I'd have gladly given a zero. I had to make 3 trips of 40 miles to get an answer if they'd mount and balance tires on an 80 year old hotrod. YES!!! I show up for the appt and they cancelled the appointment, then told me they wouldn't be working on my truck??? After 120 miles, they told me they didn't know how to torque the rims on my truck. This Walmart has to rank right up there with one of the worst. Product is always out of stock, not restocked for days, they are short on cashiers even during busy times. Stopped by on a busy Sunday afternoon and the express 20 item and under lane was closed but a CSM was standing nearby. Or you are FORCED to go through self checkout with an employee peering at ya, hawking over your shoulder. Thought I could swing by for a couple of items, but of course they were out of stock. Pros: -Grocery pickup is a nice convenience (with many caveats mentioned below that make me wonder how truly "convenient" it is). -Options for gluten free premade and ingredients and healthier meats have gotten much better recently. -Store employees are usually nice (see below for at least one exception) -When the app works, I have never had a problem with location services...unlike some other apps. -For a small town, it's nice that there is someplace to get last minute kids birthday stuff, crayons, fabric, yarn, and other craft supplies. Cons: -The previous reviews are correct that nearly every time you go to the store they are out of at least one thing that you have on your list. -The produce is hit or miss. Sometimes you can get mostly good stuff, other times there is a lot of limp almost compost-ready options. -They still do not carry Soda Stream products. It would be nice for a local business to have these as I have to travel 20-30 miles to replace our charging cans...the rest I buy online. -If you are late to pick up grocery items, they sometimes yell at you because your stuff is in their way. The app doesn't always work properly to text you that your order is ready. -Employees filling for pickup don't always pick a replacement item even if one is available (which you can approve or deny in the app). So you may have to go into a store any ways. I always try to get what I can from Amazon or Aldi's because of this. I don't like giving my money for them not doing their job. -The app for pickup is really glitchy. Aside from the not texting you about your order being ready, it also may not register that you could log in to get your order when it's ready. It sometimes doesn't add items that you put into the cart to the order. -Things for pick up are often missed, so you need to check your receipt when you get home to see if you got what you paid for or if it just didn't add that item to your order when you pressed the order button. Then you need to call them and either go to pickup what they missed or have them do a return for it. -Organic eggs are ridiculously expensive here. -On the flip side of above, it doesn't carry enough of variety in a lot of toys and craft supplies to be very useful except the very basics of those supplies. -To my knowledge you cannot use coupons for pickup...not sure how they would make that work, but it would be nice. -When you go into the store, there aren't many cashiers, so you have to use self check or wait forever (like when you need a gas tank replacement for your grill). -There are several items that are grocery items that you can get in the store that you cannot get for pickup (and it seems to rotate what you can an cannot get via pickup- something that was available is not and somethings that were not available are now...it's annoyingly feeling like we want to offer things for pickup, but then change them so hopefully you walk into the store for them...) The more inconvenient that pickup becomes...the more that I buy from Amazon and Aldi's...I just don't like rewarding them for the inconvenience that they cause. It would almost be better without grocery pickup for me, except that I have young children and they are a pain to bring into the store for all of the items that I need because their patience wears thin and I don't want to go every day... read more

Auto technicians were unprofessional and did not resolved the issues they promised to fix my tire sensor issues after I bought 4 new tires and paid them to put the tires on my wife's van. First I was told the tire monitor system should reset after driving for awhile on the road. Then when I went back I was told that one of the tire sensor had a bad battery and was charged $50 plus for replacing that battery. Afterwards I was told to go back in a few days because some one had misplaced the device that reset the tire monitoring system. Then when I went back after a week I was told again they have not found the missing device and don't know when they'll get a new device ordered/replaced. What unprofessionalism and bullshit service. This has to be the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been to. I already dislike Wal-Mart as a company purely for ethical reasons but being the slightly hypocritical cheapskate I am, I do shop there more often than I would like to admit. That being said, this Wal-Mart reached a whole new low for the company. I am not even entirely sure where to begin. First of all, they do not even have a gluten free section. With the pure number of people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance raising substantially every year, you would think that would be a common staple in Wal-Mart stores. Alas, I was given the excuse of "this Wal-Mart is too small" when I complained about the lack of gluten free options. Secondly, they carry pretty much nothing in my diet besides produce. It seems to be catered to those that live off of processed junk food. It is truly saddening to experience. Next up, this Wal-Mart seems to lack competent employees for restocking their items. As my partner said "can't stock for shit". The items are in different places every time we go and there just doesn't seem to be any cohesive planning or execution in their stocking. Furthermore, they are ALWAYS out of things. Not once have I gone there and been able to get everything I was looking for. They simply do not know how to or when to restock items. Bare shelves are a common theme. My one praise to this Wal-Mart goes to the personality of the employees. They always have a smile and try their best to help me navigate the craziness. Many of them have an excellent sense of humor and even understand my grievances. It's small selection of products is underwhelming. The management is rude and childish. The shelves are never stocked...sometimes going days empty. It does offer 24hr service and the guy who greets at the door is always kind and warming. The eye center is always above average, the sales associates are well educated and very helpful. The eye doctor is kind and courteous. The subway and Papa Murphys inside the store always serve good food. read more

