced it out Mango matcha was phenomenal: natural, no syrups and just the right amount of sweetness
This trendy restaurant in Miami is a popular spot known for its breakfast and brunch menu. The menu is bilingual English and Spanish. It was packed and crowded when we walked in on a Sunday during lunch. They took our name and we waited outside in line for about 25 minutes before being seated. The ambiance is very vibrant with a cool decor. They have a pretty extensive menu. I had the Smoked Salmon Croissant with goat cheese $18. It was good. My friend had eggs that were too runny. The server was very friendly and efficient.
Of course there is always a line and a wait for this place. And the food took quite a while to come out after we ordered. There are so many menu options it's kind of overwhelming. But lots to choose from and try! We got the lobster eggs Benedict which was good. Also the crème brûlée French toast which was not too sweet and had a nice crust. It's tourist prices because it's a tourist spot. Had to sit outside because inside was full. They had cool music playing outside though. It's a cool spot to take visitors from out of town but def not my go to breakfast spot.
I visited this restaurant the day that I touched down in Miami and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The service, menu and food was DELICIOUS! Jamie was our server and she was great. She was attentive and made perfect recommendations. I had the omelette with lamb and now, if my omelette doesn't have lamb, then, I DON'T WANT IT! I also had the cremé brulee French toast, and it was also delicious. My friend enjoyed her food as well. The restaurant was so good that, we brought our friend for lunch the next day to celebrate her birthday. I raved about my food so much so she ordered the same thing that I had the previous day. They gave her a complimentary dessert and sang a happy birthday song for her, too. She loved every bit of it. All in all, this is a must on your food tour in North Miami. 10/10, highly recommend.
When I tell you this place has the BEST waffles I've ever had in my life! There's such a big menu they literally have everything, from sandwiches, to breakfast, brunch, avocado toast, burgers, etc. The shrimp and chicken wrap was amazing very tasteful with a bunch of different flavors and the sauce was so good!! The drinks are made so fancy too with so much extra stuff on top. I would definitely come back again and this is a must visit place to come to!
YELP! It's time to move to 10 stars, because Bistro Cafe, deserves a 10 OUT OF 10 Damnit!!! When I tell you, this place is amazing, it's absolutely amazing, from the interior, to the staff, and the food! Just finished our 6 day anniversary cruise and my wife found this Bistro from the reviews. This was a brunch stop before hitting the airport. We started off with mimosas, my wife had the cotton candy mimosa and I had the margarita mimosa. Great way to start off, they were delicious! My wife order the French Toast with Scrambled Eggs & Diced Potatoes. I ordered the Chapulín Egg white omelette with pancakes...let me tell yall something..The BEST Omelette I have ever had you hear me. Huge shoutout to the chef! We loved the all the food, but I truly loved the omelette. When I come back to Miami, I'm calling yall ahead of time cause this was everything I needed! Bistro's Cafe absolutely lived up to the hype! We came for brunch right after getting off our cruise, and I can confidently say this will be a must-visit every time we're back in Miami. The food was AMAZING! We definitely got a little carried away ordering because everything sounded so good, and for just my husband and me, our bill came to around $150. The portions were MUCH bigger than we expected, so I'd actually recommend ordering a little less than you think you need because you'll leave stuffed! That crème brûlée French toast was truly CHEF's KISSSSSSSSSSSSS! I would fly back just to have it again! The drinks were great too, but let me warn you... that Cotton Candy Mimosa is SWEET. Whew! If you have a serious sweet tooth, you'll absolutely love it. The atmosphere was such a vibe. The music was right up my alley, and the entire restaurant had such a fun energy. On top of that, our servers were phenomenal and made the experience even better. One piece of advice: get there EARLY. We arrived shortly after leaving our cruise and were seated without an issue, but while we were there, I heard people being quoted anywhere from a 30-minute wait to over an hour. If it's your last morning before heading home, that may not fit your schedule, but I can honestly say it's worth the wait. Amazing food, great service, fun atmosphere, and an experience we'll definitely be coming back for. Bistro's Cafe has earned a permanent spot on my Miami list! read more

