IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS OR NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! Recently I attempets to get gas at the Millington Kroger. I had just received and gift card for my birthday it was activated - Mastercard debit gift card... I tried to use it at the pump - declined. Went to pay in person attempted w attendant 2x both times told declined. So I proceeded to pay with my debit card. After leaving I checked my gift card to see why it didn't work - well KROGER DID IN FACT CHARGE MY CARD! so I called thinking the manager could fix. Was told he was unavailable. given a 1800# I attempted to speak to a live person without success. So I went on the app and sent and email, was responded 24 hr later "that's unfortunate but I can't help you call this number" I then called that number which also could not help. I then proceeded to go to Millington Kroger in person. FREDDIE was the store manager - REFUSED TO HELP, TOLD ME "nothing he could do" ALL THIS DESPITE ME SHOWING THEM ONLINE WHERE THE CARD WAS CHARGED!!! I then spent 59 min on the phone w customer care was transferred 4 diff times until ultimately the last person hung up. THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND ARE NOT GIVING IT BACK! read more

Previously, this Kroger would get about a 2, but now it is about a 3.5. Have many years, this Kroger finally has been remodeled as it desperately needed it. During my visit there were many items that were not on the shelf, it might just because of COVID. However, some items they just should have had like basic items most Kroger's always have. My biggest issue is the produce they carry did not seem very fresh. I purchased some Strawberries and they seemed to be on their last leg. The overall staff here is nice. This Kroger obviously sells groceries. However, it also includes a pharmacy, florist, and gasoline station.

Very poor customer service. Tried to exchange a $4 pack of bacon bits I purchased two days earlier at another store because it was bad and expired 30 days ago. Management, "Collin", said they would not exchange because it was purchased at another store. I would have to drive 30 minutes away to the other store to get exchanged. Is this really how you want to treat customers? Spoke with another store manager and this is NOT company policy just very poor customer service and is not the first time I've had problems with millingron store either. read more

Very Outdated. Needs a complete renovation. This store lacks many of the great attributes of the other newer stores.

I don't know if they are under new management or what but the black lady wit the short brown hair that's always standing behind the customer service counter is trash. You can tell she hates her job. She always has a frown on her face. I walked in for a money order today, her and another lady told me to come back at 4. When I came back the above mentioned lady was standing by self check out watching me stand at the counter. No "how can I help you" or "someone will be with you shortly" nothing. I really wish she would quit. Btw nobody came to assist me. I stood there 10 minutes then walked away. I really hate this is the closest Kroger to me. Nothing against this company. Just that lady that irritates me and others that I've spoken to. read more

This Kroger is in bad need of an upgrade, everything looks old and outdated, even the floors look terrible. I've been in this store a few times and it was very unforgettable. Its a busy store but Kroger needs to seriously show this store and the surrounding community some love and transform this store into modern, clean and inviting food shopping experience. I would even set up a cloths and Nick Knacks section, I've seen other Kroger's that are kind of in rural areas do it and it make plenty of sense. read more

I will not be coming back to millington Kroger. I asked if I could be helped in the deli section and a girl that was working the self checkout kindly helped me and called for someone to help me. But then the lady working customer service got an attitude and told me they're closed. I simply said It's says y'all don't close till 8 as it was 7:30 and she was very rude and said "I ain't talking to you" and continued to say more things to me as I was leaving. She also treated her other staff very poorly for helping me. I will not be back neither will my friend or family. If she keeps up this behavior I know I will not be the only one. This is very unacceptable. I would still love to speak to a manager at (901) 848-1483. Thank you. (The black lady behind the customer service, little on the big side, with glasses.) she needs to be fired and not working with customer service or people in general. If I hadn't seen this firsthand, I wouldn't have believed it. The pharmacy manager (name tag said Michael) refused an older lady a shingles vaccine because she had complained about the wait. What?! Since when does he have the authority to abuse it in such a way? I was buying toothpaste but couldn't help witnessing this. He gave her a backhanded compliment and she thanked him politely. We stopped by here while staying in Millington on vacation. We found everything we needed. The only downside was the checkout situation. We waited in line forever (the people in front of us didn't have much, the cashiers were just moving so slow) and everyone around us was visibly frustrated. We finally left the line and went to self checkout which was a much better experience unfortunately. read more

I have had some poor experiences so I thought I would post one thats positive! I live near this store and it is our go to for groceries etc, we are blessed to have such a warm (mostly) staff, and team leads that still understand what customer service is about. Way to go Kroger Atoka! read more

I was just passing through but this Kroger felt like a home-town, privately owned grocery store. Not that big of a selection, but you can very nearly get everything you need. Everything was well stocked and clean. I had employees and shoppers smile and nod at me without giving me a creepy feeling. It was nice! read more

I much prefer this one to the one down in Atoka. Though it is small, I think that is part of its charm. The deli selection could be a little bit better but overall this is a good store to go into. The customer service is good (though I have noticed a slight decline in customer service in the last year or so). The biggest issue to me is the parking area. People come flying through a lot so be sure and watch yourself. read more

The friendliness of the employees, the selection of goods, and the helpfulness of everyone explains why I get my fuel, my prescriptions, my groceries, my pet food, and many other things from this Kroger location. Having lived in middle, east, and now west TN, this Kroger is the best there is. read more
