The eye center customer service is horrific. They reply no before you can ask a question. I went to get my son some glasses and asked them to pull my insurance benefits because I started a new job. I ordered a pair of AirPods on a Black Friday deal. When my box was delivered it had been ripped open and my air pods were missing. They ran out of the air pods so they couldn't only offer me a replacement just a refund. Going on almost 4 weeks now still no refund. I have called multiple times and been told 5 business days, then 48 hours, I'm on hold right now as I type this and was just told 5 business days I am waiting to speak to a manager. Don't suggest doing any online shopping with them. read more

Today: out of eggs, no 2L regular Pepsi, one of the packages of bacon was busted open & leaking down on other products, where do they hide the A/C filters. The tire center is really slow, been waiting forever. I think the men outside was a bit snappy, I mean come on, " service with a smile people". The gentleman on the inside however was really polite , so that kinda makes up for the men outside. In the waiting area the coffee pot was burning and LORD, it stunk so bad, everyone just keep walking by it so I turned it off. Delivery Driver, that I pay a monthly subscription for, did not deliver my groceries on Feb 10, 2021. But took a pic of something thats not visible and said it was delivered. I can't get a representative on the phone you have freaking chat. Finally asked for a supervisor to call and some foreign guy that lacked empathy said he only issue a refund in 3 to 5. But you took my money in less than a second!!! Walmart did nothing to resolve this issue besides offer a refund in 3 to 5 days. My family is without food in a snow storm because of a lying driver who stole my food and Walmart took my money for 3 to 5 days so I cant buy groceries with that money. Unacceptable and no policy in place to benefit customers with this issues. Do better walmart! I'll start with the "good" first. The young man (cashier) actually spoke to me & actually made eye contact with me (polite young man). They usually just check me out,take my money, & send me on my way. Not this time. Now for the "bad". There were ONLY three registers open (with actual cashiers) & self checkout with the lines SOOOO long. This Walmart is terrible. My biggest issue is that after a certain time at night the only way to checkout is the self checkout. I work 2nd shift and do my shopping after work. Way less people in the store too is the main reason. I'm sorry but I don't want to ring up a whole cart full of food myself after work. I now only shop here for a couple things here and there. Walmart in Millington TN pickup is horrible. When you pullup & call the phone # posted on the sign, nobody never answers. When you call the main # & get switched to the pick up dept., still nobody answers. Today I sit there 1.5 hours waiting on my pickup, watching other people come after me & getting their pickup. Their guys loading will not even acknowledge you when you try to ask. Please fix this problem. Im sure you are losing business like this. The manager is clearly incompetent, my mother and I were in there, and a lady started harassing us, and threatened us while four employees stood there watching, as the manager said she couldn't do anything. Ohhhhhh Walmart, how I loathe that I must maintain a relationship with you. This walmart is one of the better ones, in my opinion. It's rather large and generally well laid out and clean. The staff are pretty decent. But, as with Walmart's affinity for subpar service, they have about 30 checkout lanes and only 5 are open at any given time on any day of the year. It's ridiculous. The millington pickup is unprofessional I waited over an hour for an order I still never received and I called them and spoke with 3 different people in there saying the same thing "I see your order " " I'll put you on the list" " oh I have your order about to bring it out". I went and knocked on the door after another 30+ mins went by and said a few choice of words and asked if that my order sitting there right by the door and he said yes I think so "she had to go grab something for it" and I was like yeah because it was given to someone else even after I called and called to try and prevent that from happening and they still let it happen with no explanation this will be the 4th time total this year they have given my order to someone else that's people hard earned money how are they okay with that? an hour of waiting and still nothing was brought out... full of cars in every spot that were there before and after me received their orders in a timely manner while I checked in over an hour before and waited over an hour and they apparently tried to hide the fact they gave my order to someone else, no sympathy or kindness very dull and rude personalities on the phone. sucks it's the closest Walmart to our area and these services they are suppose to offer can't even be enjoyed. their loss. read more

If it was possible to leave negative stars, I would. Horrible service with what appeared to be an extremely lazy staff. If ever you want to exercise your patience; this is the place to go for sure! We had an instance in electronics where we needed a pair of ear buds it of the locked case. (Why are the $10 ear buds locked up anyway?) but only one person had the keys so the game of find the employee who is actually working and who has the keys bagan... Because none of the 10 employees in electronics actually "worked in that department" some were "on break" some were talking on their cell phones and others just pretended like I wasn't there by just looking past me and continuing their conversations with each other. It took me 20 minutes to get the earbuds. Each department we shopped was dirty and disorganized and Understocked. I will definitely drive elsewhere to shop in the future. read more