Recently had the privilege of dining at Bistro Cafe in Miami for brunch. We made a last-minute decision to dine here, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. While breakfast isn't normally my favorite type of meal, this was definitely a 5-star meal. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was completely packed. Alejandra, our server, was amazing and went above and beyond. The restaurant was beautifully designed and had a modern look to it. Now on to the real star of the show, the food. Every dish was wonderful and prepared to look Instagram-worthy. The portions were huge and definitely filling. This may have been one of my best meals while in Miami. From the French toast with fresh fruit to the huevos enojados , there were no disappointments. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends, family, and strangers! read more
I really loved having brunch a bistro cafe. The food looks exactly like it does on social media in person, and if you see something on their instagram you like, ask for it because it might not be on their menu but they'll serve you. great customer service and ambiance, we sat outside on a gorgeous morning and ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and steak egg Benedict. 10/10 and a huge portion! Okay I came again! This place is so good. Our server was so nice and helpful. He told us portion sizes are large so we can share, which I definitely remembered from last time. We ordered something like a McGriddle and it was sooo good!!! It was perfect! Oh and I got this lavender latte, and they smoked the lavender...smelled so good. Don't skip this spot! It's becoming a staple of mine when I come into town. I recommend it to everyone going to Miami. read more

This is my go to brunch spot to bring my friends visiting Miami. They have a huge menu with quality ingredients. I've tried multiple omelettes and they are always filled to the max just like this one. They have huge portions and really make every dish/drink feel special. My pistachio latte was sweet and filled with pistachio flavor with the addition of the pistachio crème and roasted pistachios on the rim. If you're a coffee drinker who wants a sweet treat this is for you. The coffee flavor wasn't that strong so if you like to taste coffee I wouldn't order this. The staff shared with us we could see pictures of each dish on Instagram which was very helpful if you need a visual. The menu is both in English and Spanish. The space is open and well designed and clean. It definitely gives the Miami experience! read more
I came here with a friend after seeing all of the wonderful reviews. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. It was busy, but there were plenty of tables. We were sat immediately outside. The menu is huge! The waitress was great! She showed us a QR code where we could see pictures of the menu items. I ordered a hot lavender latte and my friend ordered an iced lavender latte. They were delicious! I ordered the vegetable omelette with a side of tostones and a side of French toast. My friend ordered the Pepe salad, but she didn't want the three different kinds of protein that it comes with. She only wanted steak, so they took out the chicken and shrimp and added extra steak. It came with two different kinds of dressing. A vinaigrette and a creamy garlic cilantro. (The cilantro sauce was great with the tostones.) The salad was HUGE! She was full and it didn't look like she'd had any of the salad! It could be two or three meals! I was only able to eat half of my omelette and half of the tostones. I didn't even touch my French toast. The portions are huge, so even if you're starving when you arrive, you'll be fine if you don't order any sides. Everything was super yummy! Our bill was about $100 with tip. I think tip might have been added, but our waitress was so nice we tipped extra anyway. I look forward to returning soon. I highly recommend trying this restaurant at least once. read more

I would like to say for this establishment to be so busy they literally had the best customer service, moved with a sense of urgency and the food was delivered hot! The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with the extensive menu. It's in Spanish and English! It was very clean including the bathrooms. I would definitely go every time I'm in Miami! Highly recommend and you should definitely share the portions are huge! read more

This cafe is located on the corner of an apartment building, there is valet parking for ten dollars(validated by restaurant). My party was able to find street parking, which is cheaper. We were a party of nine, luckily we didn't have to wait long for a table. This could be that we went on a week day around 11. Plan accordingly because the restaurant did get crowded and they do not take reservations. Additionally, they can only split the check into two. So have cash to avoid having to split the check. Gratuities were already included in our bill. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Luis our waiter was kind, friendly, and did a great job explaining the menu. He was attentive to our table and make sure we were good. The food was fresh and delicious. Their portions are large, you can share if your group is not big eaters. I would try this restaurant again but their Coral Gables location. I didn't like searching for street parking(cheaper). read more