I was at Walmart in New Richmond WI on August 21, 2020. I have had way too many wrong rings in the past that I now scan everything on there app before I put it in my cart. I had a cart load of items and found a blemish kit for $1.82. I scan and it rings up $7.97. I look at the upc and it matches. Mind you, the UPC strip is above the tags, which are above the item. The UPC strip is one that goes across the shelf so items are put in the correct spot. The corresponding tags are then put directly below, but above the product. I finish my shopping and go to the checkout. When the cashier rings up the item for the higher price I inform her that the tag stated $1.82. I show her the picture I took of the item and she agreed it should be $1.82. She then couldn't find her override key so she called a CSM over. CSM is a Customer Service Manager. CSM Kristen then came over, did a price check and removed all the product in that spot. She told me the price was $7.97 and the product was in the wrong spot. I told her the product is not in the wrong spot because of the UPC strip. (The UPC strip is about 4 feet long, meaning the item is in the correct spot) CSM Kristen then said that the tag was in the wrong spot and that someone must have moved it. I then told her it wasn't me and I want it for the listed price of $1.82. Also if she didn't believe me to pull the tapes of me in the isle. CMS Kristen said she wasn't doing that and the price was $7.97. I then asked her if she wanted to lose a sale of approximately $200 over $5. CSM Kristen said to do whatever I wanted. So I left. Unfortunately I had to rate at least one star. I went Christmas shopping at the beginning of this month. I had my teenage son with me, I bought him a Xbox 360 game skate 3. My Son handed the money to the cashier pay for his Xbox game,he told by the cashier that he was not old enough to buy the game, he had to be at least 18 years old. My son handed me the money and I purchased the game I turned around and handed my son back his change. The cashier told me that it was illegal for me to purchase the game for my son,then she told me that what I just did was just like by my son alcohol from the liquor store. The cashier proceeded to call me a white cracker and called my son a retard. Then she proceeded to tell me that I should have a nice night and that she meant it and then proceeded to call me a white cracker again. I simply took my stuff that I had purchased from that Walmart at me and my family walked out of that store.I refuse to walk back into that store or give them any of my business after being treated like that. I would recommend the people in that area to go shop at the other Walmarts at least 20 miles from there. read more

I was in store tonight. I a severely handicap so I use a mobile cart. I did get a couple of items in the back of the store when my cart battery went from full to empty, with beeping noise. Carts are always a problem here. Someone needs to repair all carts. Well, I was with this cart unable to walk. A young blonde employee who was working in the material cutting table was called to come over to me. I asked her to bring a full charged cart to me so I could finish shopping and checkout. She said she would ask to see if she could do this for me. I sat for 15 minutes and she never returned to me. She did not even tell me that she could not do this. So, I inched my way up the aisle. I was in extreme pain. I leaned on shelves to keep from falling. No staff came to help me. I got a new scooter and went to get items from old scooter. HANDICAP PEOPLE are NOT respected,not helped and treated rudely. I would never return since I am worth a lot better treatment from a company. I need someone from the store to call me. read more

This Walmart location doesn't carry Sodastream products. Their so-called reason is that they don't have 8 feet of shelf space available in the store. That's an absolute bogus reason. How do all the other nearby Walmart locations have shelf space for Sodastream while the New Richmond store doesn't. The Hudson Walmart isn't even a supercenter and they carry Sodastream. Whoever decided that New Richmond shouldn't carry Sodastream products certainly has a few screws loose. All of the other area stores struggle just to keep the stuff on their shelves. The word Sodastream is also apparently a sore subject in the New Richmond Walmart. I made the mistake of assuming that New Richmond carried the stuff without checking the Sodastream website. I asked an employee if the store carried Sodastream and he got all pissy just because I asked. He also said that he never heard of the stuff. This person was obviously living under a rock if he never heard of Sodastream. I don't understand why customers were willing to let County Market go out of business in favor of this crappy store. I didn't think County Market was a bad store by any means. At least employees there didn't get angry over a simple question. read more