I am totally frustrated with this Wallmart. Employess are rude and always tell me they cannot help me for whatever reason. My recent visit was for a watch battery. There was no employee at the counter so I pressed the assistance button. It asked for a employee to come to jewelry dept., after 10 minutes wait and no one showing up, I pressed again, no one came. I waited and pressed button 6 times and no one still ever came. Asked an employee for help, she said she would get somebody to come there. Waited another 15 minutes and finally gave up and left. Went to target, no problem and in timely matter. They have the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. All these employees standing around talking and not doing much of anything. Large lines backed up at cashier and only 2 lines open. About 10 lines not even open. Thats ridiculous wallmart. You have gone so down hill since Mr. Walton died. Wish you would address these issues instead of just blowing them off. I know that probably will not happen, its all about the mighty dollar, not customer service. Im done with your store. read more

On 10/22/2016 this place ran out of plastic bags. The management was hiding in their feeble attempt to not confront customers. People were leaving groceries. Obviously, they don't pay these people enough to buy the products it sells. (Just an assumption on their salary) Earlier this week I've personally seen used baby diapers in shopping carts. I've also seen fruit flies around some the produce at this store. I've seen kids go through the soft drinks coolers to take a drink out of the sodas & replace the caps and place them back in the coolers. To say this place is the lowest of the lowest would be too kind. Overall, if you buy anything from this store. Look for sanitary items. Never get a buggy without looking. This place is totally disgusting and I personally will not go back. read more

This store is just abysmal... Their electronics section is poorly organized, Blu-Ray selection is just terrible (not even a full quarter rack). The grocery side of the store is stocked, but labels are out of date, missing, or on the wrong shelves. The overall cleanliness of the store is just terrible. I feel that if going into the restroom just to relieve oneself shouldn't require a complete hose-down with sanitizing solution upon exiting to feel like you haven't been inundated with some dreadful disease. The cashiers here are very slow, and there are never enough lanes open, nor do they even have a self-check area for those of us who prefer to get their stuff, and go. read more

I have a "like"/hate relationship with this Walmart. This Walmart is located in the busiest part of Millington (north Millington) on highway 51. I love that it is relatively near my home. It isn't super busy/crammed as Memphis Walmarts. I feel safer in this area than most other locations. Most of the store stays pretty organized. departments don't get moved around a lot so if I need something in particular I can find it quicker with asking for help. My biggest complaints/headaches are: this location is notorious for being a madhouse on Black Friday! Managers allow customers to grab merchandise at 3-4 pm that doesn't go on sale till 6 so when you get there to pick up your items at what you feel is a great time to get in line and wait they have all been snatched up. Ugh. Very irritating! Unlike Targets, walmart is very scarce when it comes to "price check" machines. On a good day this location may have 1-2 working out of the 4-5 throughout the store. Another dislike is that out of the 15+ years I've shopped at the store. I can only remember the carts being fixed/replaced/updated twice. Bad carts can be bad for business. This Walmart has no fast food restaurant. For years there was a McDonald's location at the rear of the store but it was closed and the area was turned into their "refreshment" area. I'm not big on McDonald's but if my children are cranky/hungry it would be good to grab them something to keep them preoccupied so I could finish my shopping. If I have to go for something then I'll go, but I try to avoid. Sorry Walmart, I think Target is way better. read more

This location isn't as good as the one on Austin Peay. However, it isn't as bad as some seem to say. They are usually well stocked and the staff is friendly(for people making $10 an hour). This store could use a good spring cleaning and a few more cashiers for checkouts. Other than that it is pretty decent. read more

So I hardly ever post on any sites, as I usually have something better to do. But for the greater good, I will take the time to write and post this: I went to Millington Walmart to get my oil changed for the 1st time. I had gone before for simple shopping, but never for my car. Everything was going fine, as it was a 2 hour wait (which is usually longer at other Walmarts in the greater Memphis area). When they came to me to tell me that they were finished, the problem started. I received my key, thanked the attendant, and proceeded to start my car. The kind of key that I have has the unlock/lock buttons on the actual key. As I turned the key in the ignition, the shell surrounding the key cracked and fell apart in my hand!! I was surprised but I calmly and quickly put it back together because I was afraid that I would lose a small part of the key in the car. I put the key back together, got out of the car, and told the attendant what had happened. He stated that the key was already cracked when they received it initially. I told him and that that was not true, it had NEVER cracked while I was trying to start the car up. He said he didn't know what to tell me. I asked if anyone had perhaps dropped it and he said no. In my haste to leave, (I was super busy that day) I shook my head in disbelief at the whole situation, I foolishly left and silently vowed to never return to have my oil changed at Millington Walmart again. Word to the wise: Don't be like me. If you were wronged, dont let up. Call back and get what you deserve. read more

Man I've decided to avoid this place. They never have a lot of things in stock, there are a lot of things mispriced, and none of the associates know the store. A lot of them had an attitude and are over all unfriendly. In the automotive center they have a man working the cash register and he was fairly rude. We tried to explain to him what was wrong with the tire and he had an attitude and wouldn't let us even tell him what we want done to the car. One of the mechanics told us what was wrong with the tire and when we went to the get the man hatefully re explained it to us even after we told him the mechanic already explained it. After that experience we will definitely take our business else where. Most likely the Walmart on Austin Pea. Maybe they treat their customers with a little bit more respect. A read more