How has it taken me this long to find this insanely delicious brunch spot in the heart of Miami? No clue how this gem slipped by me, but I'm glad I finally discovered it--especially on a day like Mother's Day. When I found out they don't do reservations, I figured a 10 a.m. arrival would keep us ahead of the super rush and avoid a "Miami" wait. Spoiler: we got there at 10:30, and the line was already thick--about 45-50 min wait. Honestly, I didn't think it was too bad for a special Sunday, so we rolled with it and waited happily. The saying goes--if there's a line, it's for good reason. We went for first available which was an inside table. The place is a real vibe--bright, lively, and full of energy. Stunning dishes kept passing by, a photographer was snapping shots of families, and even with all the hustle, the staff was chill, very friendly, and keeping it cool. While checking out the diversely large menu as well as crazy Instagram only menu items, I started with a pistachio latte. It was served in a rimmed glass coated with pistachio crème--hard to resist spooning the glass clean. When it was time to order, we debated sharing, but nah--we decided to go all out and take leftovers home, which most folks seemed to be doing anyway. We went for the Shrimp Avocado Toast, Crème Brûlée French Toast with berry compote and Nutella, and the Papas Mar & Tierra--a fire savory steak and shrimp bowl loaded with onions, tomatoes, peppers, sweet plantains, chimichurri, tzatziki, feta, and a fried egg with extra cheese. The presentation alone is Instagram gold, but the flavors? They totally deliver--hit all the right spots. Everything tasted amazing, if I had to have a comment to do anything different would be to have a poached egg on top of my avocado toast. Guess what, I'll have to add it on my next visit read more
Had the best breakfast and service at Bistro Café! The food was absolutely delicious--the latte was a piece of art, the Romeo and Julieta French toast was indulgent and flavorful, and the Romano omelette was cooked to perfection. We stopped here to kill some time and have some breakfast after a redeye flight and we're so glad we found this place. The lomo saltado was delicious and the steak super tender. The blueberry pancakes were also to die for and I highly recommend them. The service was quick, the ambiance was very upscale and nice, best of all, it's easy to get at and there's street parking. read more
The food here was excellent with great drinks! I showed up pretty early for brunch and was able to walk right in to get a table, but the place did get busier as the morning progressed. They have pretty large serving sizes, but the food was great! Knowing that, this place could be a fun spot to share meals or to plan to have leftovers! Had a great experience! Staff seated us fast and were very accommodating of questions and menu selections. Our server Carlos was funny and very cool to us. We ordered a latte and mango margaritas to drink. We ordered a skirt steak eggs Benedict (medium) and a papas Griegas (steak) which was out of this world delicious. The inside was very spacious and very appealing to the eye. Very chill vibe and great energy from everyone! 10/10 will be back soon! read more
What a gem in Downtown/Wynwood Miami. We were staying at the Hilton Downtown and this was walking distance for a sit down brunch spot. We arrived at 9:45 AM or so and were immediately seated. They have plenty of tables and an outside patio that wraps around the building. The menu is overwhelming - our server was insightful to suggest we go to the IG page for photos. We found a few interesting plates and ordered our meals. They have lots of interesting coffee drinks and cocktails. They don't have sugar free options or even decaffeinated coffee which was disappointing. The meals came out fast and a few glitches here too. The sauce had a hair in it. Then I found one in my mixed greens salad. This is an indicator they're not wearing head coverings in the kitchen. Truly sad for the price point of this establishment but it didn't ruin our experience. I'd give the extra stars if we could have left less frustrated. Go at your own risk. read more

A very unique brunch spot with pink glitter coffee and well thought out dish arrangements! We got the Zeus sandwich and the Mofongo. Service was top notch. The presentation of food is the most unique thing about this spot. The ambiance was quite loud but still enjoyable. We sat at a barstool table. This is a must try brunch spot! read more
If your motto is "phone eats first" then this is your spot. Family and I were in the neighborhood after a soccer training and looking for a place to have breakfast. After a quick check on trusty Yelp I saw Bistro Cafe had a lot of good reviews and decided to give it a try. Parking seems to be limited street parking and or valet. We lucked out and found a spot a block away. Our wait was about 20-25 minutes since we had no reservations which wasn't so bad based on the line of folks that were outside waiting to be seated. We took that time to peruse the menu. I was somewhat dizzy by what seemed like an immense amount of options. I was not a fan of the menu. But once we got sat I was hoping to get more guidance from our server. Well that guidance came in the way of telling me to scan a barcode on the app so I can be directed to their social media page and can look at all the dishes there. Which may be OK for some but I prefer more old school warmth and chatter with the server. To her credit I wasn't sure if she was double sat or triple sat but what was obvious was that she was multitasking instead of focusing and making us feel welcomed. We finally decided on the Nutella French Toast, Revuelto Queso and the Huevos Enojados. We also ordered Strawberry Lemonade and a regular Croissant. As we waited for the food I noticed everyone around us was snapping pictures of their food and these over the top drinks. But what I also noticed was many bussers cleaning up the tables with half the drinks still unfinished. The food arrived and they definitely were impressive plates. I also pulled out my phone and did the deed. But in the end it's all about the food. And the food overall was ok. My eyes never rolled back or toes curled. The French Toast was really good but how can you mess up French Toast and Nutella. The Huevos Enojados description said guava sauce and spicy sauce, well I barely tasted any. My wife's Revuelto Queso had a lot of food and overall it was good but again nothing exciting. I would say the best thing we ate the whole time there was the Croissant. I had read from fellow Yelpers that this was a must and it did not disappoint. If I would go back it would be for these Croissants alone. So buttery and flaky but also the drizzle of honey and they toast it just right. It was heavenly. But unfortunately outside of that we weren't really thrilled about the experience. We felt rushed not just by the server but also by the bussers. I felt they were hovering around us like vultures waiting to clear our plates. So it felt very transactional. And speaking about transactional, 18% is automatically included on any check over $50 which unless you go alone it's gonna be over that amount. Prices are a bit steep but it's value comes partly in the portion size. Every plate I saw come out was more than one serving by a mile. But overall it's a trendy spot that lends itself to great social media pictures and in Miami that's 85% of the business. read more
Solid brunch spot that has a huge line on the weekend, but it moves fast. The menu is enormous and a bit overwhelming, but there is something for everyone on it. The space is large and the service is very fast and friendly, so they are able to turn tables quickly. IG worthy coffee and cocktail drinks are pricey, but they have an eye catching presentation coupled with an element of novelty that makes you want to order one - my friend got a pretty mojito mimosa with a popsicle in it that had visible slices of fruit, and I had a spicy margarita where you could inject the amount of pineapple juice you wanted. We enjoyed how both drinks tasted. For food we opted for the chicken and waffles and the lomo saltado avocado relleno. The portions are huge, you easily can get 2 meals worth from one entree. While the lomo was tasty I did not get much vinegar, as it was overpowered by the saltiness of the soy. My friend's chicken and waffle was a large chicken breast that had a well seasoned batter, but wasn't juicy. Overall we thought the food was okay. If you value variety, presentation, and quantity this is a good brunch pick. read more

What is the best time to go for brunch on a Saturday?
Get there fairly early to avoid the crowd. ~10:30 AM I would recommend. Service is pretty good/quick so you'll be eating by regular brunch time.

How do I make a reservation?
When I called, they did not do reservations. My best advice if you are going on a weekend is to go around 9AM.
What is parking like?
It's paid downtown street parking so you have to search a little bit to find a space. A free parking space may be a block or so away from the restaurant

No, I went before my daughter's bday to see if they took reservations and the answer was NO, and when I went it was packed.... hello aren't you supposed to be at half capacity due to COVID? I'll wait, then maybe go but no thanks not waiting hours to…
Do they have tripletas? Don't see it on the menu but it's a common Puerto Rican sandwich
